You are one of the signs known to be talented with money, along with Scorpio and Capricorn, and this month you will prove this to be true. You like to have money in the bank, for to a Taurus, having security is of primary importance. This month you have the time and inclination to take stock of your financial picture and find ways to increase your cash flow, cut any possible waste that you find, and do a little mid-year tax planning. You can also now review your retirement portfolio with your financial advisor to see if your nest egg is doing as well as you had hoped and to make any changes you both might feel are necessary. This trend first surfaced several days before the start of June, on May 25, a new moon in Gemini, 3 degrees, in your second house of earned income.

As you begin June, gather up your courage and ask for a raise. This is the very best time in all of 2017 to get an increase, so if you don’t act now, you may have to wait a year before you will have another chance as strong as this to get your raise. See how you feel – if you’ve not received one in a long time, by all means, ask. If you are self-employed, it’s a good time to do self-promotion, to advertise, or do publicity about your work and recent successes. If you like, you can try to gently raise your rates. Watch closely to see the response. If you are looking for work or new business in early June, last month’s new moon in Gemini (May 25), the sign of twins, you will have a good chance of finding not one new source of income but two!

Certain industries will be especially bright for you this month, including publishing, broadcasting, editing proofing, social media, sales, marketing, public relations and publicity, telecommunications and app development, teaching, and anything that has to do with mail – couriers, express mail, and even the post office.

June 3 will be your favorite day of the month, for Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will send a beam to the mighty Sun. (Here is why June 2 and 3 will be so good for you: the transiting Sun is currently in your solar second house of earned income and Jupiter is in your house of workaday assignments. This is a four-star day, filled with possibilities for generous profit through work projects. You will feel the energy of this aspect build the day before, June 2.

Your focus on money will reach a conclusion at the full moon June 9, in Sagittarius, 19 degrees. You will likely polish off all your bills, and among them, you may have one especially large one, because it is showing up on my radar screen. The house that this full moon will shine in rules the eighth house of other person’s money. The type of funds you may be thinking about might be one of these: student loans, venture capital, bank loan, inheritance, divorce agreement and court settlements, insurance payouts, mortgage, bonus, commissions, and royalties, to name a few. This full moon will be in perfect angle to Jupiter in your sixth house of work assignments, indicating you can make money from what comes up in early June. Full payment is likely to come to you.

There will be some tremors however. Saturn will be near the full moon, so you may not be able to get as much money as you had hoped for the project. Or, you may get less from a court settlement than you had hoped. Saturn contains and limits all it touches, and everyone will be feeling frustrated by this full moon. If you are trying to buy a house, for example, you may not win the bid and be forced to bid higher. Or, you might not qualify for the lowest mortgage rate. (Banks often force self-employed persons to pay a higher rate – I know that is not fair.)

Something about this full moon may frustrate you. However, as said, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, still in Libra, will be beautifully aligned to this full moon, so Jupiter will soften the financial conditions you will face at this time.

The toughest day of the month will be June 14-15, when Saturn will stand toe-to-toe with the Sun, a meeting of fire and ice. This is a day everyone of every zodiac sign will find weighty, arduous, or deflating. Do not sign a contract at this time – in fact I will black out all days from June 7 to June 17 for you – you want to stay as far away from these aspects as possible. Instead, choose the new moon, June 23, to sign, or do so in the week that follows.

After all the financial meditations and negotiations are done by the third week, you will be ready to get a change of scene. This would be a perfect month to flee town. Mars will enter divine-for-Taurus Cancer on June 4, and heighten your desire to travel, even if only for a weekend or long weekend. With the Sun, new moon, Mars, and Mercury all in this one house – each one in water sign Cancer – you will want to be near water. It could be that you lease a cottage in a thickly wooded mountainous area with a lake, or at the seashore, where you can enjoy sunshine and salty breezes. Uranus will be friendly to this full moon, so an unexpected invitation is likely to come up out of the blue to allow you to take carefree time off.

    Consider taking a short trip to the seashore, or to a peaceful, blue lake, or a fabulous creek near where you can hike and listen to the roar of the water as you walk along a well-traveled, soft earthy path.

Another possibility at the new moon will be that you see a flurry of activity. If you write or speak for a living, or work on apps or software, in public relations, or on social media, assignments and new business will flow in. You may have a contract to sign this month and if you didn’t sign it on your outstandingly lucky day, June 3, then sign it June 23, 24, or 25, but as said, not mid-month!

Jupiter has been in your sixth house since last September 2016 and will remain in this area of your chart, ruling work projects and health until October 10, 2017. If you feel that Jupiter has not been working hard enough for you since early February 2017 when he went retrograde, you might be right. Earlier in the month, you seem to be concerned about money. You have come through six weeks of intense spending, which thankfully will end by June 4. The new moon in Gemini last month on May 25 was a fine time to increase your income by asking for a raise, for generating new business, or for looking at job possibilities in competitive companies. That trend continues in early June – the quicker you look for a raise, or do things to increase business, the richer you will be.

If you have been looking for a new position, the full moon of June 9 will find you negotiating benefits, such as for a solid health insurance policy, a better commission rate, or a year-end bonus. Or, you may be interested in negotiating flex time, extra vacation days, or approval for an assistant that you need not share with other employees. At the same time, you may be looking over your recurring expenses to see if any can be eliminated – good idea. Tough teacher Saturn will orbit close to that full moon, so if you can’t get all that you want in your benefits package, it will be because your employer is being clamped by budgetary restrictions. If you are not quite happy with a court settlement or divorce division of property, it will be due to Saturn, but be glad Jupiter is in fine position or the result would have been even less satisfactory. You may alternatively be thinking about a real estate matter near the full moon June 9, such as a sale or purchase of property. Here again, the offers are likely to be disappointing. If you are the seller and can’t seem to get the right bid, the problem may be that the buyer will have problems getting a mortgage approved. If you are buying, you may feel the spaces you find are small, dark, and not worth the price asked. June 15 will be a bad time to negotiate or close on a house – Saturn will oppose the Sun directly, an annual event.
