惜的是從北到南，不乏這種很有特色風格的老店，但沒有稍事整修或加以宣傳，反而被留下老舊破損的負評。
但我發現自己是一廂情願的，經營者的真正想法好像並不如此。

首先他們要面對的，自然是高速公路興起後，過去台一線的縱貫路，旅人現已不再「縱」、更沒有「貫」了；少了旅客，除了大甲、北港等話題性地區外，沒有附近吸引人的景點搭配，光靠一個「復古」能吸引多少人？

或許他們已經有所考慮了，所以多數都是以不變應萬變的心態面對明天，「後龍旅社」林小姐說，雖然是她在負責一切事務，但長輩不想動，她也沒辦法。「萬龍旅社」的郭先生是第三代了，30出頭的他也想有一番不同的做為，但經營權在父母手中，爸媽只想「穩穩的做」，他也無可奈何。

這也許是他們種種無奈的其中之一。總之，這是我這個完全不懂旅館學的徒步旅者所見到的，雖不能改變什麼，但對我而言，見識到這些，卻是雙腳踏過這800多公里後的一大收穫。

英國醫師建議，經常戴、拔隱形眼鏡除容易讓眼睛發炎外，也會讓眼周皮膚鬆弛。聯合報系資料照片

大家為了抗老，除了會認真塗抹緊緻抗老霜，還會花大把時間上健身房維持年輕身形，不過其實是你日常生活中的習慣，在不知不覺之中加速老化的過程。

英國每日郵報報導，英國各領域的頂尖醫師根據自己多年來的執業經驗，分享其終極抗老秘方。

● 1. 扔掉你的隱形眼鏡

英國著名眼科醫師巴森（Allon Barsam）指出，戴隱形眼鏡會以多種形式讓眼睛老化。首先，戴隱形眼鏡或多或少會引發眼瞼炎，造成眼周紅腫發炎、眼白混濁。

另外經常戴上、拔下隱形眼鏡可能會讓眼周皮膚鬆弛，硬式鏡片會較難從眼睛表面取下，長久下來會造成支撐上眼皮的肌肉疲乏下垂。

● 2. 遠離城市，到鄉下更健康

美容整形外科醫師帕特森（Mervyn Patterson）表示，待在市中心會暴露在大量汙染之中，這跟加速老化的關聯日漸密切。不少證據顯示，空汙傷害皮膚，而且與臉部皮膚的色素沉澱和皺紋有密切關係。

交通工具的柴油排放中有微塵粒子，可滲入皮膚引發發炎反應，最後造成色素沉澱。

其中一個辦法就是遠離繁雜交通，搬到空氣比較乾淨的郊外。另一個方法就是使用可中和汙染又可抗紫外線的隔離霜，其中含有鋅、鈦、氧化鐵和、發炎添加物，可減緩皮膚不適反應。

● 3. 脫掉平底鞋

足部專家可汗（Tariq Khan）說，許多人以為平底鞋是「安全選擇」，但其實平底鞋跟超高跟鞋一樣糟糕，因為穿平底鞋時，你的足部會在平坦的表面上承受重量。

人類演化時赤腳走路，但是因為當時我們在軟地上行走，足部可以印壓在泥土上，可將重量和壓力重新分配到雙腳上。但現在人類幾乎都走在堅硬平坦的地面上，腳無法壓印，因此我們需要一點高度的鞋跟自然蹬步，理想高度大約一吋半（3.81公分）。

如果長期穿平底鞋，會對足底的軟組織和肌肉造成傷害，像是足底筋膜炎或腳後跟疼痛。而且因為腳底肌肉接連骨頭，更會直接讓骨頭變形，造成拇指外翻，甚至可能讓腳後跟骨折。

穿平底鞋沒有足弓支撐，還可能使膝蓋、臀部和背部感到疼痛，進而影響姿勢，讓人駝背看起來更加顯老。

● 4. 快關掉你的強力吹風機

停經後婦女因為賀爾蒙改變，經常會有髮量稀疏減少的情況。皮膚科醫師維琪‧裘利夫（Vicky Jolliffe）建議，雖然用吹風機朝頭髮根部吹，可能頭髮看起來更蓬鬆，髮量豐厚，但千萬別這麼做。

頭髮濕的時後相當脆弱，若這時近距離用熱風吹髮，可能傷害纖維造成斷髮，反而讓你更起來髮量更少。這時建議使用有冷風的吹風機，或者先用毛巾用髮上的水珠擦乾。

若擔心髮量稀少，除諮詢專業醫師外，也可使用醫療用洗髮精，降低發炎反應、改善頭皮狀況等。

● 5. 去牙醫診所洗個牙吧！

牙醫馬格斯（Richard Marques）提醒，滿口黃牙不僅看起來顯老，如果少了牙齒，可能會讓臉型凹陷。而且就算牙齒沒掉，骨質密度也可能降低，這會讓臉更瘦長下垂。

這是老化的自然現象，牙齦會隨時間萎縮，一旦牙齦退化，底下的骨頭也會加快萎縮，因此牙齦健康不容小覷。這代表定期看牙醫、洗牙、維持口腔健康相當重要。

萬一細菌留在牙齒縫內，你可能會得牙齦相關的疾病。洗牙不會大幅磨損牙齒，只會稍微融解洗掉表面汙垢、清洗牙縫。

● 6. 寫日記活絡腦袋

臨床諮詢心理學家雪萊（Richard Sherry）表示，研究顯示，心理和情緒壓力對人的外表有直接影響，可直接加速老化的速度；所以他鼓勵在生活中建立實際的抗壓習慣。

大家都可以做的就是寫日記，在心理學術語稱作「反思日記」。把心情寫下來有助了解情緒，可以讓情緒化的反應面對理性分析，平衡理性與感性。

寫日記可幫助控制情緒、活絡腦袋，也用於治療憂鬱症病患、邊緣性人格障礙或創傷後壓力症候群。
