Travel is written all over your chart, but the full moon, March 31 in Libra 11 degrees, which appeared only one day prior to the start of April, will still be strong for four days. A buildup of planets in Capricorn in the shadows of your chart – the twelfth house – is creating problems for you, not only in regard to travel, but also for deals you are trying to negotiate. If you feel finding accord seems to be near impossible, it probably is, but this situation is only temporary.
Last month I had talked about that March 31 full moon that lit your ninth house of distant travel. I said that it would be not a favorable time to go and to delay the trip if possible. This same area of the chart, your ninth house, also rules legal matters, your efforts to get an advanced degree in college or graduate school, and the media, in terms of publishing and broadcasting projects. All of these areas were at the end of March (or will be in the first four days of April) difficult. You will likely encounter obstacles that might not be easy to unravel.
Libra, the place of that full moon, blends well with Aquarius, so if anyone can find a way to turn the tables of this tricky full moon to your favor, it is you. If your birthday falls on January 28 plus or minus four days, you will have the strongest chance of prevailing over hurdles. The same is true if you have Aquarius rising 10 degrees, or the natal moon in Aquarius 10 degrees, in both cases, plus or minus five degrees.
To make matters more tricky, as you begin April, Mercury, the planet of communication will still be retrograde, a trend that started March 22 and will continue until April 15. Miscommunications will create havoc, and you (along with the rest of us) will be beset with delays. Mercury will retrograde in your other travel sector, in Aries, covering the solar third house of short-distance travel. This same house rules communication, computer code, contracts, and so forth. If you are writing new software or working on an app or new website, allow extra time and money for the project.
Keep in mind when any planet turns direct it is not yet at full power. Like some people who are groggy when they wake up, little planets like Mercury are tipsy, too. It is never wise to jump on important initiations the day after Mercury goes direct because Mercury is simply not in a position to help you. In fact, Mercury acts his wildest and most uncontrollable on the day he goes retrograde and the day he goes direct, in this case March 22 and April 15.

Aquarius loves electronic items more than any other sign, but I have to caution you not to buy a new computer, car, smart phone, TV, a kitchen appliance, vacuum cleaner, sewing machine, or any other machine with moving parts, gears, or electronics until later in the month – doing so on April 23 would be ideal.
I love April 23 as one of the best days of the month because transiting Mars in Capricorn will receive golden vibrations from Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck. This day can be used for other purposes, and I will return to this date later.
First we come to the month’s new moon on the same day as Mercury goes direct, April 15 in Aries, 26 degrees. This new moon will light the same part of your solar chart as I had referred to in terms of Mercury retrograde, regarding your solar third house, for Mercury happens to be currently moving through the same house. The third house is about travel, but it is also about written and verbal communication, all negotiation, contracts, telecommunications, computer code, email, postal mail, couriers, and so forth. This is where you may have to expect glitches, delays, but also unexpected developments.
I say this because the new moon comes with Uranus conjunct the Sun (exact on April 18 but considered part of the new moon of April 15). This makes the new moon quite unstable. News could be outstanding and exciting or not please you at all. This is because Uranus is the planet of unanticipated developments that come like bolts out of the blue. Uranus covers the entire spectrum, so sometimes surprises will be positive, and sometimes not at all.
I have thought a lot about this planet, and I have come to the conclusion that God created Uranus to keep us on our toes – flexible and adaptable, as well as innovative and imaginative. Life forces us to outwit obstacles, and by doing so we use our brainpower, bringing confidence, strength, and experience.
Uranus is Aquarius’ ruling planet, so you are the best zodiac sign of all 12 to know the right way to deal with this planet. Generally, as an Aquarian, you tend not to like it when things become too predictable – Uranus can be counted on to shake things up. You won’t be bored this month, that’s for sure. This month you will be able to test the limits of your flexibility and apply imaginative solutions. They don’t call Uranus the planet of genius for nothing! You have plenty to live up to – because you CAN.
You will be one of Venus’ favorites starting April 24, and she will work hard to make sure you have fun. If single, Venus will see that you win admiring glances from those who will want to know you better. At long last, love!
After a month of trying to deal with vacillating, unpredictable clients and colleagues, you may long for stability. That is coming, but again there is a twist. Let’s now turn to the state of your career.
You have one of the best full moons of 2018 for your career on April 29, but it is not entirely perfect. It is a full moon in Scorpio, 10 degrees, lighting your tenth house, so if you have been interviewing for a prestigious position, your timing is right. That full moon will light your solar tenth house of honors, awards, and achievements and because full moons bring final answers, you may finally find out if you got the new position. This may be the moment that you get the offer.
I love that Saturn, the planet of rock-solid stability, will be in perfect angle to the Sun, which rules your partnership sector. This tells me that your headhunter / job broker will be very useful in getting you the opportunity.
You have Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, in your tenth house of fame, making this year the finest of the past twelve years to get ahead in your chosen specialty. So much of what you’ve accomplished in your past twelve years is coming to culmination soon – the reward will be that great new job. Jupiter and Pluto will be in ideal mathematical conversation – a sextile, meaning opportunity – on April 14, but you don’t need these two Titans of the solar system to be in precise aspect. They move so slowly that they will be within orb all month, ready to help you get generous compensation.
A big feature of 2018 was to be the unusual and positive relationship between Jupiter and Pluto. These two planets made their first definitive communication on January 15 and will make their next one this month on April 14. After this, they will make one more on September 12. After that we all will lose this powerful aspect, but we have plenty of time until we get to September.
Aquarius is the only sign with this aspect linking a distinguished high-level position with a hefty salary. Jupiter and Pluto when in aspect form one of the most powerful of all signatures of career success in a chart. Both are financial planets, so the offer should be very generous.
However, this week, reading my Facebook page (Susan Miller’s Astrology Zone) and my Twitter feed (@Astrologyzone) I see that many Aquarian readers are nevertheless puzzled about why they can’t seem to break through and win that big job. The messages were clear, and I realized I had to look deeper.
Pluto will be in hard angle to that full moon, April 29, and this concerns me. This aspect is associated with unfairness, strong-arm demands, and possible underhanded tactics. I was thinking about your chart for two hours before I felt sure about what I am about to say to you here. With Mars, Saturn, and Pluto – quite a strong gang of three – in your twelfth house of behind the scenes shadows, I am wondering if a secret enemy is preventing your progress.
At month’s end, you seem to have a secret competitor who will apparently stop at nothing to beat you out to get the job you want. I know this can be overwhelming to hear, and I thought long and hard before telling you any of this. Yet I see the frustration and exasperation in the messages of Aquarian readers who write to me on social media. Quietly check out what I am saying, and if I am wrong, you can eliminate that as the impediment to your getting the job you have your heart on.
Specifically, I would like you to ask a friend – a mature, high level executive who regularly checks references – to make calls to your list of references that you give your prospective employers. Your friend, male or female, will pretend that you applied for a job in your friend’s company and is just interested in what each person has to say about you. I think that someone is either deliberately or unconsciously holding up your progress to get the top job that you deserve.
Here is why I say that. You have three big planets stacked up the behind the scenes secret twelfth house sector – Saturn, Mars, and Pluto. Mars will leave this place on May 15, but the other two planets will remain there for a long time. You’ve had Pluto there since 2008, so this is not the first time you may have encountered the possibility that someone was working at cross purposes to your aims. I am so sorry to have to even suggest this possibility.
You have such a gleaming chart, so perfect for being given a job of great prestige, responsibility, and power, that theoretically it should be easy for you to make your ascent to the top. I need you to do a little intel in this area, because your professional future is at stake. Just one person on your list of references can cast doubt in a prospective employer and spoil the pudding.
There is another suggestion. Saturn will be in hard angle to Mercury on April 5 and April 25. Mercury rules social media, and all companies now regularly comb thorough an applicant’s social media pages to see what the applicant posts. Be very careful about what you write and how you say things, including your grammar. That is all I can say. Be assured, VIPs will read your posts.
It goes without saying that Mercury rules contracts too, so sign nothing until late month – I like April 23. Mars, the energy planet, will be meeting with Jupiter in your prestigious career sector, creating a strong link between the top job and the compensation offered. You can reach accord on the right salary and benefits package.
If you are given the prize job on April 29 (possible!) you may not have to sign anything until May. Good!
Here is more good news – you have another boost from Jupiter in your tenth house of fame and honors, for he is now in ideal angle to Neptune in your house of salary. Neptune is associated with creativity, imagination, vision, and the arts, so if you work in a creative job, or with creative people as part of support staff, you also have every reason to believe you will be offered a solidly generous salary. Jupiter and Neptune will remain in good communication all month, but especially at month’s end. These planets will stay in touch in future months too.
In matter of love, you also have some razzle dazzle coming in late month. Venus will visit fellow air-sign Gemini from April 24 until May 19, and during that time, Venus will glide through your fifth house of true love. Magnificent! This is a perfect place for Venus to fire up fun. Your chances to find lasting, genuine love will improve even more in May and June.
In the meantime, use Venus in Gemini starting April 24 to buy some beautiful new clothes and to find ways to bring out the unique qualities of your appearance. If you do, you will feel like a million dollars when you step out
Having Venus in Gemini will bring out your charms, and you won’t have to do much to invite love. Venus teaches the value of being simply you, and not trying too hard to get others’ attention.
You will find that having Venus in Gemini will also be an asset during job interviews – that little bit of silvery dust that Venus will shower you with will give you just the right charm and sense of humor to get any company to want you to come back for more interviews.
You do have an entire arsenal of planetary support to help you get that job, so don’t give up. Keep the faith and keep working hard for what should be yours!
SUMMARY
The eclipses in Leo and Aquarius have recently come by, so changes are afoot in your life. As you begin April, you might want to take a trip to a faraway location so that you can mull over all the coming changes you want to make. By being out of your usual environment, you will have a sense of peacefulness to study all sides of the situation. The problem is, the full moon of March 31, strong for four days, will be fraught with problems, so if you can hold that thought and go next month, it might be best.
At work, you are golden, but competitors seem to have come to that conclusion too, and some competitors in the shadows may be finding ways to take credit for your work. While you should not become paranoid that there are others out to get you, it would be wise to keep your antenna up to watch the actions of those around you. Your intuition will be quite strong and act as your protector, so if you sense something is off, investigate.
Be careful about what you post on all your social media venues, because as you go through your various interviews, you will be judged by prospective employers by all that you write.
Finally, have a friend call to pretend you are applying for a job at your friend’s company to find out what your references are saying about you. Choose a high level, mature VIP person to do the calling for you and then get the final report. If you need to take a name off your list of references, it’s best to know! As said, you are currently in a golden professional period in most of 2018, so this way you will be giving yourself the best chance possible to be given the top prize job.
Mercury will be retrograde until April 15, a holdover from March 22, so go the extra mile to be sure what you hear is the intended message. Similarly, look at your own written documents, and the words you use when speaking, as to not give the wrong impression. It seems that people around you will be making snap judgments, the reason the care you take to transmit your thoughts clearly and accurately will be so important.
The new moon of April 15 will bring a lot of business, meetings, emails, and overall communication. If you have not been privy to secret activities, done by just about anyone in your life, you are likely to get a full information download soon now.
Creatively you will be on a roll, for Uranus, your ruler, planet of genius, will conjoin the Sun on April 13 and infuse many days mid-to-late month with your ingenuity. You seem to work best with a partner, such as an agent, writing partner, headhunter, and the like.
This is certainly a landmark month for you professionally, for the full moon on April 29, strong for a plus or minus four days, will bring you a promotion, new job offer, new prestigious client (if self-employed), or outstandingly positive publicity. Saturn will be comforting and strong, ensuring that any new victory will be in place a long time.
Still, you need to stay aware of what is going on around you, for competitors will be out and about, and I am sad to say not everyone plays fair. Keep your eyes open and enlist friends to clear up any mystery about why you may not be getting the job you want. We always feel there is a level playing field, but that is not always the case.
Here is an example. Sometimes the Human Resources Department has to list a job that secretly they have already awarded to a friend of the company. They list the job due to company policy, but this tactic is still not fair, for it cruelly sets up false hopes. Alas, this happens, and there isn’t much we can do about it, but knowing will protect your heart and your feelings about your abilities. I am on your side, dear Aquarius.
Although your mind will be on your career most of the time – the place it should be to make the most progress – you will have time for love at months’ end. Venus will glide through your true love sector while in Gemini, a perfect sign for you, from April 24 to May 19
