I am just coming off attending the United Astrology Conference in Chicago where I met so many astrologers from all over the world – Turkey, Brazil, China, Japan, Canada, England, Australia, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, and of course the United States.

Scorpio is considered one of the savviest financial signs, and this month you will prove this to be true. You will find financial opportunities in June to hold promise, so you will want to investigate what comes up. This emphasis on financial matters actually started late last month, on the May 29 full moon in Sagittarius, 8 degrees. That full moon was a supportive one, brimming with good news, and I hope that was true for you. You may have been paying lots of bills, but you seem to have seen a generous sum come in to you as well.

Now, as you enter June, you should be optimistic about how your career life is proceeding. Venus is about to reach the very pinnacle point of your chart, showing how dearly VIPs value your contributions. Venus will enter this important point when it moves into Leo on June 13, to stay until July 9. If you have an important idea to present to upper management or to a client, that span of time is when to do it.

The new moon will arrive on the same day, June 13, in Gemini 23 degrees, and again focus your attention on money, but this time it will be not salary and personal income but on what is called other people’s money. These types of funds include loans, venture capital, lines of credit, mortgages, scholarships and student financial aid, insurance payouts, inheritance, and similar types of sources of money. The eighth house also rules performance type income, including commissions, licensing fees, royalties, cash advances, and bonuses. If you need money to fund a big dream – to buy a house, fund your college degree, or start your own business, as several examples, this new moon will help you find the money you need.

There is a caveat for some (but not all) Scorpios, and that is you will need to be careful to check out the background of any proposed partner who will be your source of a large sum money or who will manage your money, because the new moon will be in hard angle to Neptune. Neptune is known to cloud information whenever in difficult aspect (as it is now), so you will need to do a little deeper research than usual to check out anyone who will be your financial sponsor or advisor. This may not apply to you, for here I am referring to those who are getting venture capital or other large infusions of cash from a person or company you don’t know well. Money from large companies that you work with all the time would likely be fine sources.

If you were negotiating benefits for a new job or a promotion, you would have to be sure you understand precisely what you are being offered. The eighth house, where the new moon is appearing, rules company benefits. You may innocently assume the perks being given to you are more generous than they really are, so again, ask questions and read all the fine print.

There is some indication that if you are working on a creative project and have applied for part or full funding, a miscommunication may occur, so you will have to be very sure about what happens next. Get things in writing, down to the tiniest detail.

Alternatively, the only other way Neptune could harm you is through identity theft or a financial scam. Obviously – and you already know this – if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. In terms of identity theft, check your statements this month, and you might enlist a watchdog company that monitors your credit and other parts of your identity on the dark net.

Overall, this is a good new moon that will open financial opportunity. I don’t want to scare you! I listed some pitfalls to this new moon due to Neptune’s position, but you wouldn’t likely feel more than one, if any, of the possibilities I listed. I feel you will like the new moon, for this is one of the most important points in the year for you to get the money you need to fulfill a dream. It may take time because a new moon opens a path for six months or more, but the point is that you can be triumphant.

    Mars is your secondary ruler, so when your guardian planet is in retrograde from June 26 to August 27, you will have to hold back in launching any new relationships or ventures, for Mars is the planet that gives you an edge in any competition.

Mars, your ruler, is now in a very long tour of Aquarius that started last month on May 16 and will end on November 15. This is an unusually long visit of Mars to your home sector, and will help you improve your living situation. This suggests you are thinking deeply about a possible move or purchase of a condo or house. Mars will go retrograde, however, from June 26 to August 27, not the best time to make big moves on any new endeavor. This means you would do best to act quickly in June, well in advance of Mars retrograde.

If you have already found a house you would like to close on (or to sign a lease), do so on June 19, a fantastic day to sign a contract, when Mercury will be in superb alignment with Jupiter in Scorpio. Mercury is the planet that rules all agreements, so you would have an ideal day.

If you can act earlier on a home-related action, I have another wonderful day for you, too. On June 1, Mercury and Mars will be in perfect sync, and with Mars in your home sector, all decisions made on this day, whether regarding home, other property, or the welfare of one of your family members, will bode well for a success.

As long as you and I are thinking about the first week of June, when it come to love, June 2 should be an outstandingly romantic day, when Venus in water-sign Cancer will be in heavenly communication with Neptune in water-sign Pisces. That will be quite a glamorous day, as romantic as can be. If you are attached or dating seriously and want to travel on this day to a seaside or lake resort, that would be a great idea. On June 2 together you will weave a precious memory of the love you feel for each other that could last forever.

You can travel on that other dazzling day, Tuesday, June 19. That was the wonder-day I pointed out earlier that is ideal for signing papers. Mercury not only rules contracts, but also travel, so you can use this day to pack and go. June is a great month to travel for pleasure, but on this day, also for business, for you will likely reach accord with your client, and if you are in sales, you’d come back with the order.

Another exciting day will be Friday, June 22, when the Sun in Cancer in your ninth house of travel will receive sparkling vibrations from Uranus, the planet of surprise in your house of partner. On this day, those who are attached will benefit most, but honestly, I think ALL Scorpios will be excited by the surprise, spontaneous events of the June 22.

As an aside, if you are still looking for the ideal house or apartment, or for a vacation home, this day could bring the right property out of the blue. You would have to be decisive and act quickly, lest it be snapped up by someone else. The transiting moon will be in Scorpio, so you will be favored in an outstanding way over Friday, June 22, and also Saturday, June 23.

At month’s end we come to a weighty full moon, June 27. You can feel a full moon earlier or four days after, so you might sense it’s coming by June 23-24, actually a very favorable weekend for you. That full moon comes aligned with Saturn, the planet of serious commitments, responsibility, and long-term solidity. If you are due to marry on this day, you will have thought out your decision and will feel sure about your impending marriage. You both will be very committed to each other.

I recently did my parent’s marriage chart, and discovered they married with Saturn conjunct the transiting moon. (The new moon falling three days earlier, did not have that conjunction, so it was a little different than your situation – but the transiting moon conjunct Saturn was not a new or full moon. A new or full moon usually takes precedence over any transiting moon.) Even so, it was very similar to what is happening at the end of June, here on the full moon July 27.

Transiting Saturn conjunct the moon indicates some sacrifice, but my parents did so joyfully, to provide a better life than they had growing up, to benefit my sister and me. My mother, a Gemini, would have loved to travel more, but that was not in the cards for her, because my father was self-employed and had an imported Italian foods retail shop to run with his brother (my uncle). Since my mother couldn’t travel with my father very much at all, when my sister and I grew up, we took turns taking her on trips, and those were always fun.

My mother and father were married 46 years when my father suddenly died, and my mother lived another 24 years. They loved each other so much that they gave us, their children, a great template of married love to see, feel, and want to emulate. I was very lucky to come from such a strong and supportive family. As an astrologer, I would have been concerned about marrying on a day when Saturn is exactly conjunct the moon, but for them it worked out. If you are getting married this weekend, I wrote this little story for you – you see, everything will work out well.

This full moon of June 27 also has some wonderful aspects so it is not only about Saturn conjunct the full moon and opposition the Sun. While it is true that your career life will be demanding at month’s end, at the same time, Jupiter in Scorpio will be very friendly – outstandingly so – and Jupiter will urge you to go to a faraway land that you’ve never seen but always wanted to go. If you are attached, Uranus in your marriage sector, ruling your mate or long-term established partner, may surprise you in some way involving travel, perhaps with two unexpected tickets to a wonderful location. This gesture could take your breath away.

As you see, you have plenty to look forward to doing in June, so drink it all in, and keep telling yourself to do most of your most important actions early in the month, before Mars goes retrograde. Next month we also will have Mercury retrograde in addition to Mars retrograde, so you see the reason for urgency to get things sewn up now, sooner rather than later, while you can still see lots of progress.

Getting your finances in shape will be your first order of business in June. You may have been saving, but you may not have had time to think about how to best invest your nest egg. The full moon of May 29 might have sparked your thinking about how to make your money grow. At the end of May, you sent out checks, but may have also received a check or two as income.

In your effort to find a broker with fiduciary responsibility that will work to your benefit, you might ask friends and family for references. The new moon of June 13 will begin this trend. However, Neptune will clash with that new moon, so you need to carefully vet any names you are given. Neptune’s presence could make you confused about the right person to choose – do your homework and ask questions. Start looking in early June.

Mars just recently moved into Aquarius, an event that happens once every two years, and the red planet may have you thinking about buying property or investing in your present space. Mars will remain in your home sector for six months, which is far longer than more typical seven weeks Mars usually spends in any one part of the chart. This suggests that you will be weighing options about buying real estate, renting a new apartment, moving, leasing a vacation home, or making any other kinds of living changes.

When Mars retrogrades June 26 to August 27, you may vacillate about your home-related plans. Or, it may be that you put in a bid on a condo that you think will be accepted and then suddenly be told you did not win the bid. It’s not the best time to close on a house, but it is a good time to clarify precisely what you need in residential lifestyle changes. It’s also a good time to browse – you may get a surprise breakthrough on June 22 when the Sun will be in perfect angle to Uranus. If you know that you will not be making any lifestyle changes, you may feel this tour of Mars in Aquarius in a different way. It may be that your mother or father will need your time and attention.

Mars is your secondary ruler, so when your guardian planet is in retrograde, you will have to hold back, for Mars is the planet that gives you an edge in any competition. Mars allows you to push forward courageously so that you can succeed brilliantly, but when Mars sleeps, you must hold back or proceed slowly. You simply won’t have the high-octane energy of Mars behind you from June 26 to August 27, and even then, Mars will take time to ramp up to former speed. This tells you to conclude your biggest actions early in June, or to table important decisions, actions, and launches to September.

If you hope to travel this month, you can – do so in early month while Venus is in Cancer, until June 13. Jupiter in Scorpio will be in ideal position to Venus and to Neptune all month, making for a heavenly, romantic trip, especially the first week.

The full moon on June 27 will bring a serious, binding commitment, verbally or in writing. Saturn will be conjunct the full moon, so what you decide will be in place for years. Jupiter in Scorpio is in sweet angle to this full moon, giving you an optimistic and happy outlook on life, and coaxing you to travel far and wide. You seem to have travel on your agenda now or in July.

At the same time, Uranus, beaming from your collaboration / marriage sector on the full moon June 27, will beam goodness to that full moon, adding a lightness and element of unexpected happiness. Good news about your career is likely to come up at the same time. You may receive a marriage proposal, actually getting married, or you may be entering into an important business relationship. Life is always full of surprises, and at this full moon, you are likely about to be tickled to hear about one of them.
