Taurus Horoscope for April 2015

The eclipses are back, and that means change is in the air. As a Taurus, you are not enthusiastic about the prospect of change, for in your very DNA you have a yen for stability and consistency. Yet the universe knows we occasionally need a push forward, and this is one of those times. A full moon lunar eclipse will arise on April 4 in Libra, 14 degrees, and light your sixth house of daily work projects, co-workers, and staff that reports to you, and this same house also rules steps you take to protect your health.

Full moons bring things to closure, so you may be working on a project that needs to be finished and shipped. This is no ordinary full moon, however, but a lunar eclipse, giving this full moon the power of three. Yet things seem to keep rocketing off the rails, and you will have to be very vigilant to keep things on track. You may have a personnel problem, say, if your long-term assistant starts acting strange - as if about to quit (or if your patience is at the end of the rope, to ask him to leave). What makes this eclipse difficult is that it will be in hard angle to both Pluto and Uranus. Whatever comes up won't be expected now that we see that Uranus is involved, so you'll have to stay on your toes. It might not be a bad idea to take out that file of candidates you had interviewed some time ago - you may want to call in one.

You will have a plethora of planets stacked up in your twelfth house of behind the scenes activities, leading me to wonder if there is political intrigue swirling around you at the office, with staff or a client not telling you everything you need to know. For example, a client may have been looking at other representation and keeping it a secret. No matter. If it becomes clear that a situation has run its course, despite all you have done to keep the relationship strong, let it go - you have bigger fish to fry later this year.

As I alluded to previously, there is an area of your chart where the lunar full moon total eclipse may affect you in a completely different way, not in regard to your work life, but in regard to your health. Your first house, Taurus rules your vitality and vibrancy, but the sixth house, where the eclipse falls, will focus on the preventive measures you take to keep yourself well, and if something does come up to be addressed, it rules the procedures and steps you decide to take to recover.

If health will be the concern, something is reaching an end or decision point at the eclipse, and you may be surprised at what arises.

Keep optimistic no matter whether health or work news comes up, because Jupiter, the great giver of gifts, luck and even miracles, is about to mount a rescue. Jupiter is currently moving through your fourth house of home and family, the area you are likely to receive your greatest support and special luck. It is logical to assume your family will help you with money or emotional support. Also, if money is a concern, the move of Venus into Gemini on April 11 should help - Venus is a money magnet, and is associated with women, so your mother or other prominent female may be especially sympathetic to your cause.

The fact that Mars is in Taurus is a huge plus for you this month, for having Mars in your sign is a major advantage - Mars will give you exceptional drive, courage, and a fierce will to succeed. Mars brings passion and energy too. This is a once-in-two-year privilege, and you will have Mars to yourself, putting you at the head of the class, until next month, May 11. It is part of astrological thinking that although not every initiative will work out when you make it during a time Mars is in your sign, most will. You will go to the mat to get things "just so" and not let any stone remained unturned.

Keep in mind that next month, Mercury will go retrograde May 18 to June 11, in Gemini, which will hold up financial transactions - contracts and checks due you may come late or not at all for a while. It will be best to concentrate on all your most pressing business now.

Pluto will go retrograde too, April 16 to September 25. Pluto in a backward slide may ask you to change your strategy in an international project or relationship, or one involving the media (publishing, broadcasting or internet), a legal action and the courts, or involve a university-related goal, such as choosing a graduate or undergraduate school to attend, or a date to present your thesis, or to apply for a research grant. Watch the three days that circle the retrograde, April 13-19, for a clue of what is coming up will be there if you observe closely. If you should get a setback, which occasionally happens when a big planet like Pluto retrogrades, keep in mind that "not now" does not mean "never." It simply means you have to try again in a different way, and you will have all the way to September 25 to get it right.

Ironically, on April 21, Mars in Taurus will work with Pluto in Capricorn in a very positive way and help you sort out any dilemma. It's a very positive day for any action related to the areas I just listed for you.

The new moon in Aries, 14 degrees, April 18, will be gentle. It will cast you into a private, behind-the-scenes mode, which will help you find the peaceful time to think about how you would like to map out your new birthday year, to start at the new moon next month, May 17.

Improving the look and feel of your home - or moving, selling, buying, or leasing a space - appears to be a big priority to you so far this year, and for good reason. You have the awesome help of Jupiter behind you for the first time in over a decade!

This month, one of your favorite days will be April 22, when Venus, your ruling planet, will receive a golden beam from Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck. I feel it's the best day of the month for you, especially for solving home, property, and family-oriented questions. You may get a bargain on this day, for furniture or sale / purchase of property.

You have a gorgeous weekend to end the month: April 25-26, when Venus and Uranus play tag. You may hear that you are about to receive a generous check, or a beautiful, valuable gift, perhaps from someone who loves you and gives you an early birthday gift.

If you work on creative projects, or with creative people, you'll love April 29, when the Sun and Neptune will combine forces. A social event on this evening, under the stars, would be very glamorous.

During the first days of April, Venus will still be in Taurus (a holdover from March 17), a great time to see about improving your looks and shopping for beautiful new things to wear. Your magnetism will be very high from April 1 to 10. If meeting a person in a coffee shop that you met on a dating site online for the first time, choose Friday, April 10. Attached? It's a fun night out for you too.

A development in your health or in regard to a work-related project will likely reach an important stage at the full moon lunar eclipse in Libra, April 4. If something comes up, take good care and call the doctor.
