Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

Welcome to one of the sweetest months of 2018. The planets will be cooperating in an especially warm and enchanting way during the first three weeks, and you will almost hear the music their orbits create as they move along their appointed rounds in the heavens.

As you ended February, you may have been working on a project that needed to be finished before you could think about doing anything else. This is due to the effects of the full moon of March 1. Mars, your ruler, is filling your ninth house ruling intellectual pursuits,

This is an unusually sweet full moon, March 1, for Venus in Pisces will be in sync with Jupiter in Scorpio an aspect of great warmth, love, and affection. You should feel optimistic about your possibilities in life and eager to uncover what life holds for you. This full moon of March 1 will fall on a Thursday, but you will feel the softness and lyrical quality of this full moon for four days, straight through the weekend of March 3-4, too. On Sunday, the Sun will conjoin Neptune, spreading a delicate silk veil over reality, allowing your view of life to be poetic and soft.

Mars is your ruler, so I always must look to see what Mars is up to when forecasting for you. As you enter March, Mars will still be energizing your adventuresome and intellectual ninth house, which rules the media (in terms of broadcasting, the Internet, and publishing) and matters related to academia and your efforts to get your advanced degree. The emphasis will likely be on one of those two matters, but also possibly on legal matters, as this house rules those, too. For example, you may be concluding paperwork and receiving the final contract back from the other party now that your deal has been struck. This is a friendly full moon – Saturn will provide stability and long-term security from your efforts.

Long-distance travel seems quite likely in the first half of March, for Mars will be energizing your ninth house, coaxing you to leave town and enjoy being in a new setting. The ninth house is the part of the chart where we take the shutters off our eyes to enjoy a broadening understanding of the world around us. You may travel for work, for a vacation, or for enjoying a beautiful event, such as a wedding.

Mars will be in Sagittarius, and light your ninth house of travel, the reason it appears you’ll be heading to the airport this month. Mars in Sagittarius blends beautifully with your Aries Sun sign, so you will likely enjoy your trip very much. The ninth house that will be so activated for you in the first two weeks of March also covers immigration matters (green card, visa, passport), so if you have one of these matters to settle, your meetings should go well.

Over March 10-11, Pluto will be in perfect angle to the Sun, suggesting that you will have special help from a VIP to move ahead professionally. These dates are weekend dates, so circle Friday, March 9, as special, as well as Monday-Tuesday, March 12-13, to plan your career with the advice of a high level executive.

A fantastic financial day will be March 13, when the Sun and Jupiter will be in ideal sync. Jupiter is currently traveling through your eighth house of other people’s money, so a generous bundle of money appears to be heading your way. This would be an excellent day to pitch venture capital; apply for a mortgage; negotiate your compensation for a new job, including company benefits; to send in your insurance claim (or hear back on a previous claim); send in an application for student financial aid or a scholarship; win a charity raffle; or hear about an inheritance. If you work in sales, you may have something exciting to cheer about. When the topic is money, this is your day.

Romantically, you will be at the top of your game. Venus will move into Aries, crowning you the most hypnotic of all signs from March 6 to 30. During these weeks, buy one or two new outfits for the coming season. Women Aries might also want to try new cosmetic colors and a fresh fragrance. What you buy when Venus is in Aries is almost sure to please.

A day that will brim with happy surprises will be March 28 when Venus will conjoin Uranus in Aries – it could turn out to be flirtatious and plenty of fun.

This is an unusually sweet full moon, March 1, for Venus in Pisces will be in sync with Jupiter in Scorpio, an aspect of great warmth, love, and affection. You should feel optimistic about your possibilities in life and eager to uncover what life holds for you.

You have had a very busy six months, and before you get to next month, April, take time now to take stock. Think about what you’d love to accomplish in your new birthday year. The new moon, March 17, will afford you the ideal time to set out your plan. Also decide what you’d like to delete in your year ahead. This new moon will appear in your twelfth house, which in the astrological chart symbolizes the time before you were born in the placenta.

The emphasis on your twelfth house makes the second half of March an ideal time to shed any kind of situation that you feel drains you. If you don’t like your job, then start thinking about what you could do to transfer into another department. Or, quietly see if a competitor would value your talents and experience. If one friend or romantic partner continues to tear you down, start to distance yourself from that person. Also under this trend, you can now successfully address habits that you feel have harmful effects on your health. If you need a coach, therapist, or other adviser, this is the time to find the right one for you – you can get the help you need. It’s a time to wipe the slate clean and get a fresh start.

The new moon in Pisces is also a wonderful time to decide to do volunteer work for your community, for a charity or humanitarian project dear to your heart. You will meet like-minded people when you give your time and energy to a cause, and if single, you might just find someone intriguing you’d like to know better.

Mercury will go retrograde from March 22 to April 15, this time in Aries. This move of Mercury will not harm your examination of your past year – it will actually help it. Mercury retrograde helps us with any activity that begins with the prefix “re” – such as to re-address, re-examine, re-do, re-visit, re-connect, and so forth. Challenge your assumptions, and next month, after Mercury goes direct, you can draw up a new list of dreams that are more suitable to the person you evolved into. Some goals may seem a little juvenile now that you think about them, so it’s natural to tear up your list. Keep some of your former dreams, but also make new ones. The fact that Mercury will retrograde in Aries means that it will have a stronger-than-usual effect on you this time around. Don’t be blue – this phase of Mercury can strongly help you.

Mars will move into your tenth house of fame and honors on March 17 to May 15. (Coincidentally March 17 is the same day as the new moon). This will be your very most important period of the year for getting ahead professionally. During the first half of this trend, while Mercury will be retrograde until April 15, go back to people you used to work with that you might want to work with again. (If you are in sales, go back to former clients – they believed in you then, and will believe in you now.) Later, from April 15 to May 15, reach out to new people who may want to hire you and give you a better title and more responsibility.

Your relationship with someone with whom you have a committed relationship will be on your mind. The full moon of March 31 will bring things to culmination, but this full moon isn’t entirely an easy one. Saturn in your house of fame and honors will be pressing the Sun in Aries and the full moon in Libra – Saturn is precisely equidistant from both, 90 degrees away on each side.

Mars, your ruler, will be drawn into the act too, because Saturn and Mars are traveling arm in arm. Mars is a fiery hot planet, and wants to make you want to react, talk, and act quickly, while Saturn, an icy cold, cautious planet, will advise you not to decide anything quickly. Saturn will win out, so you will nearly have to slow down, and you may just be glad you held in your primal thoughts. Mercury is retrograde, so you may not be picking up all the information, or the intent of the message, but rather only half of it. Or, it may be that the other party may have the same problem with the way you worded your message.

With a full moon, it’s nearly impossible to hold in your thoughts. Instead, at month’s end, near the full moon of March 31, agree to think about all that was said. Break the chain of conversation and come back the next day to decide what to do. It’s amazing the number of creative solutions that can surface when we take time to think. I am not sure if the person in question is a business partner, spouse, or serious, long-term romantic partner. It would be one or the other person in your life.

Let’s keep this in perspective. Things come out at the full moon only if there is anything brewing beneath the surface that needs to be discussed and acknowledged. Full moons bring debris to the surface and do a thorough cleaning of the situation. For that, be glad. The universe is on your side. If something is festering, you might as well know it – or if it is within you, say it.

If your birthday falls on March 31, plus or minus five days, you will feel the effects of this full moon. Other Aries, born at other times of the month, may not notice any relationship developments. If you know your chart, look to see if you have any planets at 10 degrees Libra or Aries, for that planet will light up, and you will feel the effects as well. It’s better to know than not know, dear Aries. The good news about a full moon is you find out, make a decision, and then you move on.

Summary

This is a good, strong month that will bring all kinds of opportunities to you, and you can pick and choose among the best. Your ruling planet, Mars, starts out in the travel sign of Sagittarius, so it appears you will be traveling quite a distance. Your mind will be hungry for stimulation, so if you cannot get away to travel, look into taking college classes, attending a blockbuster museum exhibit, or attending a book lecture and signing.

The full moon March 1 will be contacted by a host of heavenly planets, ensuring that a project you will finish within four days of this date will be a success. If you will interview candidates to hire, say, for an office manager at work or to hire, at home, a babysitter or gardener, you will reach a decision in March’s first week, and it looks like you will be very pleased with your choice.

This March 1 full moon will light your sixth house, ruling your current work projects and the state of your health. If you have been ill or going through a protocol of physical therapy, you will likely reach an end, or at the very least, feel efforts have led you to a new, better level. If you feel fine, you may now see a fitness breakthrough with your trainer.

Saturn will send his gifts of stability to all that you do at this full moon of March 1 (and including the weekend after, March 3-4). Venus will be elegantly positioned to Jupiter, possibly causing you to receive a valuable gift or sum of money. You may also receive an invitation to an especially beautiful party or other celebratory event over the weekend of March 3-4.

When it comes to money, you have an outstandingly fortunate day on March 13, when Jupiter will contact the Sun, showering you with luck with money talks. This same day would be heavenly for love and romance, too. It is a four star-day, one of your best days of the month and possibly of the entire season.

The new moon in Pisces on March 17 may have you in need of rest. You seem to be in an especially reflective mood and may be thinking about recent events and be ready to plan a future strategy. In the days that follow March 17, you will be able to briefly withdraw from social activity.

If you feel it would be helpful for you to speak to a therapist about troublesome feelings or your dependence on a substance, make the call on or soon after the arrival of this outstandingly helpful new moon March 17. Jupiter, in your eighth house, ruling (among other things) mystery of life and a planet that gives the ability to regenerate, transform, and heal, will send a perfect vibration to the Sun and Neptune, allowing you to see a psychological breakthrough. This may be St. Patrick’s Day, a day of parties and gatherings for others, but for you, you seem ready to draw inward to tap the great strength you may not even know you have within.

Your career will jump to life later in the month, too, for Mars will move into Capricorn on this same day as the new moon, March 17, and light your tenth house of career for the coming eight weeks – until May 15. Mars is considered exalted in Capricorn, for in this sign, Mars can and will exert his strongest powers. The coming weeks will be the most important of 2018 for career growth and progress, so you must act immediately to reach for the position that you so dearly want to own.

You may have already seen impressive career opportunities come up in mid-to-late January, but additional chances to scale the ladder of success is on the way. Consider interviewing for a top job after this new moon appears on March 17. Or, launch a new program, product, or service, or start a publicity or advertising campaign – your name will soon be on everyone’s lips as someone to admire. The actions you take in the subsequent two weeks will have the power to improve your professional standing over the twelve months to come.

Mercury will retrograde March 22 to April 15 in Aries, so in terms of job opportunities, your best luck will come from those who you already know and who believe in you. There are golden nuggets in your past – all you have to do is look. This is true in all areas of your life.

It’s a great month to think about your life and plan for the future. Your birthday is coming, so think about what you’d like to accomplish in the coming year.

In terms of love, you have the advantage too, for Venus, planet of love, beauty, and fun, will move to Aries for the first and only time this year, March 6 until March 30. This month, watch March 28, when Venus and Uranus will be in sync, adding flirtations, sexy glances, and lots of fun to your romantic life. With Venus in Aries, you’ll be in demand and turning heads in no time flat, and if attached, you’ll magnetize your partner in ways you used to do when you first met.

I will admit for Aries born near March 31, the full moon coming on that date will cause some ripples in an established business or personal relationship. This full moon is falling in your house of contractual relationships, including marriage and serious business partners, and will be challenged by Mars and Saturn. If anything has gone out of alignment in your alliance, you’ll know at this time – it will be hard to hold in your thoughts. (Or, conversely, your partner may blurt out things to you).

If news is upsetting, take a night to sleep on all that was said before responding – you may come up with creative answers that did not occur to you immediately at the time. The job of a full moon is to bring matters to the surface, and it is always better to see a problem than be in the dark – this full moon will protect you by giving you this news. Saturn and Mars together is a blending of fire and ice – Saturn will win out and hold you back from saying too much. With Mercury, planet of communication, in retrograde, that cannot be a bad thing.
