Libra Forecast for July 2015

The month starts off with a beautiful coming together of beauty and luxury planet Venus and good fortune Jupiter on July 1. This once-a-year event will make everyone, of every sign, happy for different reasons, but you will enjoy this cosmic event more than most, for Venus is your guardian planet.
These two glittering planets will meet in your house of friendship and fun, so you are likely to hear from friends on this day or in the days that closely follow, and you can plan a special night out. You may attend a wedding or other celebration, or receive a beautiful, pampering experience. Other good news you may hear as the month opens include good news from your bank about a loan or mortgage you applied for lately, a check that a client will send your way, or a trip that you are about to take to a very beautiful location.
On the same day, July 1, your home or family will be your focus, for the full moon at 10 degrees Capricorn will light the area of your chart that governs those matters. This is a joyous full moon, and although you may have work to do at the office at the same time and feel pulled in two directions, you will need to give your best energies to your home space. You may find that this is moving day, and if so, you've chosen the best time of the year to schedule that move. It says to me that you will love your new home, whether you rent or buy, or hope to sell property on this day.
It's alternatively possible you will see that a renovation is reaching an end point and will love the results. You may be giving a party at home (or in your back yard) within four days of July 1, or completing a long repair project. Neptune will be beautifully oriented, so if you need to make design choices, you will be decisive and be able to show your flair for home decorating in a big way.
If you need to work further on your home or other property you might own, or address a family matter, you will have two superb days to announce your decision, July 21, when the Sun and Saturn will be in sync, and July 22, when Mercury will work with Saturn. Saturn stabilized all it touches, especially when nicely angled, as Saturn will be at this time. Use one of these dates to make a decision you hope will be in place a very long time.
You may hear from a friend on July 2 or July 3, and either day would be the right time to travel to get together.
If you do plan to take a vacation, plan to back at home base by July 15, when the new moon in Cancer 23 degrees will appear in your house of fame and honors and bring opportunity you can take advantage of in your career. Often a new moon in the tenth house (a once-a-year event) would unlock the best opportunity of the year for professional advancement, but this year, the new moon seems to be under stress from Uranus, the planet of unexpected developments.
In one manifestation of this, you may be shocked about how the person who represents you chooses to discuss your skills to the industry. This troublesome person might be your agent or headhunter, as two examples. You may ask this person - the agent who is calling others in the industry to get you the job - to check in with someone you know (unbeknown to your agent) who is pretending to be a VIP with a big job opportunity. This way you can find out precisely how your agent is portraying your experience and qualifications to others.
In a different manifestation, your spouse may be upset that you are interested in looking for a better position, and worry that you won't have enough time to cater to the family. It's hard enough to win a job, but to have to do battle with your partner who wants to keep you at the status quo level makes it next to impossible. In this case, you will have to have a sit down with your partner to outline all the reasons why getting the top job will benefit everyone after the initial period is over. You will have to become familiar with new names and all that will be expected of you, but you will be in the saddle soon, feeling comfortable and managing more, in short order.
The third of many possible examples might be that you find out that you will have quite a bit of the competition, and feel a little overwhelmed. It is possible that the race for this top job will be fierce and more than you had ever assumed it would be. If this is the case for you, don't be deflated. Others don't have your superb aspects for a new job like you do. You can overcome the competition if you do thorough research on the company you are pitching, and practice with various questions you will be asked with friends or family ahead of time.
You should march forward toward getting that better job, no matter what the obstacles, for a new moon is very powerful, and you may be able to overcome these difficulties. While it is true that Uranus is a planet that you cannot outguess, for it always brings up a condition you would never think about, this planet will keep you flexible and on your toes. You've had this kind of situation before, and you either overcame those obstacles or learned from the situation. It may be that you are more than ready to take this planet on!
Venus will go retrograde from July 25 to September 6, a rare situation, for it only happens approximately every two years. Venus is your guardian planet, which is why you might feel this retrograde more than most. If you have already seen your personal plans stagnate, it's possible because you would feel Venus slow down several weeks before and after the formal retrograde. In this case, Venus will technically go direct September 6, but won't be in top form until October 9.
Venus will retrograde in in your friendship house, so you may enjoy seeing friends you've not seen in ages, a perfect time to do so. The flip side to Venus retrograde can be handled in simple ways - do not make any radical changes to your appearance, such as to cut your hair from very long to very short, to completely change the color, buy hair extensions, or to schedule Botox or other plastic surgery. When Venus is retrograde, she's weak, and so you won't have Venus' strong vibrations to help make the changes a success. When we talk about your face, you would want Venus to be strong and vibrant.
You can schedule routine grooming appointments such as to have a trim or to touchup your color, but it is the radical shifts in appearance that I would like you to put off. Men, this is not the time to grow a beard or shave one off.
Venus rules fun and celebrations, so during her retrograde period, it would not be the time to have a big, lavish party or charity fundraiser, and it would not be advised to get engaged during this time (July 27 to September 6) either. Venus rules all the parts of life that embellish - flowers, jewels, perfume, wine, spas, and so forth. So, for example, because Venus retrograde represents a no-frills time of the year, you might want to delay your weeklong visit to a spa or landscaping your property with flowers.
You will like the friendly full moon that will end the month, July 31, in Aquarius at 8 degrees. It has all happy elements to it and will light your house of pure love and romance. Because it's a full moon, you will experience heightened emotions - delightfully so. If you and your spouse hope for a pregnancy or to adopt a baby, you may also see a development that cheers you at this full moon.
Some Libra are highly creative, and if that describes you (including any of the arts, as well as acting), you may be celebrating the successful finish of an important project. That is because the fifth house is not only about love, but also about artistic expression.
If your birthday falls within four days on October 1, you will get a double dip of pleasure form this new moon. If you have your natal chart, see if you have any natal planet, the Sun or natal moon, or ascendant within five degrees of 8 degrees in Aquarius, Gemini, Libra, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, for you will benefit from this gorgeous full moon as well.
Summary
The first three weeks of July will be a critical time for making a name for yourself in your career, so if you are serious about finding a new and more prestigious position, you will need to start lining up interviews. You will have competition, as the new moon July 15 will bring unexpected challenges from Uranus. If you do try for a new job, do your homework on the company you are interested in joining, as you won't want to look uninformed when the interviewer asks a question related to the current direction the company has recently announced it will be taking.
Also, make sure the person who represents you is doing so in a way that pleases you. Ask friends to pose as VIPs with a top position to fill and see how she or he portrays you.
Before you can address your career goals, the full moon on July 1 will bring up a home or family matter that you'll need to attend to quickly. This full moon will be mixed in outlook, and you may be frustrated by your present boss' unhappiness with your need to quickly take your concentration away from your job to attend to all that comes up at home. You may also need to spend a substantial amount of money near July 1 to fix your family or property related situation, and because Saturn is back in Scorpio and your income sector, finances may be a bit tight.
A fine day to announce a home-related decision will be July 21, when the Sun and Saturn will work together perfectly, and Saturn will lend long-term benefits. It would be an ideal day to close on a house or sell one, or to sign a lease. If you cannot act on this day, you will also like the following day, July 22, when Mercury will work with Saturn, also a perfect day to sign papers.
On the same day as the month's first full moon, July 1, you will have a stellar aspect that will involve your ruler, Venus, conjunct good fortune Jupiter. This is a gorgeous pairing of two benefic planets, and they will meet in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, events, and friendships. It's very likely a close friend will invite you to a gathering - a picnic or barbeque, dinner, or cocktail party. If so, go, as you will enjoy this event to the fullest. Alternatively, you may get special help from a friend that will touch your heart.
Venus will retrograde from July 25 to September 6, and you will feel the shutdown of Venus more than other signs because Venus is your guardian planet. (Venus rules Taurus too.) Be sure to make your most vital moves prior to July 25, or wait until after Venus goes direct, September 6 - or better yet, after October 9. You may find that your progress on any personal goal is stymied during this period but if so, view all as temporary. Watch in particular the days that circle July 25 when that setback may come up, but if you analyze what went wrong, you can change your strategy or refine the area that can be improved and forge ahead after October 9, when Venus will be super-strong, to set things right again.
Notwithstanding Venus retrograde, the month's second full moon, July 31, should bring a romantic moment to celebrate. This full moon is due to make you very happy and emotionally over the top, for your friends and one special person will still have a strong and positive presence at month's end. You seem to have a lot of work at the office to do at the same time, however, and you may feel continually held back with pressing demands there. It may feel like for every two steps forward, you make one step back. Knowing this, plan to be as productive as possible in the weeks before June 25. Rather than leave things to the last minute to do on a current assignment, get a head start on it. This full moon, falling on a Friday, suggests you can still have time to kick up your heels for a romantic night (or entire weekend) with your one-and-only.

The full moon in Capricorn 10 degrees on July 1 will bring a home, property, or family matter to culmination and a finish.
The meeting of Jupiter and Venus on July 1 in Leo will bring you so many benefits - you may go to a party and see many friends; receive a substantial check; be approved for a mortgage or cash for your company, thanks to a venture capitalist; or take an out-of-the-ordinary vacation.
July 2 and July 3 will be great days to travel or to sign paperwork, especially on July 3 when Mercury and Saturn will be in sync.
On July 6, your boss or client may be cranky and a bit self-absorbed. Do not use this day for an interview, performance review, or sales pitch.
Show off your creativity at work on July 8 when you will hit a home run.

The new moon of July 25 in Cancer, 23 degrees, will light your prestigious tenth house of career. Despite obstacles, go after the prize you hope to win in the two weeks that follow. Mars will also oppose Pluto, so you will encounter competition for the position, but you can deal with that - you have good enough aspects to win the job you want.
On July 25, Venus will go retrograde until September 6, introducing a no-frills trend. Avoid big changes to your appearance, and put off big, expensive parties until after September 6, but better yet, after October 9.
The month's full moon on July 31 will bring a lively episode in matters of the heart. This full moon has no untoward aspects, so you should love this period, plus or minus four days. Emotion will run high, and delightfully so, and matters having to do with creativity, pregnancy, and children will make you very happy too.
