We only get one new moon a year in our own sign, and this one is yours. In early November, think about what you would like to achieve in this coming year. Neptune, so prominent at the new moon, is visual and tied to cinematic descriptions, so this month, if you can visualize your new life, you can have it. Take steps in early November toward that dream.

This new moon in Scorpio that appeared last month on October 30 will be strong in early November for at least ten days. Think about how far you’ve come, and where you’d like to take your life next. During the years while stern teacher-planet Saturn moved through Scorpio (October 5, 2012 to September 27, 2015) your perspective matured, and you also became clear-eyed and quite practical. Those had to have been hard years, for back then you were being tested in all areas of your life. This is a trend that happens for three years every twenty-nine years, so Saturn won’t be back to Scorpio anytime soon.

Saturn is known to bring on a feeling of isolation, so you may have felt that the people around you that you normally depend on were not there for you in those years, for any number of reasons. Pluto is in your third house of communication, and this house rules contracts and negotiation, and also includes any written documents, including reports and manuscripts. This planet puts an emphasis on writing for any purpose, including social media, and also covers the spoken word, such as a speech or educational lecture. You might alternatively be working on an advertising campaign or a publicity tour, or be asked to judge another person’s work while serving on a panel (like on the show, The Voice). You might be the writer, TV or radio host, guest, speaker, editor, producer, agent, or publicist, or you may work in sales or teaching. These areas shine for you, thanks to Pluto at 15 degrees, which admittedly is a little far from the full moon in Scorpio at 23 degrees. We usually like to see a tighter degree between two planets in the astrology, but this planet is certainly within the area of influence, within eight degrees of that full moon and very friendly. Pluto is known to be a financial planet, so you may sign a contract, and with Pluto so helpful, it could work out to be quite lucrative.

Speaking of all things lucrative, money has been a sore spot in your world. Saturn has been moving through your second house of earned income, but Saturn brings limits. Neptune will be at hard angles at this time, however, so a creative idea may be turned down for funding, or you may simply come up against overruns or other obstacles on the path of working on a creative idea. You may have to go back to the drawing board and change it to conform to the client’s needs. If that is an option, it is nothing to be concerned about, and once you get things right, all will go smoothly.

Mars is your guardian planet (along with Pluto), so the whereabouts of Mars in your chart always points to plenty of activity. Of course, Mars is the planet of action, courage, and drive, making this doubly true for you. Ever since Mars entered Capricorn last September 27, Mars has been encouraging you to travel, and that is true in the first week of November.

Now Mars will move into Aquarius on November 8 until December 19 and bring you a very strong emphasis on home, property, and family.
