Taurus Horoscope for July 2015

You have been waking up every morning telling yourself that you need a break. You have been through a lot, dear Taurus, and with Saturn back in Scorpio, if your birthday falls May 18-20, you are feeling the presence of this taskmaster planet pressing more responsibilities on you. This pressure-filled period will end on September 17 when Saturn will move out of Scorpio, not to oppose your Sun again (as it is now) until November 2041, decades from now.

No matter when your birthday falls, this month you seem to be craving an activity that would be new and exciting to do that you would look forward to on your calendar. The universe is listening, dear Taurus. Why not consider taking a trip? If money is a concern, it looks like a close friend will be willing to provide you with lovely accommodations.

July 1 will be an extraordinary day for you on many levels. It brings the full moon in your compatible sign of Capricorn, lighting your house of distant travel, possibly to an overseas location. This full moon will be conjunct Pluto, indicating that if you did go somewhere you'd likely have a very positive transformative experience. Neptune will be standing by to offer his gifts too, those of inspiration, and that is exactly what you had in mind. Life has become too predictable and humdrum, so it's understandable that you need something new to do. You can jazz things up, dear Taurus. If your birthday falls on April 28, plus or minus five days, you will feel this full moon very strongly and directly.

If you have been waiting for a citizenship or immigration matter to finalize, this full moon of July 1 should be powerful enough to make that happen. Other matters may reach a finish within days of July 1, too - discussions with a university may now be wrapped up, as would a legal matter. You may get a verdict, or you may file a trademark or patent now, an ideal time to do so. If you are in a legal dispute, you may be able to come up with a compromise to offer the other side - you may get a positive response and be able to close the matter in the first week of July.

You should find the day, July 1, quite special for another reason - it will be the only day of the year that Venus and Jupiter will combine energies and deliver you outstanding favor. With your ruling planet, Venus, cuddling up to Jupiter, it's an ideal day for going to a spa, for Jupiter will want you to enjoy pampering and luxury. There's more! Jupiter and Venus will meet in your fourth house of home, so that's where your special luck is likely to be centered. Browse furniture stores, or look for elegant linens, glassware, china, or other beautiful improvements to your home - you may find something perfect for your space, and possibly on sale too.

If you need to sell a house or condo or want to buy or rent a living space, this is your day, July 1, to negotiate. Are you moving into a home at the start of the month that you already chose and signed papers on several weeks ago? You will have a chance to fix things up quite beautifully. July 1 would be an ideal time to move in.

Financially, your outlook is very strong in July's first week. Your bank may approve a mortgage, refinancing plan, or home improvement loan for you so that you can get started. There will be other benefits: You may go to a party or gathering on this day and enjoy it so very much.

On July 2 and 3, Mercury, now based in your earned income sector, will receive a beam first from Uranus, bringing an upbeat financial surprise first, and news of a bonus or other influx of cash will likely follow. Again, at least on July 3, money is apt to be related to home, property, or family. This suggests a sale of furniture or personal items may bring in abundant cash on an auction website. If you live in the country, you might have a lawn sale. Or, in July's first days, your parents may help you with some of the cash you need for a down payment on a house. These are possibilities to get you thinking, but of course, these aspects may benefit you in a wide number of ways. Whatever money you receive seems to be completely unexpected, making it all the more delicious.

Mars will remain in your short-distance travel house all month (until August 8), suggesting that you will have plenty of opportunities to travel to a nearby location even if you did not manage to get away as July opened. On July 8, Mars will be in elegant angle to Neptune, suggesting the entire week, July 5-11, will be sensational for a visit to the seashore.

The new moon of July 15 will further push you to travel this time to interesting places based close to your home. By this new moon, July 15, you'll have the Sun, new moon, Mercury, and Mars (quite a group) in your third house of quick trips, setting up a two-week trend. Those heavenly bodies will work to get you out of the house and on the road. All these planets will be in Cancer, a water sign, so choose a pretty location near water to enjoy.

This same new moon may bring you paperwork to sign, and if so, you need to watch for a difficulty that you won't expect, due to unpredictable Uranus' hard angle to the new moon. Ask yourself a series of questions concerning all that might come up as you move forward. It may be that you will read unfamiliar clauses in the contract that were never discussed with the other party and that were put in at the last minute. That may strike you as very unfair, and certainly they will be points to mention and discuss. You may also find loopholes in the contract or areas that were never addressed that you would need to provide for before you sign.

Pluto will oppose this new moon of July 15 too, but in wide degree. More concerning to me is that Pluto will be in tight opposition to Mars. If you are rushed or pressured to accept certain terms that you don't like, you will have to push back. (This is very possible, due to Pluto's presence.) By all means, don't buckle under, no matter how much you want the contract to work out. Ask your lawyer to review the paperwork - she may have suggestions to make the terms of the contract more palatable to both you and your proposed partner. Thankfully, Saturn will be orbiting at a friendly angle and will offer his gifts of stability and longevity to your venture. This says to me that negotiating the contact would be worth your while, for you will be living with the terms of this agreement a long time.

Anything you agree to on July 21 or July 22 will be in place especially long, another reason you should only sign on the dotted line if you are completely happy with the terms. This could be very happy news if this is venture is one you hope to have in place for the long road ahead.

Finally, the new moon may bring news that is happening in the life of your sister or brother. Once you get to July 15, check in and find out the family news. Keep in mind that new moons bring news in the days AFTER they arrive, but not even a day before they do!

If your birthday falls on May 13, plus or minus four days, you will benefit from the energies of this new moon and feel its effects quite strongly.

Venus will go retrograde July 25 in Virgo but spend most of her time retrograde in Leo, in your home sector. Venus will go direct on September 6, which, for American readers, will be the Labor Day weekend, an easy way to remember the end date of the retrograde. Between July 25 and September 6, don't make design decisions for your home, for Venus rules embellishments of all kinds - her job is to bring beauty to all she touches. You are likely to make the wrong choices, while Venus is out of phase, so make your choices early in the month, or put off doing so until late September.

Venus is your ruling planet, so you may find many of your goals, personal and professional, will proceed slowly, if at all. If you feel you're in a holding pattern, relax and accept it - things will speed up in September and October. Focus on thinking up ways to improve your current projects rather than to venture into new territory.

In terms of your looks, do not make drastic moves during Venus retrograde. You may want to have plastic surgery or to try Botox, but not while Venus, the planet of good looks, is sleeping in retrograde. The same is true concerning changing any other part of your looks. Don't change your hairstyle or color, or if you are a man, grow or shave off your beard. Keep things the way they've been until now, and resume making changes after October 9, even though Venus will go direct September 6. (Venus will be even stronger and work harder for you on and after October 9.)

July will end on a second full moon, called a blue moon, July 31, in Aquarius, 8 degrees. Your career will light up in a big way, and so you won't want to be traveling at the time - you will want to be back at home base to enjoy all the applause and praise that comes your way at this time. This is a very beneficial moment for advancing your career, the most important moment you will see until you get to February 2016.

The ruler of your career, Uranus, will go retrograde this month on July 26 and remain that way until Christmas Day, December 25. (It is common for Uranus to go retrograde for five months each year.) This means that with Uranus' turn retrograde AND Venus in retrograde too, by month's end, you might rethink a career goal and adjust its course in some way. The two retrogrades notwithstanding, you can still have a celebratory moment at the full moon July 31 full moon. See how it works out for you. If you want to turn down an offer at this time, there will be more exciting ones on the way in February 2016.

The month opens with planets energizing your travel sectors, so by all means, pack your bags and head to the airport over the full moon, July 1. Venus is your ruler and soon to go retrograde on July 25 until September 6. It's always better to take important actions when one's ruler is in strong, direct orbit, so you will have most of this month to make your initiations before Venus settles down for her beauty sleep.

It is never wise to make dramatic changes to your appearance during the weeks while Venus is retrograde. If you have plans to change your hair, have plastic surgery, try Botox, or do anything else radical to your appearance, wait until after September 6 and better yet, when Venus becomes even stronger, from October 9 onward. Routine trims and good grooming are fine to do, but do no dramatic changes, as you may not like the results. While everyone will feel this vibration, Taurus and Libra will feel it more, as Venus is the ruler of both those signs.

Over past months, you appear to have been quite interested in improving your living situation. Next month, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will end its tour of your home, property, and family sector, not to be back for twelve years. You have an abundance of good fortune on your side now when it comes to renting, buying, selling, or improving property, so it behooves you to use this rare and special energy of Jupiter before you lose it on August 11.

Moreover, Venus will meet with Jupiter on July 1, sure to be a dazzling day for you. If you want to bid on a house or sell your condo, this day is likely to bring a price that pleases you. So many elements in your life will work in your favor July 1, including actions you take that are personal, beyond property and family matters. You may see more money, fall in love, or enjoy a pampering spa experience that seems quite special in some way.

With Mars brightening your quick, short travel sector, you'll likely be able to get away any time that pleases you in July. Travel near July 2-July 3 when Mercury will be in sync with Jupiter, and every element of your journey will be near perfect. The new moon July 16 will make it even more likely you will travel in the weeks that follow.

You may be negotiating a contract this month too, but the July 15 new moon is flawed, and as a result, bring up unexpected obstacles. If you find you experience this, have patience - this appears to be a not-so-easy negotiation to work out with the other side. Don't let your proposed business partner push you to the point that you will accept almost any terms given you. Consult a lawyer and stay strong.

Romantically, Venus will start out in the most compatible possible place for you - fellow earth-sign Virgo - but will only make a brief appearance, from July 9 until July 23. After July 23, Venus will move in a backward slide into Leo. Venus will move then forward again September 6, and resume her visit to Virgo by October 8, remaining in Virgo until November 8. That makes October 8 to November 8 very special for you.

When Venus goes retrograde on July 25, Venus will be weak, so make no major changes to your appearance from then on. You might want to buy a few new wardrobe items in early July to make you feel confident and sexy. As you move deeper into July, enjoy travel and your impending career success at month's end. If you play your cards right, you won't have to do a thing for your looks from July 25 through September because you took steps in the first week of July. Address your looks again in October. You CAN do routine grooming, trims and so forth, while Venus is retrograde, of course, but make no radical changes, and that goes for men and well as women.

Your career may bring big news on the full moon, July 31, plus or minus four days. You will want to be back from your travels at this time to take in all the news.

July 1 will be a magical day in your timeline, when Jupiter, the good fortune planet, combines with Venus, your ruler. Just about everything will go well for you, with special emphasis on love, news about a chunk of money, and special luck with home and real estate. This day is your day!

July 1 will also be the full moon in Capricorn, a fellow earth sign like yours, and will encourage distant travel. Actually, you may be returning home on or near this date, as full moons tend to finish and bring closure to actions.

July 2 and 3 will likely bring sudden good news about money.

The Sun will oppose Pluto on July 6, not a day to ask a VIP for a favor.

The week of July 4 to 11 would be superb for a trip, thanks to Mars in perfect angle to inspirational Neptune. Choose a spot near water.

The new moon July 15 will urge you to travel in the weeks to come. You may also need to sign a contract, but don't feel pressured to sign quickly due to Mars opposite Pluto. Show the paperwork to your lawyer. Saturn will be friendly and help you hammer out an agreement that's more than satisfactory to all and that will stay in place a very long time.

If you need to sign papers, July 21 would bring longevity to your actions, thanks to the Sun in perfect angle to Saturn. The following day, July 22, would be a positive day too, thanks to Mercury (contracts) in ideal angle to Saturn.

Uranus, the ruler of your prestigious career sector, will go retrograde on July 26 until December 25. Focus on ventures you have already started in your career rather than wander into new territory.

Venus will go retrograde July 25 to September 6, and will further strengthen by October 9. This is not a time to take action on dramatic changes to your looks, or to make design decisions for your home. Do so well in advance of July 25 if necessary. Routine grooming is fine when Venus is retrograde, as would be routine fixes to your home (rather than choosing dramatically new colors or looks for your space).

The full moon of July 31, the second one this month, will bring culmination to a career matter. This will be a friendly full moon, so see what comes up.
