- 英文正字法才是怪怪的那個

- 因為英文在發展的過程中，還受到了法文影響。英文的發音困難程度其實不輸愛爾蘭文，太多拼音沒有規則性了。可以搜尋「The Chaos」這首詩。

- 英文是集合了例如意大利文、西班牙文、葡萄牙文、法文等等，各種在歐洲流行使用的語言，根據一般人普遍使用習慣，慢慢融匯貫通而成的一套語言。

- 他們沒看過吉力吉撈鞏冠的名字嗎？

- 相較於愛爾蘭文，Giljegiljaw Kungkuan已經是非常符合拉丁拼音的了。（相較之下，漢語拼音與通用拼音也讓些歐語系的人很頭痛，因為清濁不分，[p t k]用b d g來表示，卷舌[z]用r表示等等）

  愛爾蘭文之所以「看到的不等於發音」，主要是因為太多「歷史性殘留了」，簡化來說：拼音並沒有隨著發音的改變而有變化。

- 這拼音的方式跟英文差太多了，難怪愛爾蘭要獨立

- 日本還有「小鳥遊」這個姓氏

  發音是鷹無的發音，但是卻寫作小鳥遊。

- M不發音，H=F😅

- 不是不發音，而是m或b接了h之後，當作[w]或[v]發音。

- H是不是發f的音？

- 不是。h代表要音變，像是ch讀[x]（ㄏ，華語「好」的聲母），而bh與mh讀 [w]或[v]（依照腔調或後方街的母音而有差異）。

- 說Ridiculous 其實很把自己放在傲慢的文化本位，儘管是節目效果

- 最無言的是Saoirse自己也說Ridiculous，他完全是用一個英語思維在看自己的名字。不過也不奇怪就是了，因為她的母語似乎沒有愛爾蘭語。

- 主持人自以為是，完全不尊重别人的名字，也没有研究的心。他自己的名字（Stephen Colbert）如果不用心唸，聽起來也就是個「靠北」罷了。

- 最難過的是連Saoirse本人也用了英文拼音的思維，認為自己的名字拼音「荒謬」（Ridiculous）。🤦

  類似的狀況之前發生在Luke Evans上，但Saoirse Ronan的狀況更為嚴重。

【筆記】其實愛爾蘭語的拼音也不是特別奇怪的，英文也很不符合拉丁拼音的直覺，只是因為我們從學生時代甚至小時候就開始接觸英文所以已經習慣了。

台灣人大多只知道英文拼音。羅馬拼音比較是指拉丁文、台文、日文等語言所使用的系統。（大概除了j不讀[j]而是[d̠ʒ]、ch不讀[x]而是[t̠ʃ]，基本上大部分的發音都還滿直覺的。）

網友這種就是標準的無知，就因為缺乏母語教育以及只知道英文，看到p t k都度ph th kh，然後bdg與ptj不分。

單論ts，也是羅馬拼音，應該是比較早期的。

首先要說的是：訪談裡的發音大都還是用英文發音（或說英語人士對該名字的認知與發音），而不是原本愛爾蘭的發音。

像是Niamh不論讀[nʲiəvˠ]或[n̠ʲiəw]，都有個[ə]，但影片中卻是讀[niːv] Neev。

或是Caoimhe [ˈkiːvʲə]變成[ˈkwiːvə] Kweeva。

其實懂得愛爾蘭文拼音的基本規則之外，大部分的都很好懂：
