If you are not able to travel at mid-month, you may be working on a media project for publishing, broadcasting, or the Internet. Or, you may be working on a legal action you need to make in the courts. With Pluto in opposition to this new moon, you may have a dispute with the party on the other side, who will not be in the mood to negotiate a settlement. Pluto will oppose Mars, and so you may notice the other side wants his own way, possibly because this person is used to getting his own way, just like the proverbial 800-pound gorilla that gets to sit anywhere he pleases.

Saturn is back in Scorpio at the very tail end of his visit. Once Saturn leaves September 17, happily, Saturn will not be back to Scorpio again until 2041. You would only feel this visit of Saturn and the extra responsibilities that Saturn brings if your birthday falls on November 19 to November 23. You are so close to getting to the finish line!

This month, Saturn in Scorpio will be very friendly to the Sun and Mercury. On July 31, the Sun in Cancer and Saturn in Scorpio will work together flawlessly. This would help you if you are planning to travel overseas or to build a solid relationship with those executives based in a foreign country. Legal matters will go well, as will anything having to do with academia or the media (such as a publishing, broadcasting, or Internet project). One of Venus' most important functions is to promote love, fun, and romance, so this would not be the time to get engaged or to make any new steps in an ongoing, close relationship. If you are single and hoping to meet someone new, put off circulating or posting on a dating site until after Venus regains her strength on and after October 9. Although Venus will regulate her orb September 6, she'll be in even finer, stronger form on and after October 9.

We feel the effects of the so-called personal planets (Mercury, Mars, and Venus) go retrograde more than when one of the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) go out of phase. This is because the personal planets orbit closer to earth.

Speaking of retrograde planets, Uranus will go retrograde too, from July 26 to December 25. Uranus governs the solar fourth house of home, so you would have to act quickly in July to get plans set early on for your home or other property you might own, or in regard to ways you hope to help an elderly parent. It's common for an outer planet to stay retrograde for five months, like Uranus will very soon.

It looks like you will be quite motivated to address home-related matters, for on July 31, the full moon in Aquarius 8 degrees, you will see a development there reach culmination. This full moon will be very friendly, and so you can accomplish a lot at this time. You may be getting ready to move, or see a major renovation, repair, or paint job finish up. Taskmaster Saturn returned into Scorpio last month to stay briefly, until September 17, so you may feel career stress mount during this time. This would especially apply to those Scorpios with birthdays that fall November 19 to 23.

If you yearn to get away, this would be the perfect time to take a vacation - do so sometime in the first half of the month. The full moon July 1 will put you in the right frame of mind to pack and go to a pretty location near your base. Taken then, a little trip will offer the opportunity for plenty of fun and a touch of luxury, too.

The new moon July 15 will also coax you to travel, but by this point in the month, things won't go exactly to plan. That new moon will be under siege from Uranus, so news that surfaces at home at the last minute may interfere with your leaving town. Venus will retrograde July 25 to September 6. Because Venus rules love, beauty, and anything that embellishes elements in life, avoid giving a large, expensive party during this time, and do nothing to change your looks just yet. Wait, if possible, until after October 9, when Venus will be very strong again.
