Tomorrow, I fly to San Diego to give my Year Ahead 2019 weekend seminar at the La Costa Resort & Spa in nearby Carlsbad, CA. I am doing a cool Yoga + Astrology 3-day weekend from November 2-4 with Alanna Zabel of AZIAM Yoga. Neptune will be trine the Sun, denoting extreme harmony and spirituality, making this the perfect weekend to recharge. This will be a calming weekend where we will set our intentions for the New Year 2019.

This has the makings of a highly productive, important month for you. The new moon sets the ball rolling on November 7, in Scorpio, 15 degrees, to light your sixth house of work projects. It appears a sweet project will be coming your way, and it seems to be a new one you don’t know about yet.

This new moon will be in tight conversation with Neptune in your tenth house of fame, so you may find the project you are working on will have you on TV, or you will receive other dazzling publicity. This assignment appears to involve speaking or writing, and thanks to Pluto’s angle, would pay well, too. Neptune will see to it that your creativity will be operating at peak levels, and you will also care about its visual presentation—the graphics, artwork, or other design elements, such as fonts. Those design elements seem to be part of your purview, and you will be doing lots of detail work.

Mars, as the month opens, will be making its final tour of Aquarius in your ninth house of travel, so you may be flying to a distant point in the first half of November. That would be a superb time for you to travel, for your journey is likely to go exceptionally well.

Once Mars gets to Pisces, November 15 to December 31, your career reputation will be in lights, and everyone will be buzzing about you. This will surely be an important period for you to showcase your talents, so that you can start to move ahead of the competition. You will easily garner the help from powerful higher-ups, and you will make a lasting, positive impression, proving that indeed, you are a rising star. It would be a fine time to do a publicity or advertising campaign. Set up meetings with VIPs, and also make proposals and presentations.

The new moon in Scorpio will also help you transform into a better, healthier version of yourself. If you have not been working out and know you would feel better if you did, get started after the new moon, November 7. Pluto will be in a superb angle to the Sun, a powerful aspect to help you make good progress in fairly short order. This would be a perfect time to get tests and screenings for your annual exam and to have your eyes tested to see if you need glasses or need your prescription changed.

Make an appointment with your dentist, too—your teeth affect your face. It’s been reported that bacteria often enters the body through bleeding gums, so healthy gums can keep you safe. An hour at the doctor or dentist could be life changing, so be sure to complete those visits before you get swept up in the coming holidays.

Venus is still retrograde, a holdover from last month, so you still should not make any radical changes to your appearance yet. You can get a haircut or do regular grooming, but make no radical changes in your appearance for now. This means do not have a facelift, Botox, or any untried, experimental dermatological treatments. Venus will turn direct on November 16, but her little brother Mercury will go retrograde that same day—November 16 until December 6.

If you can, wait to act on appearance matters until December, which would be best for you. Regarding business, you would be wise to delay an important business launch until after December 6 too, for Venus also affects the generation of profits, especially those derived from products and services related to women. You would need Venus to be strong under those circumstances.

    The full moon this month on November 22 will fall in Gemini, crystallizing a matter that is dearly important to you. Something is coming to fruition or a high point, and it will involve a relationship or venture close to your heart.

Usually I advise you to shop for holiday gifts in November each year, but this will be the first time Mercury won’t be retrograde during most of December, so wait to shop until next month. (Do you remember last year, with Mercury causing havoc with shopping and shipping, for Mercury was out of phase December 3-22 last year?)

This year, Mercury will be retrograde November 16 to December 6, so do all your shopping for a computer, automobile, smart phone, expensive headphones, a dishwasher, and other electronics after December 6. Mercury rules the moving parts in machines, including the electronic parts.

If you will be shopping for diamonds, rubies, emerald jewelry, or other precious gems, then wait until after Venus goes direct. Venus’ brother, Mercury, rules your judgment and thinking process, and it is often off when Mercury retrogrades. This is another reason to put off expensive purchases until after December 6.

This could be one of the most important months of the year for you, for Jupiter will make his move into Sagittarius on November 8, for the first time since November 2006 to December 2007. Jupiter is the giver of gifts and luck and will remain in your seventh house of marriage and business partnerships until December 2, 2019, a period of 13 months. Your seventh house rules all legal partnerships, for it is essentially a house of legal contracts between two people. Marriage is a contractual relationship, which is why it is found in the seventh house. You will be the sign most likely to marry in 2019.

To underscore this trend, the full moon will also be in Gemini, 1 degree, on November 22 and will bring something in your life to an apex. This will be a powerful full moon. It looks like something you want badly will come to fruition. Neptune might add confusion, and Mars could add a bit of criticism from a friend, but overall, this full moon seems to belong to you. A middleman—broker, agent, headhunter, partner, or even a company that is partnering with yours—appears to be responsible for your happy results. Also, your ability to communicate well will play a big part in your success now.

You might feel this full moon romantically, too. If you are dating someone you love, you may start to get serious about marrying soon. Wait until the holidays in December to announce your engagement, after Venus and Mercury are regulated.

Mercury will turn direct December 6 and be up to full power on December 24, but you can shop after December 6, just leave a space of as many days as you can muster between December 6 and the day you want to go shopping.

Also, at this full moon, November 22, Jupiter, newly minted in Sagittarius, will be conjunct that full moon and the Sun. If you are already attached in marriage, you will do exceptionally well through the efforts of your mate. If you are in a partnership or collaboration with a business partner, agent, manager, lawyer, accountant, writing partner, editor, wedding planner, or another person who works closely with you, you will find this person to be a gem. That person will have very good news for you this month.

If you want to take on an expert, such as someone who works in one of the fields listed above, and make things official by signing papers together, wait until after December 6. Your ruler is Mercury, and so I am not ever enthusiastic about acting before Mercury retrogrades—wait until it is over. You can always feel the oncoming onset of Mercury’s slowdown two weeks before it starts.

Keep in mind that you will have 13 months, until December 2, 2019, to enjoy the benefits of Jupiter in your partnership house. So whether you are getting married or are already married, or teaming up with an expert in business or already working together, you will find your partner brings you great financial luck in late 2018 and throughout the 11 months of 2019.

To demonstrate how fortunate you will be by working with a partner, Jupiter and the Sun will team up to bring you the luckiest day of the year, Sunday, November 25,and into Monday, November 26. Those who are already working with a collaborator or who are already married are in a position to benefit the most. This is because Mercury and Venus will be currently retrograde, so it’s not the time to join forces in a new , committed relationship this month. Anyone you have been working with, however, will prove to be a sparkling gem this month.

Jupiter and the Sun schedule a meeting once a year, every year, so this is their annual event, but each time they meet in a different sign—this time it’s Sagittarius. This won’t happen again in this sign for 12 years, which is why this aspect is so special. Use November 25 or November 26 to interview for a possible partner in your business. If you are married, talk about the future and a goal you can both work on together. These two days will demonstrate that when it comes to reaching a dream, think of “we” rather than “me” and do it together. For now through most of 2019, that’s your formula for success.

On November 27, lucky Jupiter will combine with Mercury, your ruler. You may hear from someone from the past and be happy to get the call or text. This particular aspect is a little flawed because Mercury will still be retrograde, but it could bring very happy news via someone from your past.

This aspect is also annual, but this time, Jupiter and Mercury will meet again on December 21, and by then, Mercury will be moving direct. December 21 will be your five-star day to sign a contract, travel, hand in a report or thesis (or defend one), give a speech, do a media interview, sign the work order on an app, buy a car, or do anything else related to communications or travel.

You have a very busy month in store, for your skills will be very much in demand in the workplace, and you won’t be short of fascinating assignments. If you are self-employed, you may be overwhelmed with how often the phone rings—you might need to hire help, so you may want to start collecting résumés. The new moon and Sun on November 7 will send a beam directly to Neptune, indicating that the projects you are working on will earn you acclaim. New moons are influential for ten days, so this is a great time to look for work or generate new business. If your industry often honors individuals for outstanding work, enter your name for an award—you could win and get flattering press to go with it.

This same new moon would be a superb time to begin an exercise routine. If you’ve taken a break from the gym, consider signing up on November 7 to get on track for a strong, fit body for 2019. In astrology, when you start an initiation, you give birth to that endeavor, and the aspects at play on that day will stay with you throughout the term of that endeavor. In terms of romance, if you are single, Venus will be in Libra, touring your fifth house of love, and in a lovely angle to Mars, to reach perfect harmony on November 9. The tricky part is that Venus will remain retrograde until November 16. This suggests you may change your mind about the person you are dating, and possibly do so more than once. To add to the confusion, Mercury, your ruler, will begin to retrograde on the very day Venus turns direct, and Mercury will be out of phase from November 16 to December 6. When you get to holiday time, you will have a much more stable platform to find love or celebrate the love you have already found.  

Bigger news involves the monumental move of good fortune planet Jupiter into Sagittarius on November 8 and staying until December 2, 2019, a period of 13 months. We have not seen Jupiter in Sagittarius since late 2006 through 2007. This change will make you the most likely sign to marry in the coming year, or if you are already wed, to benefit from your mate in an outstanding way in 2019.

Another way you can use this partnership energy is to see outstanding results when working with an expert on a collaborative basis. For example, you might sign an agent, publicist, job broker, home decorator, or other person who will work closely with you on a one-on-one basis. If you are the agent or represent others, then two clients under your purview will be a glittering gem and bring you profits and applause. (Sagittarius, the sign Jupiter is entering, is called a double-bodied sign—the centaur, half horse and half man, so therefore, two talents or two clients may be yours.)

The luckiest day of the year is an annual event that affects everyone of every sign, but for each sign, in different ways. On November 25-26, Jupiter will align with the mighty Sun. For you, Gemini, these two heavenly bodies will meet in your house of marriage and all committed partnerships, including business partnerships.

November 27 brings Mercury retrograde conjunct Jupiter, so someone of your past, in love or business may be in touch with you—the call will be intriguing, and only you can decide what to do. Mercury is your ruler, so this is an important, benefic aspect, but will be even better next month on December 21, when Mercury and Jupiter will meet one last time. Then Mercury will be moving strongly direct. Travel is outstandingly favored, and this day would be perfect for signing a contract, or for any communications-oriented venture.

Decide on how you will use this magical energy at play, especially on November 25 and November 26, to your advantage in any way you please. Keep in mind Mercury will go direct December 6, so plan, but hold back on pressing forward just yet. If you are returning to someone in your past or to an endeavor you almost launched previously, it will be very lucky for you to do so now—no waiting needed.
