This is a month of high contrast, where you’ll need to pick and choose your days carefully, for stunningly positive days will stand near not-so-favorable ones. By timing your actions precisely on the positive days, and leaving a space of days to avoid the not-so-great ones, you’ll be ahead of the game.

The start of June is sure to be one of your favorite times of the month. On June 2-3, the Sun in air-sign Gemini will be beaming to Jupiter, the good fortune planet, in Libra. Jupiter first entered your sign last year, in September 2016, and continues to tour Libra to this day. Jupiter is protecting you and giving you enormous opportunities, and it will be up to you to have your priorities set, and then to go out to uncover all that the universe has lined up for you.

Rarely have you been so favored to go after a dream that you hold dear. It does not matter what your age – this year YOU are the celestial favorite. One of the big bonuses of having Jupiter in Libra that you are the most favored of all signs to make the acquaintance of many influential people who will want to go out of their way to help you. Opportunity and reward will come to you now, and the possibilities will excite your imagination. It’s also a superb time to meet your one true love – I feel it’s the very best aspect you could ever have to develop lasting love. If you already found that person and you are attached, you can grow closer.

If you feel that Jupiter in Libra has not helped you enough lately, it may be because Jupiter has been in weaker-than-usual retrograde orbit since early February. The good news is that Jupiter will go direct this month, on June 9. You will notice the difference. See what clues you get near that date (plus or minus two days). Jupiter will give you very subtle clues of where your coming luck will lie – you will need to pay attention, but if you do, you will see the little breadcrumbs. That is the day of the difficult full moon, but that will focus you on another topic. Sometimes we have good and not so good things happening side by side at the same time.

There is one outstanding day that I would like you to circle on your calendar, and it comes up quickly. On June 3, you will have a superb weekend to travel far and wide, to a beautiful country that requires a passport for entry. Jupiter’s involvement suggests you will want to splurge on luxury accommodations. Travel would be my favorite way for you to use this four-star day weekend. If you say you can’t travel for any number of reasons, I have more ideas for you, for this day is too rare special to waste. Your ninth house will be lit up, which suggests that you will be hungry for knowledge, for this is a highly intellectual house that when activated brings stimulation and growth.

You can have an interview at a university or college that you are considering apply to for undergraduate or graduate school. You can suggest a book or article idea to an editor perhaps through your agent, or attend a book signing or lecture. Or, you can decide to take a legal action, such as to file a patent or trademark, or to initiate a case in court. If you are hoping to get your application for an immigration matter approved, such as to be given citizenship, a green card, or visa, apply on June 2, the day prior to June 3, a Friday, which will also sparkle. International trade or relationships would go exceptionally well on June 2-3 too. Not only will the Sun and Jupiter be in sync, the transiting moon on June 3 will be in Libra, making this perfect for you in every way. If you need to sign a contract or finish a deal, do it on June 3, and it should prove profitable and a happy relationship.

As you get close to June 9, the date of the full moon in Sagittarius, you may notice turbulence. Your third house will be highlighted, and that will put emphasis on your skills in communication, negotiation, contracts, and commerce. Someone may challenge your ideas or criticize you, and with Saturn prominent, you may feel depressed or crushed by the words you hear. Try not to lose your self-esteem, dear Libra – no one can define you.

You might, alternatively, be thinking about your sister or brother. This full moon with its proximity to taskmaster Saturn – a planet that limits and contains all it touches – is concerning. This might mean your sister or brother needs your support. Saturn can bring a heavy, weighty feeling. Additionally, the moon in your solar chart is tied to your prestigious tenth house of career, so some sort of news may come up at work. I feel news is more likely to involve the other elements I already mentioned first – a deal or a matter involving your sibling – rather than anything career oriented (but I could be wrong about that). This is a full moon, so something is ending, although the process might be arduous.

 Several days later, the difficulty of the full moon seems to ratchet up another notch when Saturn makes a decisive, direct opposition to the Sun on June 14-15. Again, the same matters will be emphasized as the ones that came up at the full moon of June 9 (plus or minus four days). At the opposition of the Sun and Jupiter, your career won’t be your focus, but this time, a good friend might be. If a friend turns out to be on your mind, it appears he or she will be going through quite a hard time, and you will want to roll up your sleeves to help. Be sensitive to what your friend says. Don’t wave off your friend’s concerns or diminish your friend’s problem. It appears your friend needs your help, but you may not understand how much initially.

Fortunately, the messages of the full moon and of Saturn opposed to the Sun will come and go quickly. These types of aspects deliver their news clearly, and then leave. You will need to deal with things immediately, so you won’t have a lot of time to deliberate about what you want to do. Keep your schedule light from June 7 through June 17. For sure, I don’t want you to make any promises, ask for any favors, or seal any plans. Do any or all of these things later in the month.

Despite these gloomy two aspects, remarkably, your career will bring outstanding opportunity all through June and chances you get to advance may surprise you. Mars, the action planet, will work as your front man by touring your lofty tenth house of honors and awards from June 6 until July 20. During this time, do research, tell your boss that you are interested in a promotion, and find out what kind of knowledge or experience you would need to get to the next level. If you don’t share your desire to get ahead, your boss may assume that you are satisfied where you are now and are not interested in more power and money. Scan listings, read trade journals, and go to trade shows. Join a professional club and listen to panel discussions. Go up to the speaker after the talk. Become expert in your industry by reading and talking with others. Identify the leading firms in your field, for those are the ones most likely to be hiring.

If you are self-employed, it’s time to do advertising or publicity on your business and to shout about recent successes. Everyone has a recent success or two to celebrate – if you do not have enough money to hire a publicist, you can always hire an art director to create a compelling large post card to send out, or if you have been saving email addresses of your clients, to design a charming or funny email to send to your list. You can easily generate business from clients who already know and love your goods or services. When you are self-employed, you have to give yourself a promotion, and you can do that – do it this month!

The pace of your career will pick up once the new moon of June 23 arrives in the same sign, Cancer, at 3 degrees, to light your sector of prestigious career advancement. A new moon is always extremely important to watch, for it takes all the pertinent prevailing energies swirling in the solar system, and packages it so that you can access it. You can have the best aspects, but until a new moon arrives, not much happens because it’s hard to actually get at it – but you DO have the right new moon. It is the only one of the year to address your career advancement, and because this one is so friendly, it’s perfect for you to take full advantage of. You have the Sun (where you shine), Mars (action), Mercury (news), and the new moon (opportunity), all in your tenth house of professional achievement. After that new moon arrives on June 23, things should start to click into place. All the work you did while Mars was with you, starting earlier in the month, June 6, will begin to pay off.

Here is why that new moon of June 23 is so special. I love that Uranus, planet of surprise and sudden happenings, will be in ideal angle to that new moon. Uranus is in the last degrees of Aries, and is in what astrologers call out-of-sign sextile, which is a 60-degree aspect, denoting sudden, upbeat opportunity. Uranus is currently in your seventh house of partnership and collaboration, so you may need a headhunter or job broker to help you find that sterling new position. Ask colleagues for help.

If you are self-employed, you seem to require an expert to help you with something you would like to know more about – social media, advertising, publicity – someone to help you get ahead. Be open to calls for new jobs, for you never know what might come up. If you have been interviewing for a top job and are ready to give your final answer, or if you have developed a product and are ready to launch it, do it on or after June 23, but NOT BEFORE. I need you to stay far away from the heavy full moon of June 9 and the opposition of Saturn to the Sun on June 14-15. (Allow a space of at least five days before and after June 14-15).

 As you see, mid-month requires careful handling. I am hoping you won’t see any untoward results from those pesky aspects mid-month. At the very least, you might say that you worked hard, which is very possible too. Think back to December 10, just before holiday time. You had the Sun conjunct Saturn then, which is a similar aspect. What happened then? It may be that it was simply hectic, and you felt under a lot of pressure that day. You can check your emails to see what you were thinking about then.

Romantically, you may be feeling very affectionate for someone you’ve been dating or who you are married to because you have magnetic Venus moving through your eighth house. Venus is your ruling planet, so Venus’ position always matters to you. Venus is in Taurus, so by next month, when Venus moves to Gemini, your outlook for love will be even better.

The past months have not been easy to find love. For weeks and weeks, you had been stymied by Venus retrograde, which started in March, continued through mid-April, and was weak in May. It took until May 18 for Venus to be strong again. Now that Venus is moving at a healthy orbit, you have an open road to find the love you deserve. With Jupiter in Libra behind you too, you can’t go wrong.

Jupiter in Libra is a rare event, coming by every twelve years for a year-long stay. Jupiter, as the giver of gifts and luck, has been encouraging you to hop a jet and visit a foreign country for a broadening, awe-inspiring experience. You may have already done that, and if so, you can always go again.

If you can go, choose to be away over the weekend of June 3-4, when the Sun and Jupiter will collaborate in a spectacular way. The Sun will tour your house of foreign people and places all month, until June 22, making this month your best in the season to pack your bags and go. Late last month, you had a superb new moon on May 25 to get you thinking about where you’d like to go if you could find time to break free, and you may have been researching online or with your travel agent. Now is the time to choose a location.

In the background, quietly at first, your career will start to heat up in an exciting way, thanks to the move of Mars to Cancer from June 4 to July 9, for Mars is now set to light your house of honors, awards, and achievement. You might want to start thinking about whether you are ready for a promotion, or aching to switch to an entirely new job. Either way, this is your chance to go for more power, responsibility, and money. If you want a new position, then early in June, start polishing your resume, and bio, and if you are artistic, you may want to get your reel or portfolio ready to show and tell.

Gently send out feelers to top executives that you are open to entertaining offers, for when the new moon, June 23, arrives, all the efforts you have put in to shaping and polishing your presentation earlier will begin to pay off in a noticeable, gratifying way. It is at month’s end that offers will start to come up, and you may see more arrive in early July. If you are self-employed, you can give yourself a promotion by reaching for more complex jobs and more prestigious clients.

A draining full moon, June 9, will come up when Saturn orbits very close to the moon. It appears you may have to take a short trip for business, but if you go, nothing about this trip would be easy. This means you will need to do a lot of careful preparation ahead of time if you hope to reach accord with your client. Make sure your presentation or documents are letter perfect and facts are accurate.

 The serious overtone to the month will continue a few more days, but only until you get through the difficult opposition of the Sun and Saturn on June 15. It would NOT be wise to sign paperwork between June 8 and June 17, because the clanging and clashing of the crosscurrents of disagreeable planets would be built into your agreement.

 On June 15, you may hear that a friend is going through a tough patch, or alternatively, that your sister, brother, or cousin may be having challenges and need your assistance. Arrange your schedule so that it remains light and elastic for this time mid-month in case you need to move in various directions.

Venus will be in your relationship sector until June 6, making romance with your partner quite heavenly in the first four days. Your best day of the month for fun and love will be Saturday, June 3, when Jupiter in Libra will be in ideal alignment with the Sun in Gemini. Mars will still be in harmonious-to-Libra sign of Gemini too, lighting your house of travel, and the transiting moon will be in Libra, making this a four-star weekend where everything will likely go your way.
