Tomorrow, I fly to San Diego to give my Year Ahead 2019 weekend seminar at the La Costa Resort & Spa in nearby Carlsbad, CA. I am doing a cool Yoga + Astrology 3-day weekend from November 2-4 with Alanna Zabel of AZIAM Yoga. Neptune will be trine the Sun, denoting extreme harmony and spirituality, making this the perfect weekend to recharge. This will be a calming weekend where we will set our intentions for the New Year 2019.

This is a big month for you, for Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, is moving into Sagittarius on November 8, having been in Scorpio for 13 months, since October 10, 2017. This was a wonderful year for you, for you were the celestial favorite, the one most likely to receive lucky breaks and favors from VIPs. You had wonderful aspects for love, money, friendship—just about every corner of your life was starting to brighten.

Don’t be sad that you are losing Jupiter in Scorpio, a once-in-a-dozen-years privilege. You planted potent seeds over the past months, and now you will be in a position to reap the benefits. You may have done this consciously or unconsciously, but either way, you are on your way to greater financial security.

Once Jupiter moves into Sagittarius, this golden planet of generosity will light your second house of earned income. This is the first time since November 2006 through December 2007 that you have hosted Jupiter in this part of your chart. Back then, you may have been too young to have seen the breadth and scope of this marvelous position of Jupiter. You are now poised to see the most generous financial year of your life. The people you saw, the work you did, and the ideas you contributed to the team will all add up to more money for you. The more focused you were and the harder and smarter you worked, the greater your rewards will be.

Jupiter will be in the sign he rules, Sagittarius, which means Jupiter is comfortable and strong in Sagittarius and will exert energy that you will find you can absorb fully and naturally. If you feel the past year wasn’t all that wonderful, it may have been that you were so busy planting seeds that you didn’t notice you were putting a firm foundation in place for your future.

When Jupiter tours your second house of earned income, from November 8, 2018, through December 2, 2019, a period of 13 months, you will be poised to see the biggest financial rewards you’ve seen in over a decade, and possibly ever in your life.

To make sure you notice this wonderful new trend, the universe is sending you the two luckiest days of the year—Sunday, November 25, and Monday, November 26. That is when the transiting Sun will meet with transiting Jupiter, the majestic planet of good fortune. The Sun will take the goodness of Jupiter and multiply it many times over. While everyone of every sign will enjoy these two days, everyone will find rewards in different ways, for the Sun and Jupiter will meet in different houses of their horoscopes. For you, dear Scorpio, the Sun and Jupiter will bring you financial rewards, and the money you see will not be money you win or are given, but that you earn. You may see money come to you on one of these two excellent days.

    When Jupiter tours your second house of earned income, from November 8, 2018, through December 2, 2019, a period of 13 months, you will be poised to see the biggest financial rewards you’ve seen in over a decade, and possibly ever in your life.

The Sun rules your tenth house of career, so because the Sun is conjunct the most generous planet in the solar system, Jupiter, I feel you will get some sort of commendation or praise, and possibly even be offered a promotion, new title, or a new position with a competitor. You will be so happy at month’s end.

Use either date, November 25 or November 26, to advance your standing and generate more money. Draw up plans for a new product or service launch, or if you work in entertainment, design a new regular segment for your show. Having an interview, giving a presentation, writing a letter, or sending in an important report are a few examples of a good way to use these days. If you travel, things should go exceptionally well.

The month will be complicated by the moves of Venus and Mercury retrograde. Venus has been retrograde since last month, October 5, but will go direct on November 16. It will take until December 18 for Venus to be as strong as she was before the retrograde. My point in telling you this is so that you won’t ever act too closely to the date when a planet turns direct, because no planet is strong instantly—leave a few days space from the day it turns direct to give the planet time to gain its strength back.

You don’t have to wait until December 18 (when Venus is fully strong), for each day Venus will be increasing in strength. Sometimes it is impossible to wait for the perfect time. In your chart, Venus is the natural ruler of your seventh house of marriage and serious business partnerships and collaborations. If you wavered about when to marry or how you feel about your partner, after Venus goes direct, the air will clear and you will know your own mind. If you are signing a business partner where profit is, of course, the motive, then wait as long as you can—December 21 will be heavenly for signing papers, the best day of the year. Yes, best day of the year!

The very same day Venus goes direct, Mercury will begin to retrograde, from November 16 to December 6. This would be no time to launch a new product, and it is also not the time to sign a contract. Future conditions will be in the process of changing rapidly under Mercury retrograde, and if you use your previous list of priority qualifiers to make a decision, it will likely be the wrong decision. Ideally, don’t start a new job unless the person or company you will join is from your past—in that case you would be continuing a relationship, not starting a new one.

I have skipped over the new and full moon, so let’s backtrack to the top of the month and discuss those. Because I have so much good news for you, it’s hard to know where to start. (I started above with Jupiter, but now there is more!)

The new moon this month will arrive on November 7 in Scorpio, 15 degrees, making you the leader of the parade. That new moon is your cosmic gift certificate to direct its energy any way you please. Usually I show you the way you can use a new moon, but with this one, you will have carte blanche. Act on the day or in the few days that follow. All new moons are strongest on the day they appear and gradually get weaker as you get closer to the full moon, so by then the new moon has completely spent her energy. The actions you begin at this time will be very potent and will have the power to change your life for a year or much longer, even forever.

Pluto is the planet of transformation, so you may use this energy to transform any part of your life—career, money, or your personal life, in terms of finding new, lasting love or growing closer to your one-and-only. You can use this new moon to find a place to live or put in a query letter to sell your book or article idea. There are so many possibilities, and you get to direct the energy of the November 7 new moon to any one of your dreams, so choose the one that means the most to you.

In addition to having Pluto’s powerful help, you’ll also have assistance from lyrical Neptune, which is touring your fifth house. Neptune’s support of this new moon will give you chances for love, romance, or for the conception of a baby. If you are single, this will add an aura of intriguing mystery to you, Neptune will also work to bring out your creative talents. You may also be chosen for a highly creative project, for imagination and artistic expression will become a strong trend with the new moon.

Speaking of love, baby, and creativity, all covered by the fifth house, I am excited to tell you that from November 15 to December 31, your secondary ruler, Mars, will move into this very same fifth house and bring great energy there. You are moving into a lovely time for your private life, so if you are single and hope to find love, circulate at the holiday parties. Mars will remain in Pisces until December 31,the perfect place to have Mars at holiday time. Mars will amp up your charm and charisma, so you will sparkle at those parties—be sure to RSVP with an enthusiastic response.

The full moon on November 22 will emphasize money, not earned income as we discussed earlier, but rather the money that comes to you outside of salary. Money will come in and may also go out to cover obligations. Your eighth house will be energized, and it rules commissions, bonuses, licensing fees, inheritances, mortgages, severance, university financial aid, scholarships, student loans, court and divorce settlements, credit cards, and taxes—you get the idea—money that comes in and goes out are both covered here.

Not only will this full moon November 22 will be beautifully aspected for money, Jupiter will be orbiting very close to the Sun, indicating you will be very valued at work, where you may see your career take a big step forward. You may be ready to conclude a big deal. Mercury will still be retrograde, but you can work out the deal points now and sign later, after December 6. Mars will be a bit feisty from his position in your fifth house of love, creativity, and children, so you may have a concern, but with Neptune in fine angle to Pluto, I feel that area will be protected. Elsewhere in your chart, your career and finances will remain safe, too. It seems to be a little blip, nothing serious.

One of the sweetest new moons of the year will arrive on November 7 in Scorpio, bringing all kinds of gifts with it to use as you please. New moons are very powerful, and doubly so if it falls in your sign (an event that happens once a year), so you would be wise to act on key initiations on or just after November 7. Love, romance, and matters involving pregnancy and the care of children are to be especially bright and are likely to bring happy developments. This new moon seems to direct most of your attention to your personal life and how you can make it more to your liking.

Venus will be retrograde as you enter the month, a holdover from last month when Venus reversed course on October 5. Venus will go direct in Libra on November 16. The problem is that Mercury will go retrograde the very same day that Venus normalizes her orbit and goes direct, November 16, and Mercury will stay out of phase until December 6.

Once you get to next month, the plethora of retrograde planets will finally end, and you will be looking at a much more productive future. In the meantime, do not schedule any treatments to radically change your looks in the first half of November, for with Venus retrograde, you are likely not to like the results. You can follow along with regular grooming, of course, but do not schedule Botox, a facelift, or veneers for your teeth. These are examples, but you get the idea.

With Mercury retrograde, wait to shop for gifts after Mercury goes direct on December 6. This is not the month to buy any product with electronic or moving parts, such as a car, refrigerator, smartphone, TV, headphones, or a computer—wait to purchase until a few days after December 6.

If asked to sign papers, you need to wait until Mercury is out of retrograde, after December 6. You can conduct talks, but keep options open until your lawyer sees the paperwork. Venus is retrograde too, and will be currently affecting your house of partnerships and marriage, with plans going haywire for the first two weeks.

The big news is that Jupiter will move into Sagittarius on November 8 for the first time since November 2006. Jupiter takes 12 years to circle the Sun, spending one year in each of the signs of the zodiac. In your case, Jupiter, planet of good fortune, will remain in Sagittarius, your second house of earned income, until nearly the end of next year, December 2, 2019. You will have a fantastically strong outlook for increasing your earned income in 2019, or if self-employed, through generating quite a bit of lucrative new business.

Much of your financial bonanza will be a direct outcome of the seeds you planted over the past year and the fine work you did to bolster your reputation. Think back to the period that Jupiter in Scorpio spanned—October 10, 2017 through November 8, 2018—and to the people you saw, the meetings you arranged, and the proposals you presented. Your harvest is about to come in, dear Scorpio, and as said, almost all of your bounty will relate to those efforts you made during your Jupiter-in-Scorpio year. A strong financial year will give you the funds and the opportunity to direct your life in the way you had always dreamed. It’s time to enjoy life more.

The full moon of November 22 will be in Gemini and will help you settle financial obligations, but will also help you finalize business deals. If you are about to agree to a divorce, you will now be at the final chapter. Sign papers next month, but for now, write down the terms of the deal and ask that both of you think about all that was decided before signing and making it final. You might, on reflection, have small changes to the agreement before you get to next month.

The luckiest day of each year is an annual event that will happen November 25-26 (bridging two days) this year and is always happy for everyone, but in different ways. The event always involves Jupiter conjunct the Sun, and it is lucky because the Sun will take the gifts and luck of Jupiter and multiply them many times over. This year, these two luminaries will meet in your sector of earned income, so one of those days is due to be very fortunate for you financially—proving the forecast that the coming year will be outstanding for your earning power. These days could be the prelude of what is to come.

Romantically, next month will be your very best for fun and love, for Venus will move into Scorpio, and Mars will be in water-sign Pisces. This is the perfect place for both planets to be to help you find new love, if you are single, and to enjoy your partner, if you are attached. After you get past Mercury retrograde on December 6, you will be in full swing of the holiday season and looking forward to a fresh start in 2019.
