We have made it to February, a darling month, made all the sweeter because most of us have come through some tough tests in January, which held two eclipses (January 5 and 20) triggering one or two sudden changes. If you felt January was intense, you are not alone. I would like you to share your stories about the eclipses and other aspects on social media—each night I read every post. After having come through two months, December and January that put many demands on you, you now move into fresh, friendly February, a month that will make you instantly feel you’re in your element. February has a lighter, more welcoming tone, and this new month should quickly put you at ease. It may become one of your favorite months of 2019.

The big moment of this month will come up quickly—it is the new moon on February 4, in Aquarius 16 degrees, lighting your fifth house of true love. New moons are potent, for they open a portal of energy that lasts ten days, and depending on the actions that you take, will have the power to affect you for a full year—or perhaps forever. This new moon will allow you to socialize more and to find love, if you are single and looking. Jupiter, the good fortune planet, will be working directly with this new moon, so you may meet someone during your rounds in your neighborhood, or while on a short trip to a nearby town where you would go to relax and unwind.

If you are attached, you and your partner can grow closer now, for you will have time for one another, and it will be a superb time to take a quick vacation for just the two of you. If you want a baby, this will be the best full moon of the year for conception or the birth of a baby. As you can see, the month will ask you to focus on your personal life, as well as on your own feelings of physical and emotional well-being.

The fifth house, so lit up here, also rules your artistic expressions, so with this peach of a new moon boosting your creativity, you may want to consider working on a project dear to your heart, for you are likely to find a way to come up with an imaginative, original expression that you will be proud to show others. Write that screenplay, compose that song, design that costume, or choreograph that dance, dear Libra.

The entire week of the new moon certainly is a special one. Put a gold star on February 7, when the Sun and Jupiter will be aligned, and at the same time, Mercury and Mars will be in sync, too. This is the most delicious day of the month. Use this day for almost any reason—a first date, a face-to-face pitch to a client, the debut your blog or podcast, the launch of a new product, or the start of an advertising/publicity campaign. Sign a work order to begin designing your app, or make an appointment with a VIP, for you are sure to impress.

The weekend of February 9-10 has your name on it, for these days will also be sunny and bright. Mercury will signal Uranus, stimulating your mind with 100,000 points of light. Mercury is currently traveling in your fifth house of love, so this weekend should brim with happy surprises and serendipity. You will be playful, cheerful, and in the mood for warm romance.

Your partner certainly has your attention this month, for Mars will continue to circulate in your partnership sector. On February 12, Mars will be conjunct Uranus, which is quite a linkup that spells unanticipated results—something that comes out of the blue. These two planets will be in hard angle to Pluto, so family matters might be touchy. It could be your family doesn’t like your partner, for example, causing tension. Or, it may be that you have landlord who suddenly is taunting you at every turn. You may at last gradually come to the conclusion that you simply can’t stay in your present home.

    Valentine’s Day might please you to your toes. The transiting moon will be in Gemini, an air sign like yours, and your partner seems to have put in a great deal of thought into how to surprise you on this day for lovers.

There are many possible examples, but the point is, someone seems to be domineering and difficult to deal within your area of home. Still, you have so much going for you in February that you can talk your way to a better situation. You will be in your element this month, for you are an air sign, and that powerful new moon is in air, working hard for you in the first half of February.

Mars will be traveling through your partnership sector, a holdover from January, until February 14. After mid-month, your partner in love or business won’t be such a focus for you. Mars will move into Taurus on February 14 and stay until March 30, a time when your spending will rise. You may be aware of an impending situation that will require an outlay of cash. Knowing certain large obligations will become due, you may have put aside money to deal with it. If you have no idea what might come up, then you will have to spend more conservatively until you see the lay of the land from the second half of February through March.

Mars will put a spotlight on taxes, so you may feel this trend by simply getting your receipts organized and ready to give to your accountant to file your tax return. If self-employed, you may owe more than you anticipated, so again, a conservative approach to spending and saving would be wise in the second half of February and through March.

Valentine’s Day might please you to your toes. The transiting moon will be in Gemini, an air sign like yours, and your partner seems to have put in a great deal of thought into how to surprise you on this day for lovers. Venus, your ruling planet, will receive scintillating beams of silvery light from Neptune, the planet of unconditional love, on February 16-17, the weekend, and you will be able to feel glimmers of this vibration on February 14. If you can both take a private weekend for two over February 16-17, by all means do so.

After a very social month, you may find your batteries wearing down near the full moon, February 19, in Virgo one degree. Shore up your strength to ward off the sniffles, and ask your doctor if it might be wise for you to take vitamins.

You might find out a secret that someone has held from you, and if so, although it may be something you never imagined possible, the universe will be your friend by making sure you find out. Uranus and Mars will be friendly to this full moon, so you will be protected. Not all Libras will hear of a secret, of course, and it may simply be that you want a little privacy and solitude.

As February nears to a close, on February 27 the Sun and Mars will be in alignment, forging a direct boost from your house of health and fitness to your house of transformation. You might score a personal best in sports or at the gym or have a medical procedure that turns out well for you. You seem to end the month feeling happy.

Next month, Mercury will be retrograde in your workaday sector from March 5 to March 28, so the usual delays that Mercury tends to bring will crop up, but your schedule will open up too, and you will have more time to do things you’ve wanted to concentrate on. You may even get a chance to go back to a project you hoped would get the green light—see what happens now and be optimistic.

If you hope to buy an electronic item, however, such as a new smart phone, laptop, special headphones, flat screen TV, new automobile, or stove, refrigerator, or dishwasher for your kitchen, as some examples, make those purchases now, in February, just after the new moon in the high–tech, electronic sign of Aquarius, February 4. You must never buy an electronic item or any type of machine when Mercury is out of phase.

There are times we look out onto the landscape of the world, and other times we spend our energy looking inward, to our home, family, and private life. The latter will be your priority this month. Since last month, you’ve been riveted on your physical space—your home or on other property you might rent or own—or on your parent or other family member. Your space may feel too small (either your primary home or a vacation home), or you may feel that your décor of one of your properties needs a makeover, and so you’d like to spend time and money making it more special. Venus is in your home sector, a good time to make design decisions.

Last month you had a greater emphasis on home and family, and you still have a significant number of planets clustered there. Saturn and Pluto are still very much settled in your home sector, so you may have made structural changes with walls or the basement last month, or will in coming months. It looks as though you may be planning to do more work—or make a move—in July, at eclipse time. You can act now, so see how the planetary schedule works with your plans.

The new moon on February 4 will be quite a dazzler this month, falling in Aquarius, to light your fifth house of love, romance, fun, and glamour. You seem to have given yourself over to love and only have eyes for the person you are dating or who is your partner in marriage. This will be one of the sweetest new moons of the year, capable of bringing on an enchanting episode with just a little effort from you. If you are single and hoping to find love, a fateful meeting might come on a short trip or while you are doing errands in your neighborhood.

If attached or married, at Valentine’s Day your partner may sweep you off your feet. Let your partner make the plans, for your partner will make them carefully in an effort to put a smile on your face. Even if you don’t find those plans to perfectly hit the mark, consider the feelings of your partner, who will want you to have a special day. Be grateful you have such a loving partner.

A few days later, February 19, the full moon in Virgo may bring you a need for rest and solitude. At this point, although your social schedule has been fun in February, you may want to beg off some engagements to follow a more leisurely schedule. Be sure you keep up a healthy routine, or you may catch a cold that could linger. Ask your doctor if she recommends you have a flu shot, other meds or vitamins, and a recommended workout program to keep your resistance high.

Money might be a pressing consideration all month, for a number of surprise expenses may come up. This high spending period will extend from February 14 to March 30. Still, you will have lots of ingenuity when it comes to raising cash—a side job you are asked to do could be a fine fit for you. In a month when you have so much good happening, keep optimistic—you can handle anything that comes your way.
