You will be very busy at work, so much so that I suspect that your business is at least partly seasonal in nature. If you have been concerned about cash flow, this month should bring you lots of opportunity to bring in new business if you are self-employed. If you work for others, you may be paid overtime, or find side work that brings in quite a bit of money, just in time to buy lots of presents. It's a warm feeling to be so needed, and according to your chart, you will be.

You will start to see this trend take root at the friendly new moon in your sixth house of work on December 11. Uranus will be beautifully angled to this new moon, suggesting the new work will likely come in as a surprise. Uranus will allow you to add your stamp of originality to the project, and your contributions will be appreciated. Uranus' position also suggests that the work you do now will get you recognition and praise, and that you can later show other prospective employers this project as evidence of your talents in this area of expertise.

Active, high octane Mars will also be oriented to this new moon, so you will want to get started immediately - and you can. Mars is currently in your solar fourth house of home, and because Mars is the ruler of your solar tenth house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame, it looks like you will become a bit obsessed with this project and be working out of your home. This could be good news, and you will cut down on commuting time and be very productive.

As an aside, Mercury will NOT go retrograde this December, and that's good news. In many recent years, Mercury was retrograde for at least part of the month, and that meant lots of exchanges or returns were bound to happen after the holidays. Instead, this year Mercury will retrograde the entire month of January 2016. This month you CAN buy an electronic item for those on your list and be confident your gift will make a great hit. Although technically, Mercury will be retrograde from January 5 to 25, you will feel its affects before and after these dates for two weeks. This means this month will be highly productive for you, and you will feel peppy and in good spirits throughout the month.

If you are not familiar with Mercury retrograde, Mercury tends to create havoc in making agreements and finding contractual accord. In commerce - the buying and selling of all merchandize - is to be avoided, especially such things as electronics and expensive items, like a car or a house. If you do purchase these types of things during January, you are not likely to be pleased with your purchase later, and that will be true for a wide variety of reasons.

Going back to the new moon, December 11, this new moon will not only bring opportunity for increasing business and improving your cash flow, it will also give you a golden opportunity to increase your fitness and to improve your health too. Many readers make New Year resolutions that include getting more fit and possibly losing a few pounds. You have the perfect new moon to get started now, so I implore you not to wait until January 1 and beyond to start.

We all need a new moon behind us to see fine results from our efforts, and yours is happening now. You'd have to wait a year to see another one in your sixth house of work, health, and fitness, but next year's new moon won't quite measure up to the powerful aspects being given to you on this year's new moon. (New moons are all very different, depending on the conversations that new moon is having with other planets.) Astrology is all about planning and mathematically catching the right wave in which to begin.

You may say that it is too hard to begin a fitness routine at holiday time. In astrology, you don't have to make a huge effort. All you have to do is take a series of baby steps, consistently, that take you in the direction of your goal. By doing that, you would be giving birth to your new goal, and if you start to do that in the days that quickly follow the new moon December 11, you will have a fantastic chance for success.

When you choose to begin any new venture is the be-all and end-all in astrology. If you get active now, you will set the intention to become fit and firm in the New Year. I think starting small is actually smart, for you won't likely overdo and quit if you exhaust yourself. You don't want to injure yourself either, so starting small, and perhaps hiring a trainer, will help you pace yourself properly. If you don't belong to a gym, join one now, for you may get a good deal on the membership fee if you join in December when gyms are trying hard to make their quotas.

Over the weekend of December 5-6 you will likely be working on your living space, thanks to the friendly interplay between the Sun and Mars. Mars will remain in your home sector until January 3. (This trend started last month on November 12.) I am not sure why there is such commotion, activity, and possibly even noise in your home.

You may be throwing a festive party at home, or you may be hosting guests in your guest room, such as a friend or family members who have come into town to visit you. On the other hand, you and your sweetheart may be moving in together. Or, you may be looking at new places to live, or actually moving, or making needed repairs. You may be cleaning out closets, or adding new furniture to freshen up the look of your apartment or house. If you are in charge of taking care of the estate of a family member who has passed, you may be bringing items into your home, and you will have to decide where to put them. You can make a lot of progress.

Another stellar day will be December 8, when the Sun will cooperate fully with surprise-a-minute Uranus. On that day, your daily work will likely bring you unexpected accolades from a VIP at the top. You may give a speech or presentation, or conclude talks on a contractual matter. The Sun is the natural ruler of your second house of salary and earned income, and Uranus holds sway over your eighth house of bonus, advance, and other chunks of money, so you may see an influx of cash at this time too.

As an aside, Chanukah will be fun for those who celebrate that series of special nights, so if you are Jewish, your holiday starts December 7, a day that falls between the gorgeous weekend of December 5-6 and the encouraging day, December 8, which will be so fine for your career.

There will be two difficult days this month that you will want to sidestep. The first is the hardest and will arrive December 10. That is when inflammatory Mars in your home sector will directly oppose unpredictable Uranus in your career sector. The conflict between these two heavy duty planets seems to suggest that you will feel a strong conflict between home and career, and you won't know which to attend to first. It is anyone's guess about how you will take care of both areas of our life, but you will find a way.

I suppose the answer to the coming push-pull of December 10 is not to overload your schedule, at least until December 10, is over. The problem is that this day will have a large area of influence, extending a week in either direction. You may feel at this time that your fuse is growing short, and you may be tempted to take out your weariness on those at home, and if you dare, those at the office too. Instead, be diplomatic and take a deep breath if something challenging should come up.

The other difficult day will be December 19-20. With Mercury in very hard angle to Uranus, do your best not to travel on this day. If you do have to travel, have your car tuned up before you head out, and cover all contingencies by having supplies in your truck, and if you live in a snowy part of the world, antifreeze and windshield wiper fluid.

If you have to fly instead of drive, you may be spending a lot of time at the airport, so if you want to be on your computer to get work done, be sure to keep your laptop cord with you, rather than pack it in your luggage. (This is especially important if you check your suitcase.) You may run low on power by time you get on the plane, and if you are like me, there is nothing worse than being out of power on a long flight. Delays seem possible, or again, other completely unexpected problems may come up. Keep checking weather reports, and get accurate driving instructions after you get to the destination. Unless you are taking Uber, you will need to drive, and that's why you will need to double-check all information.

Mercury also rules communication, so be sure not to sign any paperwork on or near December 10. Uranus is in your prestigious tenth house of career, and Mercury will be found in your seventh house of competitors. This says to me that you may have a problem with another firm that will try to steal business from your territory or make moves on an important client. This is a weekend, but you may feel the effects on December 18 or 21.

Now let's turn to your favorite topic: love and romance. Venus will move through your true love sector this month, from December 4 to December 30. This is great news, for Venus will bring a beautiful counterpoint to all the hard work you will be doing at the office this month. Venus will be in a water sign like yours - Scorpio - and fill the most romantic sector of your chart. If you are single, Venus' gentle vibrations may help you to meet someone new, and if you are attached, you will find time to spend with your sweetheart and enjoy every moment.

You will have two days that will be sweet as sugar for matters of love, the first being December 17 when Pluto will fan the fires of love when signaling Venus. This, as said, may be a terrible weekend to travel, but love will shine brightly.

The biggest day for love and romance for you will be December 24, when Venus in Scorpio receives a brilliant beam from Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck. How romantic this evening will be! You may get engaged, or you may receive a valuable gift from the person you love. This will be Christmas Eve, but you will enjoy this day whether you celebrate Christmas or not. Jupiter is currently in your travel sector, so you may be ready to take a short trip, possibly by car and go between 25 and 500 miles, within the distance of a day's drive, and enjoy your travels to the hilt.

The following day, Christmas Day, December 26, the full moon in Cancer, 3 degrees, will receive a breathtaking beam from Neptune, the planet that will teach you that the way to deep and true love is through sacrifice of things you want for yourself so that the one you love can benefit. Neptune's dominant role will be very uplifting and inspirational, so this day may be one of your very best in recent memory. You will get a great sense of warmth and peace from being with your family, for Cancer rules family, and that's where you want to be, with the clan you hold dearest. You might volunteer to cook a great dinner on this day, or else you may simply come and contribute one dish you picked up at a gourmet food store. The full moon will heighten emotions, and in the best possible way. This will be a day for the record books.

If your birthday falls on June 23, plus or minus four days, you will feel the full moon the most. If you have Cancer rising, or a natal planet in your chart that is Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces, you too will benefit, assuming the degree of these elements in your chart is at 3 degrees plus or minus five degrees.

On the same day, December 25, Uranus will go direct, having been retrograde since the end of July, five months ago. This change will be a welcome one, for you have Uranus in your tenth house of career. Watch for a breakthrough, thanks to all the hard work you have put into your career over all those months. If you were frustrated by progress that was too slow, you won't likely have that problem anymore, thank goodness! Get set to move forward with vigor, very soon!

Also on December 25, Mercury and Jupiter will be in perfect sync. You may travel gloriously on this day, or get thrilling messages from family and friends on this day. You might say, "Everyone gets messages on December 25." Actually, no, they don't and besides, your communications will be gloriously heartwarming - much more vibrant and vivid than the messages other people will get who are not Cancers.

On New Year's Eve, you will be in luck again, for the transiting moon will be in compatible Virgo, and amazingly, good fortune Jupiter, now in Virgo, will be conjunct that gorgeous moon. How wonderful is this? Virgo rules your solar short-distance travel sector, so again, you may hit the road, perhaps to see your sibling or cousin, or simply to have private time with your one-and-only. What a way to ring in the New Year! This sounds fantastic, dear Cancer. I bet lots of readers will wish they were you!

You've been career-oriented through much of 2015, but as December festivities get into full swing, your focus will be squarely on your home. In fact, if you have to get projects done at work, so strong is the emphasis on your home that it seems a good bet you may do much of the work you have to complete at home, saving time from commuting. Working there will be productive, for you won't have the usual office distractions, and will get more done in less time.

A difficult day to deal with work-related matters, however, will be December 10. Be sure you know precisely what the client needs from you - you may misunderstand and have to redo a large part of the project. Or you may have responsibilities at home AND at work, and on this day they may collide.

You may work in a seasonal business, because additional assignments will land on your desk in the days that follow the new moon, December 11. This new moon is due to be friendly and bring unexpected elements that make you smile. You may be thrilled to be chosen to lead these projects, as they will be interesting and allow much room for innovation and creativity. You will also be able to increase your professional status by showing you can handle more than management and clients had assumed. With most of your planets on the western side of the chart, you will be working in a team situation, and although you would like to control every detail of the assignment, that seems not possible or necessary. Venus will spend almost all month in your true love sector, from December 4 to 30, with your most exciting day for love due to be December 24 when Venus and Jupiter will make a rare and beautiful aspect. You may receive an exceptional gift, such as an engagement ring or other token of your partner's love for you. Whether or not you celebrate Christmas Eve, and whether or not you have someone special in your life, this is sure to be an evening to remember, filled with enchantment.

On December 25, the full moon in Cancer will arrive, along with a lyrical vibration from Neptune, the higher octave of Venus. This means Neptune is capable of bringing your love for your beloved to a new depth and richness. You may now sacrifice something you want for yourself so that your beloved can benefit. No matter what, this full moon suggests that you can achieve a closeness you may have never experienced together before and discover how close and enduring your love for each other can become.

Although you seem to have plenty going on at home, if you hope to travel during the last week of December for privacy and quality time with your partner, the full moon will make it possible. Choose a location near water or snow, for if you do, Neptune will dust the weekend with extra confectionary of sweetness.

You can choose to go far or near (but it appears you will choose to go to a nearby location). Spending a lot of money won't be necessary to have a glorious New Year's Eve. If you have children, ask your family to babysit so the two of you can have private time together. After dinner, take your partner to the window to watch the snowflakes fall. This New Year's Eve, the evening can feel wondrous, where you can feel wrapped in a cocoon of magical love.
