Considering the time you've had lately, you could use a little fun. June appears to have all the right elements to put that smile back on your face, dear Libra, and maybe even a spring to your step. You have just entered a highly important turning point time of 2013, when real change is possible. The big news is that Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will change signs this month on June 25, and enter Cancer and your tenth house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame. The ancient astrologers used to call this "the house of dignity" where everyone sees you are doing well, and even your competitors would have to eventually tip their hats to you (and perhaps grudgingly admit you are doing really well). Your tenth house, where all your career action will be focused soon, is where the "12" would be on the face of a round clock - at the top of your chart.
This is big news, for many Libras have been tweeting away to me, "When will I find a new position? It's been so hard!" I know it has, dear Libra. Until now, you've had mostly challenges and precious little luck, and too little assistance from the outside, say, from friends or associates. You must be thinking, "Gee, I can't catch a break!" That should change now, having good fortune Jupiter in your most important career house. Any position you discuss in late June or July will be a step up from the one you had previously. Jupiter will remain with you in your top professional house until July 16, 2014, a little over twelve months.
The last time you had this kind of help for your career from Jupiter it was mid-2002 to mid-2003. Jupiter spends a year in each of the twelve houses, so it takes twelve years for him to return. Rare visits are usually quite special and memorable. You won't even start to see the beginnings of benefits from Jupiter's move into Cancer until next month, when the curtain on your life will go up. You can have the best-placed Jupiter, but without a new moon to make that planet accessible to you, it remains cordoned off, shining in front of you, but out of reach until the new moon pushes aside the velvet ropes to let you in. You will have that new moon coming next month on July 8, and it will be operative for two weeks. Get ready. Have your resume polished, and your reel or portfolio in top form. VIPs will come knocking.
In the meantime, you have a glorious new moon this month on June 8, at 18 degrees Gemini. If you can get away on a vacation in early to mid-June, do, for you need a little time to relax before you enter this formidable period. You'll be very busy pitching your experience and background in July and August, so in July, I won't want to hear that you will be away on a trip missing all the most juicy opportunities. (Remember, you will have Jupiter AND the new moon helping you in your career in July.)
If your birthday falls on October 11, plus or minus five days, you will feel the benefits of this month's new moon, June 8, the most. If you were not born at that time, and you have your natal chart, look to see if you have a planet at 18 degrees of Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius. That planet will be very lit up, so watch to see what happens. I can't tell you more about that, because everything depends on whether or not that particular planet (or the Sun or moon) is friendly to one or more planets in your natal chart. You will know soon enough. Keep little notes on what occurs when a new moon hits 18 degrees Gemini.
There is something else shaping up in the heavens that should give you a lot of cause for optimism. One of the features of 2013 is that a grand, golden triangle will appear in the sky as a set of planets will hold hands to form this shape of supreme harmony from various corners of the sky. This will be at play from June through early August, but be at its most special, tightest mathematical point in July, just when you need luck the most This month isn't, as they say, chopped liver either. It's sensational! Here is why:
Venus in your house of fame and honors will be shoulder to shoulder with Mercury in Cancer. (Venus is your ruler, so this tells me how important this career question is for you - in June you will be the darling of VIPs. If you already have a position you love, you may be doing some impressive projects that will help you make a name for yourself). Venus and Mercury will send a calm and stabilizing beam to Saturn in your house of earned in come, allowing you to build a sense of financial security. (I know that money has been a sore point lately for most Libras. If you have Taurus rising, perhaps not so much for you, but most Libras feel that they just HAVE to make more.) In turn, Saturn will beam to Neptune in your house of work projects, completing the third leg of the triangle, indicating you will have plenty of room to show off your original ideas. Neptune is the patron planet of the arts, and in a long visit (until 2026 - yes!) to your workaday project sector. Your ability show just how creative you can be is a trend that isn't ending any time soon.
This month, June, you have a new moon in your solar ninth house of foreign people and places, so you've got a superb month to plan a getaway to an exciting location. The new moon, June 8, will quickly, and possibly unexpectedly, set things in motion. Look at a map, and choose a location that would be truly exciting to visit. If you need to attend to getting a passport, green card, visa, or other citizenship matter, the new moon will help you get it done.
Uranus, now in your house of partner, will be very active at the new moon, in a friendly way, so your significant other may come home with tickets for an exciting trip, or it may be that your business partner announces he or she is about to crack a big business deal overseas, and together you need to go to see the client. If you can't travel, it is very possible that people from afar will come to you, and that you'll enjoy playing host to your city and talking over future plans over the many meals you will share together.
If you work in publishing or broadcasting, you will do exceedingly well in June, for the ninth house, so lit up in your solar chart as of the June 8, rules the dissemination of information. Advertising, publicity - anything communications oriented - will glitter and glow. In your case your burgeoning career will begin to show big signs of growth already this month and will grow further next month.
Keep in mind that before Jupiter moves over to Cancer and your career house on June 25, it will still reside in your ninth house, an area that rules foreign travel and other "ahhh" experiences. The ninth house is Jupiter's natural house, so he is comfortable here - you can absorb his goodness easily. Jupiter will take off any shutters of your mind that he finds, to let you see a wider, more panoramic view of life and of what is possible for your life. Jupiter's job is to expand everything he touches, and in this case, it is your perception and understanding of the world.
In this vein, you may also have amazing luck in terms of your academic pursuit. If you are enrolled in a university, and perhaps applying for courses, or taking qualifying exams this month, you should do well. The ninth house is also where court cases take place, so if you or the other side have an idea to solve the case, entertain an idea (or tender it to the other parties).
With the Sun, new moon, Jupiter, and Mars in fellow air sign Gemini, the world will be a friendly place this month. Rarely have you had this kind of cosmic support. Gemini energy is fast and windy - things that happen, particularly in the first two to three weeks, will happen in the blink of an eye.
There will be a few potholes, so I will point them out now. On the very day of the new moon this month, June 8, Mercury will be in hard angle (square) to Uranus. This is an unstable day, and certainly not a day to make a big, costly purchase. Wait a few days after that new moon to choose and pay for an electronic item or a car, or to close on a house, as a few examples. Mercury rules commerce - the buying and selling of goods and services - and with Uranus blocking the doorway, you might have problems with that particular purchase later and regret having made it.
Keep in mind too that as you get to the end of the month, Mercury will go retrograde on June 26 until July 20 in your house of career, the place that Jupiter will enter June 25 and the new moon will appear July 9. Rather than stop you in your career tracks, I feel Mercury in sleepy mode may help you. When any planet retrogrades, you are urged to go back to an earlier time and see if you would like to re-contact or re-energize a former situation. It may be time to go back to an old colleague to see if you can work together again. Or, you may want to contact old friends you've not talked to in a long time for tips, or even go back to a company you enjoyed working for, and see if you can work there again.
If you are in sales, go back to your long-term, best customers and see if you can develop more business with them, rather than keeping your eyes on new territory. As they say, 80 percent of your business comes from 20 percent of your list. You can go back to developing new territory at the end of July, but have a close look at your best ongoing clients to thank them and expand their business with you.
Another day to veer away from is June 12, when Venus, your ruling planet, will be in hard angle to Uranus. This day may bring a new job interview that does not go right, or an interaction with your boss or client that winds up to be a disaster. Fortunately you can do other things on this day, like routine paperwork or research.
Your living situation, real estate, or a family member (and if it turns out to be a family member, it would most likely be your parent) will be the subject of the full moon in Capricorn 2 degrees, June 23, plus or minus four days. Full moons bring things to a finish, so if you have been negotiating to lease, buy, or sell a house, you may reach an agreement now. See if you can tie things up before this full moon arrives, say, a few days prior, as you will be very close to Mercury retrograde, and I don't want you to sign any papers during that June 26 through July 20 period. In fact, I would like you to keep as much space from these days as is possible. If you sign while Mercury is retrograde, you may later regret your decision because the qualifiers you had used to make your decision were likely faulty - later you will see something you didn't know and wish you had waited before announcing your choice.
Because all full moons have a plus or minus four days associated with them, try to sign on June 19 or even a day earlier. Actually this brings me to my next very exciting news!
June 19 is due to be the luckiest day of the year! On that day, the Sun will have his annual dinner meeting with his colleague, the esteemed planet of good fortune, Jupiter. Each year these two distinguished old friends choose a different restaurant - a different house and sign of the zodiac - to meet. This year they will meet in Gemini, in your solar ninth house, the area of your chart that I was speaking about earlier at the top of your report. Obviously, this area is due to dazzle for you! This is, as mentioned earlier, among other things, a legal house, but lawyers are necessary when you deal with the buying and selling of property.
Moreover, now that Jupiter is at the very tail end of his visit to Gemini, if your Libra birthday falls between October 17 and 23, Jupiter will be in precise mathematical position to be of enormous help you, for the mathematical degrees of Jupiter are matching those of your natal Sun. This means you will be deliciously happy all month, and finally, you will be in line for some extraordinary lucky breaks.
Now, I need to explain that I have been watching this amazing meeting of the Sun and Jupiter over the years, and I see that it is imperative that you catch these two dignitaries as they are approaching each other - coming together, not leaving the restaurant, shaking hands, and going their separate ways. Even the difference of an hour can make a difference if these two luminaries have already met and are already starting to part. To make sure you get the timing right, here is some advice.
On June 19, Jupiter and the Sun will meet at noon (12:00 PM) in New York EDT. Check with the world clock online and see what time New York time translates into the time in your city on June 19. If you live, say, in Los Angeles or on the West Coast of the US, then this meeting of the Sun and Jupiter will take place at 9:00 AM. You had better stage a breakfast meeting at 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM if you hope to have a signing on this day.
If you live in Asia or Australia, this luckiest day of the year will move to June 20, as readers based far from the US often have one extra day to take advantage of the aspect. When you go on the world clock, you will see this to be true.
When an aspect is coming together, climbing up the bell curve, just before it peaks, it is strong. For that reason, I also like Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18. Consider using one of these two days as well. Ironically, both days have the moon in Libra. (I told you a few days ago on Twitter (@AstrologyZone) that you would love this month! Are you starting to believe me?) On all three days you are still a distance away from the start of Mercury retrograde, June 26.
I also like Sunday, June 16, for a different reason. On that day, Mars in Gemini will signal Uranus in Aries in a very friendly way. I feel this day won't have anything to do with the home / family situation we were discussing just now, but could be a weekend (June 15-16) that brings fun, spontaneous travel, or the trip home after a fun vacation time away. This weekend does deserve a gold star.
As you see, you have some very important things on your mind in June, but things should go your way, dear Libra. Finally, things are starting to click into place. You are not all alone. The universe has been testing you, but this month, it appears if you stay alert, show your determination, and remain on the lookout for the opportunities that come your way, you will be able to start to turn the tide in your favor.
Are you all done with challenges? No, but you knew that already. (Actually September-born Libra are truly done, for Uranus has already passed the most difficult degrees for early-born Libra, especially in terms of challenges to an important relationship or concerning the welfare of that person, or else in regard to your health. What all Libras need most is a door to open, even a crack, so that you could wedge it open wider, with a crowbar if necessary. You will get that in June, and concerning your career, that too should improve in months ahead. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, so Jupiter expresses its gifts best in this sign - it is Jupiter's favorite sign to get the most of his beneficial work done. You have so much to be excited about.
Once Venus, your ruling plant, moves out of your lofty career sector (solar tenth house) on June 27, Venus will go into Leo. This is great, because this says at month's end you'll enter into a much more social period - August looks wonderful and will bring balance to this month, where you'll have bigger things, like home and career, to think about. In early June, you do have the chance to travel, and being away from home always makes love more delicious. Keep the faith, dear Libra, for much better days are due.

June, as the song goes, is bursting out all over, and it's time to take the shutters off your eyes and see the world in all its panoramic beauty. With four heavenly bodies in your ninth house of adventure, travel, and learning, do all that you can to take time off to visit a new location. If your long trip turns out to be for professional reasons, you will still enjoy your time away.
Speaking of your work life, your career will start to sparkle, thanks to a rare configuration in the shape of a glittering triangle that will appear in the heavens starting now, in June, and last until early August. Saturn, Neptune, Venus, and Mercury this month will join hands to create this rare cosmic event in all water signs, linking your areas of work projects, salary, and house of fame, applause, and honors. It may alternatively be that your venture will center on a publishing or broadcasting project, and anything having to do with the media will be favored. Next month you will see more and bigger career developments - all very surprising in the way they come up and in the news that is delivered. Jupiter is heading to your fame and honors sector for a year's stay (the BIGGEST news of all this month, starting June 25), so from now on, with effort, it's onward and upward for you, dear Libra.
Next month you'll be much MORE consumed with professional developments - if you can, take a vacation or business trip now. Your partner may balk at the idea of traveling now (seems so); so if you really want to go, venture out alone or with a friend.
A home situation is about to reach critical mass on June 23, plus or minus four days. You may be moving - perhaps due to changes in your career - or renovating because your evolving career will make it possible to launch an expensive renovation plan. Or, you may settle a question about a roommate or be called into action to help a parent. Whatever happens at June's end, you seem to have things completely under control.
