沒錯，鳳山人表示：「誰跟你高雄人？我鳳山人啦！」

別人問住哪裡的時候會說「我住鳳山」不會說住高雄，去合併前的高雄市會說「我要去市區」。然後五甲人當然也是五甲人，和鳳山人沒關係ㄛ。

只是想補充趣事：高雄不像臺北有明顯的區域階級導致很多新北人、甚至住桃園每天通勤的假裝自己是臺北人。

在高雄各地有各地的次認同，左楠至今不少人會「要出門去高雄」。鳳山人也覺得自己是鳳山公國，越過國道一就是「去高雄」。然後五甲人覺得我明明是五甲人怎麼被劃到鳳山區是看不起五甲人嗎？
