This month may feel as though it will focus you completely on your partner, but July will be equally as much about you, too, for you will have to decide, once and for all, what will make you happy in life.

You won't have to wait long to find out what July is all about, for the full moon of July 1 will fall in Capricorn 10 degrees, a time when a matter that's extremely important to you will come to culmination. This new moon will be a positive one, for it will come with a solid, supportive beam from Neptune. This suggests you may be able to get away from everyday cares by traveling to a nearby, yet quite beautiful natural setting that is surrounded by water.

Mars will be in your seventh house of partnership all month, so you might have a disagreement at this full moon, July 1, and the topic would likely be brought up by your partner. This person might be your spouse, steady love, or a business partner or agent. If so, a hidden feeling or resentment of your partner will surface at this full moon. It's always better to know than not know, but still, it can be painful to find out about emotions of a partner that have been buried and given time to fester. With Pluto in Capricorn conjunct the moon, your response may be to fly off the handle. That would be too heavy-handed, and you know you needn't swat a gnat with a hammer. You can, if you like, delay your response to think about things for a few days. The July 1 full moon will bring emotions to a high point. By delaying your response, you would allow the heat of the moment to simmer down so that rational thoughts can prevail.

Mars will remain in your partnership sector all month, until August 8, so at work, you will need to be in cooperative team-player mode when you are with your business partner, collaborator, or agent, rather than try to try to get things precisely your way. There's no use railing against this situation - with planets on the western side of the chart, that's how you'll do best.

If your birthday falls on January 1, you will feel the effects of this full moon most. The same will be true if you have your natal chart and notice that you have a natal planet, the Sun, natal moon, or ascendant within five degrees of 10 degrees Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus, Cancer, Pisces, or Scorpio.

Also on July 1 will be a magnificent aspect to be truly excited about: Jupiter conjunct Venus in Leo, shining in your house of finances. You are likely to get sensational news about your career - news you will want to celebrate - and concurrently (I am not sure if the two are linked), you will also get news that of quite a bit of money will be coming your way soon.

The money you will be thinking about might involve real estate, such as if you are selling or bidding on property, or are trying to get the monthly rental cost down. One way or another, it looks as though you will be very happy about what transpires. This financial news may take you by surprise, as Uranus, the planet of unexpected developments, will send a golden beam to both Venus and Jupiter.

The following two days will be very special too, so the excitement continues. On July 2, Mercury will receive energy from Uranus, planet of genius, turning you into a powerhouse of innovative ideas. This would be an ideal day to brainstorm or to concentrate on writing an important document, such as your novel or screenplay. Alternatively you may decide to take a spontaneous trip for work, and if so, it would work out exceptionally well, and you'll come back with the order.

The following day, July 3, Mercury will receive a beam from Jupiter, and again the news about money is fantastic. The kind of money you might be thinking about would represent a commission, royalty, licensing fee, signing bonus, book advance or other one-time chunk of cash. Alternatively, the money might be tied to an approval for a bank loan or an infusion of cash from a venture capitalist. Or, it might be news of an inheritance from, say, your aunt or uncle. No matter where the money emanates from, it appears you will leave July richer than when you entered the month.

Your partner, or plans to get married or sign a business partner, will again be on your mind at the new moon, July 15. A new moon opens a new path in the house in which it falls, and this one will find you getting serious about either getting married or forming a contractual business relationship.

On the other hand, if you have not been happy, with the strain on this new moon from Uranus, you may finally break apart. Pluto will oppose Mars at the time, so a struggle for dominance may erupt. This is a very forceful aspect, and doubly so when these two powerful planets oppose one another on key angles of the chart, in the first and seventh houses, as will happen now for you.

Uranus will be in hard angle to the Sun and new moon July 15, so living quarters - a house or condo, rental, or other space - appears to have presented an obstacle of some sort. If you are splitting up, you may have a disagreement about who will get to live in the house and who will have to leave. Or, you may have to decide whether the house you share will have to be sold. Or, the problem may center on a landlord, roommate, or tenant, or it may have to do with the structure of your house, or a need to move out quickly and suddenly, at the fault of nobody - the building was sold. Still, with Venus orbiting so close to Jupiter, within two degrees, all month, it appears your finances will be protected.

Alternatively, the concern that you will have after the new moon arrives, July 15, might be a concern for one family member, most likely the well-being of your mother or father. On the flip side, you might not be concerned about the health of your parent, but rather about what your family, or ex-partner, is saying about your plans for an impending marriage, or what you plan to do about a house or condo.

This situation, no matter which way it asserts itself, appears to come up out of the blue in mid-month. In the days that follow the new moon July 15, you may have to slow down to fully absorb what is happening, what you are hearing, and to reflect on what your options are and what your response should be. No matter what occurs, the matter won't be quick or easy to solve. You will be tempted to be impulsive and show a quick, knee-jerk reaction, but that might not be the best approach. Then again, it would be an honest reaction See how you feel. After this month, you will know where you stand, and you can plan accordingly. That's always a relief.

If your birthday falls on January 13, plus or minus five days, or you have Capricorn rising within five degrees (in either direction) of 23 degrees Capricorn, you will feel the opportunities and ups and downs of the new moon of July 15.

Your career will slow down, and so will your social schedule, during the time Venus will be retrograde from July 25 to September 6. This is rare for Venus to shut down, but when she does, she will not be able to beam her strongest powers of love, beauty, or grace, nor lend her financial prowess to you either. (You may be surprised to hear that along with Jupiter and Pluto, Venus holds sway over profits too.)

For you, Venus rules your career (solar tenth house) and your love life (solar fifth house). Your career will show slow progress from July 25 to September 6. This is not too terrible a predicament, for this is a time of the year many people go on vacation anyway. If you are single and hope to meet someone new, you are not likely to meet the right person during the Venus retrograde. It would certainly not be the time to get engaged.

Venus also rules pampering and fun, so hold off on giving a big, expensive party or fundraiser. If you were planning to spend a week at a spa, you might want to delay that trip until after September 6 or better yet, after October 9. All planets, after finishing being retrograde, require a little time to wake up and ramp up to former strength. In the case of Venus, mathematically, it will take her until October 9 to be back in her best condition.

The retrograde period would not be the time to change your hair color, nor ask your stylist to change your hairstyle in a dramatic, radical way. It's not the time for Botox treatments or for plastic surgery, for Venus rules beauty, and here you and I are talking about your face. Men, you are included in this discussion, so this would not be the time to grow a beard, for example, or shave one off. You can do regular grooming, have trims, and so forth, so to be clear I am saying it is the dramatic moves that are not wise when Venus is retrograde. All people of all signs will want to be content with the status quo, or, to make all changes early in the month, leaving as much space between the time you make changes and the onset of the retrograde.

In case you are curious, we feel retrograde periods of the so-called personal planets more directly than those of the outer planets. The personal planets orbit closest to Earth, including Mercury, Venus, and Mars. The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, and they are too far away to have a powerful effect on us when retrograde. The outer planets retrograde for five months at a time, but their effect is subtle when they do. For example, Uranus is getting ready to retrograde from July 26 to December 25. As said, the influence will be gentle, for Uranus is not a personal planet. It is true that your salary will show little progress during the rest of this year, but once you get to February 2016, you will get a great opportunity to get your raise. Perhaps that timetable works perfectly for you.

As you get ready to close down the month, July's second full moon, July 31, will come by in Aquarius, 8 degrees. This will be a very friendly full moon, and again you will focused on money. This full moon won't have any tough aspects, but only peaceful ones to calmly allow you to pay bills and get your finances in order. It is a good time to see your financial advisor and go over your evolving insurance needs too.

July starts with a full moon, July 1, in your sign, Capricorn, bringing to culmination something dearly important to you. You will be very focused on a close relationship, most likely a romantic one, but you might be getting ready to make a business partnership official. However, if you have been unhappy in either type of relationship, this moment may pull you apart.

As a result of a beautiful conjunction of Venus and Jupiter on July 1, you will likely hear good news about money. (Jupiter and Venus will orbit within two degrees all month, so this aspect will be at play a long time.) You may receive a large check that represents a bonus, commission, royalty, cash gift, bank loan, inheritance, or funds from a court settlement or divorce decree. Or you may get approval for a line of credit, university financial aid and/or a student loan, or be offered an attractive mortgage, as some examples. Venus will have a rare annual meeting with Jupiter, and both these benefic planets are associated with money. It is so very possible that this month, and possibly at the start of July, a generous chunk of money will find a path to your door.

Also as a result of the meeting of Venus and Jupiter, July 1, you will find that your career will go so well that it seems you will have something to celebrate. The new moon, signifying beginnings, will appear in Cancer on July 15 and again has to do with a relationship that you are already committed to, or would like to commit to now. Any relationship you try to forge in the second half of July - romantic or business in nature - will pose challenges. Pluto will again be prominent, and you will forcefully react against any point that you find hard to swallow.

Single Capricorns who are not dating anyone seriously will not feel this influence, as the seventh house of serious commitment and marriage will be the area brightly lit. Speaking of money, the month's second full moon, July 31, will find you paying bills and instituting financial decisions. This will be a friendly full moon, for it will receive a stabilizing beam from Saturn, your ruling planet. Review your insurance needs, and confer with your retirement broker. This would be a perfect time to take a weekend course about how to invest appropriately for your age and long-term goals, or to schedule a meeting with your financial advisor. The time you take to manage your financials at this full moon will pay dividends to you later.

Two days that will be outstanding for you include July 21 and July 22, for each day will involve a friendly beam from Saturn, your guardian planet. You might have a very big deal to negotiate on July 21 when the Sun and Saturn work in sync, and if so, you will come away smiling. This would be a great day to sign papers.

On July 22, you have a similar set of glowing aspects. If you sign papers on this day, Mercury and Saturn will work together to bring a stable and long-lasting relationship or situation, such as if you close on a house.
