You will see at least one old friend you’ve not seen in a long time because that is what Mercury tends to bring on when retrograde – surprise meetings.

 You must start your holiday shopping immediately, however, for you will feel Mercury retrograde far in advance of its turn on December 19 – it will start to create delays as early as December 5. You won’t want to hear that dreaded sentence, “We are all sold out and don’t expect another shipment of that item until January.” Shop now. If you get into a bind, then buy gift cards from major retailers you that your recipient loves to frequent, and later after you have bought the card, photocopy the bar code and the numbers beneath it in case the card gets lost. You cannot buy expensive electronic digital items, computers, smart phones, tablets, or appliances next month! Do it now! That goes for a car too – get it now, and stay FAR away from Mercury retrograde.

 In terms of love, this month will emphasize your career, and I do want you to focus there, for you will make more professional progress now than you have through most of 2016. That said, there are still indications you will have wonderful holiday season, full of joy and fun.

 Venus will move into Capricorn, a very special place for Venus to be, for Capricorn is an earth sign like yours. Venus will remain in Capricorn from November 11 to December 7.
