As you enter February, you have travel on your mind. You may be traveling quite a bit, going in and out of airports, packing and unpacking, but enjoying yourself to the fullest by being in a new setting. Travel to you is like oxygen – it gets your mind working, and it boosts your creativity. That’s why this month you’ll be humming a happy tune.

The new moon that just occurred January 27 is one that will be broadening to your mind and exhilarating to your spirit. It will feel like you have let in sunshine and fresh air. Even if you go away for business – and it is not clear why you will be on the road – you will have a chance to see friends and socialize on your trip(s).

Your ninth house will be energized, so you will feel a fresh, broadening of your perspective, coaxing you to think in bigger terms than you have previously. Along with this trend will be a yearning for learning about the world around you. You may be back in a college classroom as an undergraduate or graduate, or simply attending lectures or a book signing. Or, with such emphasis on the ninth house, you may be the speaker, and if so, things will go exceptionally well.

Other areas of gain include legal actions, and any efforts you make in the publishing or broadcasting realm. You may be starting your own TV show or talking to executives about your own radio or Internet show. Gemini is the sign of the agent, so you may be representing talent for a media venture and do really well with that.

If your birthday falls on May 28, plus or minus five days, you will find that one of these areas will glow for you. The same is true if you have Gemini rising at 8 degrees, or the moon in Aquarius or Gemini 8 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, or if you have a natal planet in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius at 8 degrees, plus or minus five degrees, you too, will be happy with the way the start of February goes.

Since end of December you have had Mars lighting your house of career, and things have not always been easy. Mars put the pressure on you to perform well, with excellence, which you did, but you had to concentrate. You may feel you didn’t have a good holiday because so much of it was taken up with your career. Now that changes, for Mars entered Aries on January 28 to stay until March 9. This will bring in a marvelously social period, and one you will fully enjoy. You will be with many people in February – in fact, you may be surrounded by crowds of them, but enjoying yourself all the while.

Your big moment will be February 10 when the full moon lunar eclipse will occur on February 10 in Leo at 23 degrees. This eclipse will light your third house of writing, speaking, and travel, and is one of the sweetest eclipses that we have seen in ages. This eclipse will draw in support from Uranus in Aries (happy surprises from friends) and Jupiter (happiness gifts and luck) in Libra in your fifth house of true love and romance. That will bring you possibilities for meeting someone new, or simply having fun, and getting more attention from your steady partner. If you hope to have a baby, this eclipse may bring good news. Additionally, Saturn, planet of stability, from your house of commitment, could bring stunning help from a committed business and or romantic partner.

Whatever you are doing within the week of February 10 seems to be quite important to your future. Leo is the sign of entertainment, so if you are an actor or performer, you will be helped in a big way by this eclipse too. You seem to be traveling a great distance, and you may be writing or producing a segment for broadcast while you are traveling (possibly because you are traveling to do this work in another city). A full moon eclipse always brings in the energy of your second house of earned income, dear Gemini, and because this eclipse is so beautifully angled, I feel you will see a generous sum of money as a result from all that you do at this time.

If your birthday falls on June 12 plus or minus five days, you will feel this eclipse the most, and you benefit the most. The same is true if you have Gemini rising at 22 degrees, the moon in Gemini at that degree, or a natal planet in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Aries, or Leo (but not Sagittarius this time). Add a plus or minus of five degrees. This eclipse will stand out and bring exciting news to you.

The job of an eclipse is to create change by rousing you out of complacency, to bring closure (if it is a lunar full moon eclipse) or new opportunity (if it is a new moon solar eclipse). Few aspects bring as sudden, quick, and dramatic news as an eclipse if it is close enough to touch a natal planet in your chart.

The next eclipse, February 26 in Pisces 8 degrees, should also bring very big news, this time for your career. This one will be a solar new moon eclipse in Pisces and will light your house of honors, awards, and achievement. This will be the most important new moon of 2017 to create massive change in your career – all of it positive. Neptune will be conjunct that new moon eclipse, suggesting your image will be “out there” for all the world to see. You may become famous or, if you are already famous, garner much media attention. Watch the weeks that follow that new moon eclipse.

At the same time as the solar eclipse, Mars and Uranus will be conjunct in Aries, in your house of friendships, suggesting something is coming up that surprises you regarding a friend. This may mean that you may find that a friend brings out-of-the-blue news. Be careful, though, as this is a hot aspect that could bring a disagreement. Venus is standing by to soften the effect, so let’s think good thoughts and expect happy unexpected news. Life is never humdrum when eclipses come by, and this month will be no exception.

The eclipses will bring the headline news, but there are two other days that will bring you outstanding luck. Mercury is your ruler, and it’s moving direct, in good, strong shape. On February 21, Mercury, your ruler, will receive golden beams from Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck. This would be a fantastic day to sign papers, give a presentation, go to an interview, or meet anyone for the first time (you’ll make a great impression). It is also a day to hand in a manuscript, screenplay, or report; give a speech; or do anything that you feel can further your career.

If you miss Tuesday, February 21, then your second-best day (other than the eclipses, which should bring good news) will be Thursday, February 23. On that day, Mercury, your ruler, will be in ideal angle to Saturn. A partner in love or business might bright you a wonderful breakthrough or opportunity. If you sign any papers on this day, the deal will stay in place for a very long time – possibly decades.

Romantically, this month will be very strong for you. You must circulate! If you are single, you will likely meet someone intriguing at a party, and it would happen when you would least expect anything to happen. Venus loves to be with Mars, and usually they are found traveling apart in the sky. Eclipses often bring news that brings turning points in our lives, so pay attention to any offers or events that come up. This eclipse is unusually friendly, for the lunar eclipse will be in perfect sync with Saturn in your partnership house, and to Uranus in your friendship house. This suggests people are coming together to support you in a powerful way. A friend may spark the opportunity that you receive, and your agent or business partner or collaborator may take that opportunity and bring it the rest of the way. Saturn’s presence suggests that this project can give you the comforting foundation of security that you’ve long hoped to achieve.

By the time the solar eclipse comes up, February 26, your tenth house of fame and honors will be brilliantly lit. An entirely new professional opportunity is about come to you, and will allow you to express the depth of your creativity. You seem to be very prominent in the press at month’s end, too, on television, in print, and/or on the Internet.
