減碳法律適合拿來公投嗎？瑞士近日舉行氣候變遷的法律公投，政府為了符合《巴黎協議》的減碳目標而修法，希望加徵燃料稅與機票稅，但遭到51%的民眾反對而無法成案。反方聲稱，瑞士只佔全球碳排0.1%，且許多民眾擔心這會讓已受疫情重創的經濟惡化。

根據《英國廣播公司》報導，瑞士政府近日舉行全國公投，針對不同議題進行表決，不過其中在應對氣候變遷的關鍵法案：加徵汽車燃料稅與機票稅的方案，遭到公民以51%反對、49%贊成而推翻。《英廣》分析，這對減碳政策已經很小心謹慎的瑞士政府來說，是非常大的挫折。

瑞士在《巴黎協議》中訂下的減碳目標是透過採用再生能源、碳稅等手段在2030年減碳至1990年的1半水準，目前的法案沒有通過，使瑞士政府必須重新規劃新的減碳措施，《英廣》認為，這天對於全球的環保主義者來說，「是非常災難性的一刻。」

另外《法蘭西24》提到，取締人工殺蟲劑與只給不使用化肥農夫補助的法案也以39%同意、61%不同意遭到否決，支持者認為瑞士近年來水污染的情況愈來愈嚴重，對於生態造成嚴重的傷害，但瑞士農夫多站在反方立場，認為如果這些法規制定後，會影響他們的生計。

此次公投僅通過2個案子，一是給警察更多權力打擊恐怖主義，還有延長對商業的疫情紓困，這也反映瑞士民眾現階段關注的焦點，主要還是疫情下的經濟復甦。瑞士的公投制度獨步全球，只要10萬人連署即可提案，且會經過完整的正反方辯論程序與陳述主張。

[Good News Movement] JUST IN: After 5 decades at the helm, Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard is transferring ownership of the company into two entities that will help fight the climate crisis.

According to a press release released today— effective immediately, Chouinard and his family are transfering their entire ownership stake into 2 newly formed entities so that Patagonia’s profits are solely used to combat climate crisis.

In a statement Chouinard explained his move:
“If we have any hope of a thriving planet 50 years from now, it demands all of us doing all we can with the resources we have. Instead of extracting value from nature and transforming it into wealth, we are using the wealth Patagonia creates to protect the source.”

連接英國與歐洲大陸的高速列車「歐洲之星」（Eurostar）約43班列車因為南部數條隧道淹水狀況尚未排出而取消，影響約3萬旅客，只能滯留在英國，同時新年行程也全數泡湯。

根據外媒報導，英國倫敦聖潘克拉斯車站（St Pancras International）聚集要去巴黎、布魯塞爾及阿姆斯特丹的旅客，但卻因為隧道淹水，導致約43班歐洲之星列車取消。

超級食物巴西莓顆顆血汗　童工賣命入雨林摘 | TVBS | LINE TODAY

最新一期「自然」雜誌（Nature）刊登一份跨國研究結果：亞馬遜雨林因為非法開墾砍伐燒林等，太過嚴重，最快在2050年會崩潰，有超過一半面積的亞馬遜雨林，正走向草原化。一種亞馬遜雨林深處的野生莓果巴西莓（Acai berry），號稱超級食物，對血糖血管大腦心臟都有益，暢銷全球價格不斐，但其實也是血汗產品！巴西莓必須依賴人工尋找與摘採，身手矯健體重輕的少年童工，徒手爬上五層樓高的果樹，每摘一桶只能賺80元台幣，卻得面對毒蛇猛獸，摔下傷殘或死亡等可怕狀況。

清晨天還沒亮，巴西北方法贊丁哈村（Fazendinha）的河港邊，馬達小船載著一批早班員工出發，前往亞馬遜雨林。

13歲的盧卡斯（Lucas）可能會缺課，但賺錢的早班工作，他不會缺席。他與哥哥一起打工兩年了，七個兄弟姊妹將來想要都能上學，只靠爸媽賺錢絕不夠。他們只帶著砍刀，防水包包裡裝著換洗衣服，抵達巴西最北方的馬拉霍群島（The MARAJÓ Archipelago）。

CNN特派記者 瓊絲：「在這片茂密植被間，有千百棵阿薩依樹，這些都是如棕櫚樹般高的樹，可高達70英尺（21公尺）。現在這些人仔細觀察，找出哪一棵有成熟且可摘採的果實。」

阿薩依樹的果實又稱巴西莓，富含大量花青素、維生素以及礦物質鉀、鈣，現在是暢銷全球價格不斐的「超級食物」，顧名思義90%的巴西莓產地，就在這巴西雨林深處。2012年後的十年間，巴西莓出口量暴增210倍，也造就了盧卡斯所參與的這個童工市場：2022年巴西莓果出口總值2600萬美元，盧卡斯徒手爬超過5層樓高的樹去摘果子，採一桶只賺2.5元美金，薪水不到成本的千萬分之一。

CNN特派記者 瓊絲：「他讓這工作乍看很簡單，但其實這些果串很重，每串10磅（超過4.5公斤）結實纍纍。他要抓著兩串，甚至三四串，用滑的下樹。這偏遠叢林(若出意外)，救援人員要幾小時才能抵達。」

從樹上跌下來的機率並不低，還有叢林中的蟲蠍與野獸，處處是危險，巴西莓每年出口總量達8000噸，可說顆顆都是血汗果實。但爬高採果是這附近村落，百年來代代相傳的謀生技術。

鄰里協會主席 西爾維亞：「因為有需要啊，而且桌上沒有吃的了。」

社區領導者認為，需要有資源幫助孩子能留在學校，而不去做這麼危險的兼職。童工們面臨傷殘與死亡的風險，全無保險。只是中小學的孩子，有些連基本讀寫都不會，活著就要努力賺錢。

鄰里協會主席 西爾維亞：「都來看看巴西莓的源頭吧，通常人們不會知道，在巴西莓被送上您的餐桌前，我們要做多少苦工。」

檢察官也開始追查幕後非法雇用童工的組織，並試著教育這些童工，面對雇主時，勞方可以有哪些權利。巴西與英國多所大學的研究者們，則急著教育大眾，保護亞馬遜雨林的急迫與必要。

為了非法的農墾與畜牧活動，亞馬遜林木被大量違法砍伐和焚燒，加上去年聖嬰現象造成巴西大旱，科學家們說：人類正在把地球之肺逼著走向崩潰。燒林木、種黃豆、飼養肉牛，這些活動早已讓亞馬遜叢林的排碳總量，超過吸碳量。

伯明罕大學森林研究所生態副教授 慕埃貝兒：「我們預估亞馬遜雨林可能的臨界點，也就是，亞馬遜雨林可能在2050年(崩潰)。測試這臨界點，意味著測試全球最大(生態)最多樣的森林，會不會真的崩壞。這也代表人類(可能)的崩壞，因為我們都知道，亞馬遜叢林是人類(生存)的基礎。」

最新一期「自然」期刊（Nature）刊登這項研究結果：10%的亞馬遜雨林可能在2050年時變為草原，另外47%的雨林則進入草原化過程。2023年聖嬰現象開始，巴西大旱更加快了亞馬遜雨林消失的腳步。這橫跨八國的密林曾經有超過一萬六千種樹種，它的崩潰也等於全球生物多樣性最豐富的天然基因庫，遭到摧毀，全球20%的淡水儲存量也將不保。

伯明罕大學森林研究所生態副教授 慕埃貝兒：「我們已經看見氣溫上升非常快，的確我們還有時間去改變，但必須現在就開始。現在還不晚，不算太晚，我們有時間挽救，但我們不能再等一兩年，現在就要儘快行動。」

樹木消失威脅人類存亡，但太多人類拒絕去面對這件事。從巴西莓果到雨林沃土，這些自然資源原本是人類向地球借用，但現已變成肆無忌憚地搶奪，其實也是預支下一代人類的生存機會。

【筆記】真的覺得「環保」、「環境保護」被那些左膠給搞到風評被害了，有種陸續看到越來越多人說自己反對環保 = =" 你要不要聽聽看你自己在說什麼，環境如果真的毀了你還想活嗎？屆時真的就會像些反烏托邦創作一樣，只有權貴、有錢人、菁英才能躲在人工生態舒適圈爽爽過喔。

說真的，依我所學我只能說：所謂永續發展，其實是某種取捨，也就是「兩全齊害取其輕」，講白了就是人類若想活下去，勢必就會有汙染，只是為了能走得遠，我們應該選擇傷害相對小的。

但是，左膠根本不懂這原理，他們只會說「你這樣做不行！」

然後某些反對再生能源的也不懂，他們常常會說「你這東西還是有汙染啊！」而且他們很愛抓著綠色政治下的產物名詞「潔淨能源」的字面意義狂打。
