If you are feeling like something has to change for things to get better, and that you are at the end of your rope with delays and executives who can’t quite make up their mind, there is good news is in store. You have just come through the two toughest months of 2017, March and April, because your ruling planet, Venus, was sleeping in retrograde, from March 4 to April 15.

Adding to the confusion and slow pace, Mercury, retrograde too, from April 9, will turn direct this month on May 3. In both cases, you will be able to breathe a sigh of relief a few days after the date of the planet going direct, for you will see a speed-up in your schedule. Both planets will be busy ramping up to former strength. If you are doing something of earth-shattering importance, wait to launch on May 20, for by then, Venus will be fully powerful again (May 18) and so will Mercury (May 20). If the matter involves money – or the hope for a profit – then wait a few more days, until the new moon May 26 (more about that later).

You can buy electronics earlier than the dates I just listed – I particularly like May 12, a Friday, but if you are desperate for the item, then do so May 7. We always leave a little room after Mercury goes direct. As a secret to you, I have a special launch that I am waiting to tell you about, and I will wait for the new moon, May 25. I think you should too. It is always wise to launch anything important on a new moon, no matter what sign you happen to be, for a new moon signifies a beginning and it opens a door.

Late last month, April 26, you had an important new moon in Taurus at 6 degrees. This will be the only new moon in Taurus this year, so although it’s not perfect, it will bring you opportunity to make progress in early May. Taurus is a financial sign, so no doubt you will be talking about money. Saturn will be in an out-of-sign trine to this new moon in Taurus, adding stability and allowing you to build a foundation.

A new moon in your own sign always brings the chance to direct the energy in any part of life that you desire, so you get to decide what area you feel needs a boost. You will have to take a step toward achieving that goal that you choose, but it can be a baby step. What matters is that you do something.

This is the only time of the year you will get a new moon in Taurus, allowing you to decide how to use the energy of that new moon. Take a step. Mercury won’t go direct until May 3, so wait until a few days after that before making any final moves. Taurus is ruled by Venus, so we have to look at the conversation that Venus will have at the time of the new moon. Venus will be in disagreement with Saturn, so there will be some bumps. You won’t get all the points you need to settle on without negotiation, but you are good at persuasion when it is necessary. Don’t let anything throw you.

If your birthday falls on April 26 or within four days of this date, this new moon will be doubly important to you. The same is true if you have Taurus rising 6 degrees or your natal moon or other natal planet in Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn, Pisces, Scorpio, or Cancer (plus or minus five degrees) – you will benefit too.

Now let’s turn to May 10, the full moon in your opposite sign of Scorpio at 20 degrees. This full moon will bring sweet fullness to a relationship that you are ready to bring to another level. This could be about a business partnership you want to set up or about an engagement or marriage. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, and Pluto is currently in Capricorn, in outstanding harmony with the transiting Sun in Taurus. This is a VERY good sign of happy results for things you begin at this time. If you are making an alliance with the aim to make a profit, it seems you will meet that goal.  This could be a very romantic time for you if you are serious and ready to promise your heart.

If your birthday falls within four days of May 10, you will see many things in your life reach a full point, so by next year, you will have to come up with new goals for this birthday year because you will fulfill so many of your previous ones.

At the same time as the full moon, Mercury, the planet of news and thinking, will be conjunct Uranus, planet of genius. This full moon would be a superb day for you to generate ideas or to make a presentation of new concepts. However, it would not be the right day to sign papers, because in choosing a day for any agreement, you need a stable, friendly Mercury. The Uranus buddy-up to Mercury may be exciting, but it won’t be stable. For signing papers, you need to wait until months’ end, May 25, but it would be even better to catch the elegance and financial profit of June 3, one of the loveliest days of the season when Jupiter will trine the Sun – a golden day.

For putting forth a superb money-making idea regarding a work project, it will be hard to beat May 12, when Mars will be aligned in a heavenly trine position to Jupiter. Jupiter is the giver of gifts and luck, and is currently moving through your workaday assignment sector. Mars, on the other hand, is in your earned income sector, so on May 12, money and new assignments go together like cup and saucer.

Now let’s turn to Saturn and Uranus, two planets that this year are being unusually friendly to one another. This almost never happens and won’t happen again in the same way after 2017 until 2047.

On May 18, Saturn in Sagittarius will be in sparkling angle to Uranus in Aries (a trine, 120 degrees, the best you can get). Both Saturn and Uranus move very slowly. It takes Saturn 29 years to go around the Sun, and Uranus takes 84 years to make the same journey – you can imagine how hard it is to get these to planets to cooperate. Because they move so slowly, you really don’t have to have a mathematical “hit” of perfection like you do this month on May 18. The entire year will offer this advantage, for there is another perfect “hit” on November 11.

What can you do to take advantage of this lovely aspect? Uranus is the planet of innovation and Saturn is the planet of stability and security. The message is clear: invent an idea and in time you will enjoy security. This would be a superb day for an interview, presentation, product, or services launch, so you would have a perfect time for do these activities after the new moon, May 25. Saturn is based in your house of other people’s money, ruling such funds as bank loans and lines of credit, venture capital, bonus, cash advance, mortgage, inheritance, and other such sums that tend to come to you in one large check.

Meanwhile, Uranus is moving closer, and is almost in Taurus, so very close – 27 degrees Aries. (Planets only go to 29 degrees 59 minutes and then they go into the next sign.) Uranus will enter your sign in May 2018. That’s news because you have never hosted Uranus in Taurus ever in your life, as it takes so long for Uranus to get to you, 84 years. Uranus will remain in Taurus from May 2018 to April 2026. The Taurus who will begin to feel Uranus moving silently through deep space so close to their natal Sun, starting next year, will be those born April 20-22.

Every member of your sign will eventually host a visit to Uranus. This once-in-a-lifetime vibration will have the power to make you extremely creative and possibly very famous globally. You may be initially viewed as a little quirky or rebellious as you pioneer a new path. This is a very stimulating, exciting vibration that’s coming, but it’s too soon to think about it now. I just couldn’t wait to tell you. Any natal planet that you have in Taurus will be electrified. Just wait and see!

Now we come to the new moon in Gemini 5 degrees on May 25. You have had high expenses lately, as Mars is tearing through your second house of earned income, always a sign of higher-than-usual spending. This is another reason this new moon is good news. It is the only new moon you will have in 2017 for increasing your salary or earned income. Use the days that follow – you will have ten days –  to ask for a raise and to otherwise find ways to increase your cash flow.

I love this new moon of May 25 because it is in fine attitude to good fortune planet Jupiter, who can help you. Jupiter is in your house of workaday assignments, and the new moon is in your house of money, so if you are self-employed, it looks like new work is about to be offered. If you work for others, you have a good chance of getting an approval for a raise.

Astrological purists will say that the new moon is at 5 degrees and Jupiter is at 14 degrees, a nine-degree spread. Some will say that is far, but I feel although it is on the fringe, it is definitely close enough for Jupiter to be helpful. The moon is moving toward Jupiter, not gliding away from this benefic planet. Another point is this: a new moon in Gemini is all about Gemini’s ruler, Mercury. Mercury will be in Taurus, in good angle to Pluto, so again although these two planets will have a wide nine-degree spread, they are still within orb in my book.

I also am happy that this new moon, May 25, will be very friendly to Neptune, planet of love and creativity. The project that comes up might allow you to put a big stamp of individuality on it. A friend may make an introduction – possibly at a party or other social event – that leads you to a great way to bring in more cash.

In terms of love, of course, if you are getting engaged or married at the full moon May 10, it does not get any more romantic than that! If you are single, you may love the weekend of May 27-28, when Mercury, the ruler of your fifth house of true love, will contact Neptune, the planet that teaches us to love deeply. (As you see, Neptune will be very prominent all month.) June will be even better for you, so stay excited, dear Taurus. The best is yet to come.

Last month you were eager to move ahead on plans, but you seem to have been thwarted at every turn. Mercury, the planet of intellect, judgment, contracts, agreements, and communication was retrograde, but now will move ahead on May 3. You will feel instant relief, for it no longer will be so difficult to reach important decision-makers and to have them be decisive. The mix-ups and mishaps will end now – happier days are due.

Late last month you had a superb new moon in Taurus on April 26, and happily, this new moon is still exerting a strong influence as you begin May. With Mars and a favorable new moon behind you, there is no limit to what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.

That new moon received a beam from Neptune, indicating a friend may be instrumental in your progress and inspire you to find new solutions. Share your goals and challenges with friends you trust. A great idea may now surface that you can use immediately. Creative projects will go exceedingly well, thanks to Neptune’s silvery beams, too. You would be wise to think globally not locally, for your current projects seem to have international application. Other areas that will shine brightly for you include the courts system, so a lawyer would be beneficial to you, as well as persons in media and/or academia.

You may be making a pact with a romantic partner, say, though making a promise or by becoming engaged or married at the full moon in your opposite sign of Scorpio, May 10, plus or minus four days. This moon will help you move to the next stage of commitment with the one you love.

Neptune will be elegantly conversant with that full moon, May 10, too, ensuring a feeling of inspiration, for part of Neptune’s job is to help you aspire to a better version of yourself, rising to a state where others’ needs can joyously be put ahead of your own, a sign of deep love and affection. Pluto, a financial planet, positioned in your ninth house ruling people and places abroad, will be positive and possibly profitable for you should you want to set up an alliance to complete a business goal. If you are taking a step closer in a romantic relationship, you may be taking a trip to a location that requires a passport for entry, and that sounds like a possible honeymoon. If not, if you’ve promised each other to be exclusive, you may want to celebrate that step with a fabulous overseas trip together.

If you are single and not dating, a blind date this month may prove to be amazingly successful at month’s end. Venus is now in your twelfth house, the place these kinds of dates would be set up for you by friends, co-workers, and others in your sphere. You wouldn’t likely meet your new date on a digital dating site, but you might, so I can’t quite cross out that possibility. I feel a friend or even business associate would more likely play Cupid for you this month. Next month Venus will move to Taurus on June 6 to July 4, a far better time for you to find love if a blind date does not materialize or interest you in May.

You seem to be fretting about cash flow and also not having enough money for building a nest egg. Taurus is considered a wise financial sign, for you are comforted by having money in the bank, and so you often make saving a priority. Mars has not helped by tearing through your second house of income, for Mars in this position usually brings reasons to spend. That increased spending will end early in June.

Saturn has been moving through a difficult phase in your money-oriented eighth house since December 23, 2014, at times making the accumulation of financial security a challenge. You have a bit farther to go, for Saturn will leave in December 19, 2017. Once Saturn finally does exit your eighth house, he will not be back until February 2044, many decades from now. By December, thanks to Saturn’s tutoring, you will have evolved into a new place concerning money, and you can build security even during times you have little coming in or high expenses. Keep working on your goal to bring your financial picture into focus and on stronger ground. You can accomplish your goal little by little, for Saturn asks for patience and structure, through a regular, consistent effort.

More good financial news will arrive this month, as you will have the perfect new moon on May 25 to come with ways to make more income. You may get a raise approved on your day job or find the ways to end your cash crunch by taking a freelance assignment. If you are self-employed, plan ways to bring in more business, perhaps by doing a self-promotion or advertising campaign. Mars will be friendly to surprise planet Uranus, another sign that you should make an effort now to increase your income, because your timing would be ideal near May 25. Benefic planet Jupiter will be positioned a bit far from the new moon in the galaxy, but still will be mathematically close enough to help you from his perch in your workaday sector (sixth house).
