March will be one of those glorious months where social activity will take precedence over work, which is saying a lot for you, dear ambitious Scorpio. The month offers many glittering planetary gems, and although there will be a few speed bumps here and there, overall there is nothing that can stop your quest for romance, happiness, and artistic expression – all will be there for you in great abundance.
Of course, you will have to do your part by reaching out to the golden plum hanging there on the branch for you to pluck, for you must show the universe your intent and what is most important to you. You are an active soul, so you can and will go after what you want in this glorious month, and as a result, March is likely to turn out to be one of your favorite months of the year.
This month certainly starts out with a bang. The full moon on March 1 will shine in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, a part of your chart that also rules friends / fun / events and new people you will meet. Something you dearly wanted to have or to see happen is about to come to fruition. This is one of the sweetest new moons of the year, and because all full moons have an area of influence of four days, you will feel the effects of this full moon straight through the weekend of March 3-4. What a glorious way to begin the month. Something is happening that will be gratifying to the deepest part of you, and your spirit will be soaring. You seem to be surrounded by a great many happy people.
The reason I love this full moon is that Saturn will be beautifully supportive to the full moon. This weekend would be ideal for a wedding, a luxurious charity benefit, or other celebration. Some of the new people you meet at this event that will happen at some point March 1 to 4 may stay in your life a long time, and maybe forever.
I also love that Saturn will signal the full moon in your house of hopes and wishes, from Saturn’s perch in your third house of communication. This suggests that what happens this weekend will have long-range ramifications – you can build a wonderfully deep foundation from the actions you take now, and life may seem a little different and vastly improved from this moment on.
Because the full moon is lighting your third house, which also rules travel, you may need to get on a plane, train, bus, or car to get to the festivities you attend in the first week. The third house also rules siblings and cousins, so if you are attending an event such as a wedding or engagement, it could be that it is your sister, brother, or cousin that is the one in the spotlight.
I am also excited by the Saturn’s unusually sweet boost to the Sun and Neptune in Pisces, a very romantic vibration, also suggesting permanence and longevity to the events and emotional bonds made at this time. Additionally, Venus in Pisces is the most divine sign for Venus to orbit in, for it is said that Venus in Pisces is exalted in this sign, allowing Venus to express her greatest expression of love and affection. Venus will be in Pisces from March 1 to 6, and lo and behold on March 1 (operative through the weekend of March 3-4) will be making a perfect trine, which is the most heavenly aspect possible to Jupiter in Scorpio. This is remarkable – it does not get any better than this.
Yet there is even more good news. On March 2, Mercury will also be in trine position to Jupiter, indicating that promises made will be joyously kept. If you need to sign papers in early March, do so on Friday, March 2. Or, do so on March 1 or 3, when Mercury and Jupiter will still be close, too. Marriage is a contract, so you can see why this first weekend of March would be so perfect for a wedding.
If your birthday falls on November 3, plus or minus four days, you will benefit the most from events that happen as a result of the full moon March 1, with influence to March 4. The same is true if you have Scorpio rising or the natal moon in Scorpio at 11 degrees, plus or minus four degrees. Do you have none of these? Then look to see if you have a natal planet in Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces, or Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn.
Life continues to get better and better. During almost all of this beautiful month, you will be highly creative, for the fifth house, so enormously emphasized, rules not only love but also artistic and imaginative expressions. On Sunday, March 4, you have Neptune, the planet of unconditional love, originality, and creativity, conjunct the Sun. The Sun rules Scorpio’s mid-heaven – the highest point in your chart – denoting career success. If you have a creative project you need to finish, by all means work on it over the weekend of March 4. In truth you will have more days than that, while the Sun tours Pisces (until March 19) to easily find the originality that lies within you. March 4 is special, however, so do some deep thinking then if you like.
Whether you need to buy, sell, rent, buy furniture, renovate, repair, or make any other changes, Mars will give you an array of choices from March 17 to May 15.
This year you have good fortune Jupiter in your sign until November 8, crowning you the celestial favorite. This means the universe wants to heap gifts of love, career, money, health, travel, and more to you as Jupiter travels through Scorpio. Each sign gets one year of Jupiter’s treats, so you can only get this special celestial favor once every twelve years, and if you do the math, and you live to 96, you only get eight of what I call these, your Emerald Years, in a lifetime. Jupiter first entered your sign on October 10, 2017 and will continue to grace your sign until November 8, 2018.
What is also unusual about this month is that NO planets will be retrograde in the first week of March, a situation that almost never happens. This is still another reason it would be so important to crystalize something new vital to you between March 1 and March 7.
On March 11, the Sun and your ruling planet Pluto will be in sync, a wonderful day for meeting with a VIP. That’s a Sunday, but the weekdays that circle this day are wonderful, too. Pluto represents powerful people, so if you are meeting with one, you are likely to get the request you hope to hear.
On the same day, March 11, Mars and Uranus will be in perfect trine (meaning supreme harmony), so if you need a new apartment to rent or need to buy or sell property or furniture, you might see your puzzle pieces to click into place over the weekend of March 10-11. Uranus is the natural ruler of your fourth house of home, dear Scorpio, the reason I think you may have extraordinary luck with home and family matters then. When Uranus strikes, it is like being hit by lightning, so be ready. Mars in Sagittarius has been causing your expenses to rise, but now, working with Uranus on March 11, you will likely get the money you need to enact your plan, such as to get a mortgage or a loan from your parents for part of a down payment on a house, as two of many possible examples.
Aspects to help you find either part-time or full-time work are also upbeat near March 11. If you need a job, schedule your meeting for the weekdays of Monday, March 12 or Tuesday, March 13.
March 13 is due to be one of the most brilliant days of the month for presenting a creative idea, for the Sun and Jupiter will be in ideal alignment, a trine. Authority figures will be impressed with you, financials will be generous, travel sparkles, health matters go well, and legal matters tend to go your way. Use this for almost any important purpose where you need everything to go right.
Also, this day, March 13, dazzles for love – have a first date, or if you know one another well, get a proposal or give one, and get engaged if you like. See a fertility doctor if conception has been difficult or have your in vitro procedure then. It’s a day that swirls with joy.
Jupiter will turn retrograde on March 8 and not resume forward motion until July 11. In this case, I am never worried when Jupiter goes retrograde. Jupiter is not at all like Mercury (I will discuss Mercury in a moment), and when Jupiter moves backward to earlier degrees of Scorpio, in this case back to 13 degrees Scorpio from where Jupiter is now, at 23 degrees Scorpio, Jupiter will give earlier Scorpio birthdays what I call a second coat of paint – even more luck. This means slow-moving Jupiter is currently sending golden beams to those born November 15, but now will move all the way back to birthdays that fall on November 5 and turn then go forward again.
Let’s say you were born in October. Don’t be blue that Jupiter is not coming back to you – if you have your natal chart, you may have many natal planets that fall in Scorpio from 13 to 29 degrees that will receive direct gifts from Jupiter before he leaves. Also, this past year, the luckiest day of the year was October 26, so you had that day all to yourself, when the Sun conjoined Jupiter.
To those Scorpios born October 22 to November 4, a seed you planted in October through December 2017, or in January or February 2018, will likely grow impressively in months to come because your timing was so perfect. The point is that ALL Scorpios will do well now. All should have something to celebrate.
Looking forward, aim to plant seeds in March, April, May, and early June. On June 26 your secondary ruler, Mars, will retrograde until August 27, a time when you need to coast a little and backtrack over previously done projects to polish them a bit more. Do not make new launches or new initiatives while Mars is retrograde. Mars is the competitive planet that helps us win, but when retrograde, we don’t have Mars’ help.
Now we come to a truly exciting part of the month, the new moon March 17, in, fellow water-sign Pisces, at 27 degrees. On that new moon, you have the mighty Sun, magnificent new moon, and Neptune together in your fifth house of true love. This is simply enchanting. Single Scorpios must circulate in the two weeks to follow. Your best way to meet someone new will be the old fashioned way – at a party or through the introduction of a friend, not through apps or website dating.
Jupiter will be on hand to take VERY special care of you now, especially at the new moon March 17, for Jupiter in Scorpio will be in just about perfect trine to your Sun and new moon. Jupiter is the planet of miracles, so expect the very best, especially when it comes to romance. This new moon will introduce a breezy new influence, allowing you to be out and about more, to enjoy dinners, movies, shopping, fun with children, and more. The ancient astrologers always wrote having Jupiter in your sign, such a rare event that happens in more than once a decade, is the most powerful aspect you can have to find your one true love.
If you have already found your one true love, you will grow closer in an ever-deepening bond of love. You may now decide to have a baby, and this would be an ideal new moon, March 17, to start trying. If you have children, you will have ways to have fun with them, perhaps by planning a vacation together. If you had put in an application for an adoption, you may hear that your baby is coming now, for your house of children is shimmering as if filled with a thousand sparkling diamonds.
Slowly this bewitching spell you will be under in March will gradually fade and you will need to turn back to reality. I know – I wish this were not true! This is why I want you to find ways to enjoy these fleeting but breathtaking aspects to the fullest in the first three weeks of March while you can.
The month ends on a troublesome full moon in Libra, 11 degrees. This full moon and, found on the opposite side of the sky, both Mars and Saturn will challenge the Sun. Mars and Saturn are both now in your third house of communication and travel. It appears you may have a problem with a client that you are working to sign a contract with at this time. This person seems intransient, unwilling to give an inch. This contract seems attached to a job project and would not be related to your personal life. You do have an element of luck here, though, for Venus will move into Taurus and your partnership sector on March 30, in time to soothe any turbulent waters you may encounter.
You will be of two minds about this client and the deal – sign this no matter what the conditions are, just to get this deal done, or conversely, continue to talk until you get an agreement that is fair to all. The second option is what you will likely choose because Saturn, the slower moving planet, will insist on this outcome. Keep in mind you need to give Venus a chance to work her magic too. If you can, delay signing anything until April 23, when Mars, your secondary ruler, will receive golden beams form Jupiter.
The reason I say this is that I don’t want you to sign anything earlier in April or even at the end of March because Mercury will be retrograde, March 22 to April 15. I also need to point out that Mercury will retrograde in your work projects sector, so this could be another reason, aside from the full moon of March 31, that explains why talks may be about to go haywire. Delays benefit you when Mercury is retrograde, dear Scorpio, so don’t rail against the obstacles – they are there to protect you. Go slowly and you will be glad that you did.
There is another way this full moon could work out, and that is that you may feel under the weather and need rest. If you need surgery or need to see a therapist about a psychological problem you’ve been wrestling with, or dependence on a substance, this full moon may give you a reason to seek medical help. At months’ end seem to be around medical personnel, but this could be because you are there on behalf of someone near and dear whom you love. Full moons bring a quick finish, so be glad anything that comes up will not linger long.
The universe works in mysterious ways, and no one understands this better than you. Scorpio understands the cycles of life and teaches the rest of us to always see beyond the obvious. You know that even untoward events can benefit us, for they help us squarely address situations so that we can move on to live more productive and happier lives.
