This will be a highly romantic month, one to remember, where the perfume in the air will linger for many weeks – possibly forever.

March starts with a gorgeous full moon in Virgo, March 1, at 11 degrees, lighting your fifth house of true love. Saturn, planet of permanence, will be in the perfect spot in the heavens to support all that happens for you. If you are single, this would be a great time to meet someone new within four days of this date. If you are seriously dating, you will see positive evidence that you are growing closer, possibly with a plan to be exclusive to each other. Married? This could be a time for fun and flirting with each other. If you hope for a baby, this full moon could bring good news that the stork is flapping his wings and is on the way.

Jupiter and Neptune will be in breathtaking positions toward one another, stirring your feelings of love and bringing on a poetic moment in your timeline. No doubt about it, this is a special month, and because Jupiter and Neptune move slowly, they will be traveling in deep space in a significant position all month. Jupiter is in your house of marriage, and Neptune is in your house of hopes and wishes – this is as special as it looks to you, reading this.

Not to be outdone, Venus will be in “trine” position (denoting great harmony) to Jupiter, planet of happiness, from her perch in Pisces, considered the very best sign for Venus to travel in, for in Pisces Venus expresses her deepest feelings of unconditional love. Mercury will also be trine Jupiter, making this an ideal time to wed, for marriage is a contract, and Mercury rules all serious, binding promises. What a lineup! I am breathless, just writing this to you.

If your birthday falls on May 1, plus or minus four days, or your natal moon is in Taurus 11 degrees, you will feel the heavenly effect of this full moon. The same would be true if you have a natal planet at 11 degrees (plus or minus four degrees) of Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces, or Scorpio – you, too, will likely see good news as a result, in any area of your life.

Another one of the very best days of May for you this month will come on March 13, when the Sun will be in elegant angle to the good fortune planet, Jupiter. If this is your birthday, or close to the date of your birth, you will do very well financially this year. You will also find that your collaborations (whether you are a lawyer, consultant, agent, publicist, or other person who works with others on a one-on-one basis, you will find you have a magical relationship with at least one client. If you are the person being represented, you have engaged great representation.

Your eleventh house of events, parties, friends, new people, and fun will be very lit up mid-month, so you can expect lots of happy events later, after the new moon in Pisces, 27 degrees, arrives on March 17. The Sun will align with Neptune, bringing on an event that can only be described as an enchanting otherworldly experience. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, now in your marriage and serious partnership house (including business partnerships), is divinely angled to the transiting Sun. Neptune also rules charities, so you may be giving a benefit to support a cause you believe in and want to help.

If your birthday falls on May 18, plus or minus five days, you will absolutely benefit from this new moon. The same is true if you have a natal moon in Taurus at that degree, 27 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. If you know your chart, look to see if you have planets at 27 degrees (plus or minus five degrees) of Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer. That particular planet will be lit up if you can find one.

This is an outstanding new moon, March 17, in Pisces at 27 degrees, and this new moon is made in heaven. Uranus will be in very late degrees of Aries, close enough to send a gorgeous trine to Mars and Saturn, bringing an element of surprise and happiness.

Venus will enter Taurus on March 30, setting the stage for a magical social experience in April. Next month, watch April 10 and April 12 as very special for romance.

At the time of the new moon, coincidentally, Mars will move into Capricorn. This is great news, for Mars in Sagittarius, a fire sign, did not blend well with your Sun sign. In Sagittarius where Mars has been since January 26, Mars caused you to be obsessed with money matters, including billing people who owed you, paying bills, and doing taxes. Your spending likely rose in February, but now those expenses will drop noticeably.

Now, with Mars in highly compatible earth sign Capricorn from March 17 to May 15, you can make easier progress. Your mind will turn to travel, legal matters, the media, and academia. If you do travel, you are likely to go far, to a setting that could easily include thick forests and richly verdant mountains. As you will see in a moment, a long trip is more likely next month, while a short trip will be encouraged this month after the March 17 new moon. You seem to luck out – you can have both. I will explain.

The new moon of March 17 will encourage a trip too – while Mars will be coaxing you to travel far, for the time being, the new moon this month will be coaxing you to take a quick trip not too far, and one to a lovely city or town near water. The choice will be yours.

You have a number of planets stacking up in your twelfth house of behind-the-scenes activities. This tells me that your plans for a work project aren’t quite ready to show to the world (or the client), for you seem to have some tweaking to do first. That’s fine, for taking time to polish a project is always worth the effort.

Mars will be conjunct Saturn by month’s end (close enough), an unusual link up because Mars is hot and impulsive and Saturn is cautious and slow to act. You may be trying to see progress in a publishing or broadcasting situation that seems to be lagging with executives’ indecisive and not about to bring you the answers you need. As a Taurus, you have patience, and that quality will put you ahead of others now.

The month will end on another full moon, this time on March 31, in Libra, 11 degrees. You will find you are very busy finishing up a project. This day, or a day within four days of this date, will represent a pinnacle point for your work, yet Saturn and Mars will be both 90 degrees from the Sun on one side of the chart, and 90 degrees away from the moon. When you get planets in an equidistant position, you get maximum pressure. Imagine a seesaw, with you on one end, and a friend sitting on the other end of the seesaw. Saturn and Mars would be in the middle, at the fulcrum or pivot point, where the movement of the seesaw takes place. When difficult planets cause pressure in this position, you do feel it.

It will be vital that you avoid falls, for Saturn and Mars will be in Capricorn, the sign of bones. Protect your teeth too, and go to the dentist if anything seems odd. That full moon will fall in your sixth house, not only ruling work projects, but also health matters. Keep hallways clear, particularly at night, and keep a dim light on. I am not saying anything will happen, but just want you to make sure nothing does happen!

If your birthday falls on May 15, plus or minus five days, this March 17 new moon will be a fragrant bouquet from a loving universe. The same is true if you have the natal moon in Taurus.

If this should affect you at work, concerning a project, the way I see this is that there may be problems with a person at a distance. It could be a client, or a manager – this person appears to be connected to your work and may work in a company abroad, or a company in your city that has its main headquarters abroad. It could be that an obstacle comes up with a shipment to you going through customs, or paperwork problems when doing business abroad – you may hit snags.

Or, it may involve a publishing or broadcasting situation, for the ninth house, the source of the pressure you will feel, also rules that area of life. There are more topics that the ninth house covers: legal matters, immigration, and academic pursuits. You might have an inkling of which area will require attention, so if you do, you can start working on it early in the month. You need to be ready for anything, and with Saturn involved, you won’t be able to shelve the matter – Saturn will force you to deal with it. This is fine – you can do this.

March may well become your favorite month of the year. It starts off with a peach of a full moon in divine-for-Taurus Virgo, March 1 (influential for four days after). March 17 will also be special, for it marks the arrival of the new moon in gentle, artistic Pisces in your house of friends / fun / events. You seem to be attending a charming event, surrounded by many warm, imaginative, and creative individuals. You seem to be invited to this enchanting party, but if you would like to give your own party, go right ahead, as it will be the talk of your friends for months after.

Mars will boost your spending in the first two weeks of March, but if you are planning lifestyle shifts, those changes might account for higher-than-usual expenses. Your spending will drop later, once you get to March 17, which is not only the new moon, but also the date Mars enters Capricorn.

From March 17 to May 15, while Mars tours Capricorn, you will have the chance spread your wings and fly off to a distant point.

Mercury will go retrograde from March 22 to April 15, so buy your air tickets and book your hotels in early March so you won’t have to tangle with Mercury retrograde, an aspect that causes delays, massive miscommunication, and various events to go haywire. (You can leave while Mercury is retrograde, but don’t buy those tickets or make bookings, for if you do, they are likely to have to change later.) Consider going on a mini-vacation over the weekend of March 10-11 when Pluto will be in ideal angle to the Sun. If you can stay the following week, Jupiter will make a sublime aspect to the Sun as well on March 13, a truly divine day for happy pleasures.

Venus in Aries will link to Uranus on March 28, so if you are single, a blind date a friend sets up, or a date you have with someone you met online, could go exceptionally well. If you are attached, schedule a little private time with your one-and-only on this day.

Venus will move to Taurus on March 30 to April 24 for the first and only time this year. Get ready to go shopping for new wardrobe items, and women readers, pick out new makeup and a fresh signature scent. With Mercury retrograde until April 15, you shouldn’t buy electronics, a car, machines with moving parts, or expensive items like precious gems or furniture. You can buy clothes – keep the receipts in case you need to exchange for a different size.
