The very best part of this month will arrive at month’s end, at the full moon in Scorpio on April 29. You and I will talk about that full moon, but let’s save that good news for later. This month has tricky planets at the start and middle weeks, but those planets will begin behaving like little lambs by month’s end, and bring you a very positive experience. Keep the faith, dear Scorpio.
The month starts out with a full moon in Libra, which technically appeared on the last day of last month, March 31. A full moon will be influential for four days, so as you enter April, you may feel in need of rest. The full moon in Libra will be in hard angle to Saturn and Mars in Aries. With a packed third house of communication, you may feel overworked, or running from pillar to post to please everyone, with pressure on you from clients or higher-ups, and those at home, too. You want to succeed, but you will keep facing roadblocks as you go along in the first half of April, and you will need to summon your resourcefulness and creativity to turn things in your favor.
You may be close to sealing a business deal but encountering last-minute demands that may make you feel broadsided by changes the client wants to make to the deal. Alternatively, if any political intrigue has been happening at the office behind the scenes, or if anyone has withheld information from you, the full moon will bring out in the open the facts so that you can see what is going on, address it, and protect yourself.
On April 2, Mars and Saturn will be conjunct in Capricorn, a classic aspect that refers to injury through falls, harming bones (especially the knees), and teeth. You have this aspect in your third house of short distance travel, so it would be a good idea to have your car looked over by a mechanic before leaving. Check hotel accommodations and flight schedules, verify that all addresses are current, and get detailed driving instructions. Don’t over-rely too much on GPS. Confirm all meetings at the last minute.
Mercury will retrograde during the first half, a trend that started March 22 and that will extend until April 15. This time, Mercury will retrograde in your sixth house of work assignments, so this is where things are likely to get delayed, changed, or go off the rails. You may find that clients are indecisive and changeable, even if this behavior is not characteristic of your client. Alternatively, you may not get a project that was promised to you. Or, you may be working on an assignment that the client says she wants completely redone and taken in a new and different direction. Ah, this all is part of Mercury retrograde.
Do not buy any electronic items while Mercury is retrograde, because Mercury rules the gears and electronic impulses in those types of products. Either the electronic item won’t work properly, or you will have second thoughts, and perhaps feel you chose the wrong model. Wait until April 23 to buy what you need, for that date would be great for purchasing electronics.
April 23 would also be perfect for signing a contract, for Mars, your ruler and planet of action and competition, will receive golden signals from Jupiter, the great good fortune planet that often brings healthy profits from deals and launches started on a day that has this aspect. Indeed, Mars conjunct Jupiter means action leads to money. (Mercury goes direct on April 15, so you would be free and clear to make strong competitive actions by this time of the month, April 23.)
It would the right time to take a new permanent job during this time, April 23, but if you are desperate for the salary and need the job (we have all been there), take it during Mercury retrograde – you can always change jobs again later if the job proves not to be the one you had in your heart. If you know the person who is hiring you from your past, you would be fine to take it – you are not starting a new relationship but extending a former one. Mercury cannot hurt you.
The sixth house, where Mercury will retrograde, rules workaday projects that come across your desk. It also rules something else – your health and well-being and the steps you take to boost your health. If you get medical tests results back that seem wrong to you in some way, ask to have the tests repeated. Sometimes a diagnosis is hard to make because the lab makes mistakes or leaves the sample out on the counter too long.

The new moon of April 15 will occur in your sixth house and will likely lead to an approval of an important entrepreneurial project. That new moon will be in Aries, 26 degrees, conjunct Uranus, making it volatile and unpredictable, but on the flip side, highly creative and new – it looks like no one (or very few people) has any experience in the subject matter you will soon take on. You will be walking down a new path, perhaps in Artificial Intelligence or other high tech area, and you will feel pride that you are among the first to be chosen to learn and grow in a new area. In your sixth house of work and health will be the Sun, new moon, Uranus, and Mercury, so clearly your mind will be on getting work projects done after mid-month.
If you feel life at the office has become somewhat chaotic, go with the flow. Whatever obstacle comes up, or whatever unpredictable events take place, keep in mind that a new moon sets up a trend for six months, so this is how things will have to be for a while. It will take time for things to calm down. If you are in sales, marketing, public relations, travel, telecommunications, or related communication-oriented fields, you will have to rely on your resourcefulness to get over the speed bumps that come up.
Ancient astrologers always wrote that when you hosted Jupiter in your own sign, as you do in 2018 until November 8, 2018, a once-in-twelve-year privilege, you are the most favored sign to find true love. Circulate, dear Scorpio!
You are fortunate to have Venus in your seventh house of marriage and business partnerships – you can find a solution that will benefit both sides if you take your time sifting through the facts. Look to other people’s motives and areas that seem to be most important to them – that will give you a clue of which way to go.
You seem eager to get deals done, but after this new moon, someone who is very demanding will take you by surprise with the demands that this client feels have to be met. Everyone of every sign will encounter several obstacles this month – don’t feel singled out.
You do have an ace in your pocket, for Jupiter, the planet of gifts and luck, will be in perfect angle to Pluto all month. (Pluto and Jupiter move very slowly, with Jupiter taking 12 years to revolve around the Sun and Pluto taking 248 years to make the same journey.) Pluto is Scorpio’s ruling planet, so the fact that Pluto will be working with Jupiter, and both planets are associated with abundant profits, is such a good sign that your fortunes are looking up.
All year so far, Jupiter and Pluto have been in conversation. First, Jupiter and Pluto were in alignment on January 15, then again they will be again in alignment this month on April 14. Finally these two planets will meet one more time on September 12 of this year. Your fortunes will be buoyed beautifully through mid-September and perhaps a few weeks longer than that, for there will be glow in the embers after these two planets part. Pluto and Jupiter are known to boost the stock market.

Browse shops on April 18, when Uranus, the planet of surprise, will be in lovely cooperation with the authoritative Sun. Happy serendipity will reign. Now we get to the lovely full moon that I talked about earlier in your report – it arrives April 29, in Scorpio at 10 degrees. You only get one full moon in your sign a year, so this one will bring to fullness something dearly important for four days after it appears. Unlike the other full and new moon this month that are highly unstable, this one brings rock solid, comforting results that will also bring long lasting results.
If you are given important papers to sign at the full moon, April 29, and your lawyer says they are ready for your signature, you can sign immediately. By month’s end, Mercury will have turned direct on April 15, so there will be no more delays on your horizon.
Also, Mars, your secondary ruler, is standing by to boost your efforts at this lovely April 29 full moon. You can jump into action and make a lot of progress. Mars will be in the same house that Saturn is touring now – your third house of communication, negotiation, and travel. There are many new things you might do. You may decide to give your app developer the final go-ahead to release your new app, unveil your new website, start posting in a social media venue that is new to you, give a speech to an important group, give a presentation, sign papers, see great publicity on you come out, hand in a final report or manuscript, or travel. This would all happen over this full moon, plus or minus four days.
If your birthday falls on November 1, plus or minus four days, you will notice the news of this new moon in a direct way, and chances are, you will like what happens. (I cannot see your entire chart from where I sit, as each natal horoscope is unique, but from where I sit, it looks really good!) The same is true if you have Scorpio rising, 9 degrees or the natal moon in Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer 9 degrees, and in each case, a plus or minus four days.
Now let’s talk about love and romance. More good things are due near the last third of the month. Jupiter in Scorpio in your first house of personality and appearance will be edging closer to a perfect trine (ideal harmony) with Neptune in Pisces. Neptune, ruling unconditional love, is now in your solar true love sector (fifth house). Jupiter and Neptune are slow moving planets, so you will feel this glow intensely in the second half – you don’t have to have a precise mathematical hit to reap all the benefits.
This is a rare, lyrical, and poetic aspect, Jupiter in conversation with Neptune, just made for you. This alignment of Neptune and Jupiter could bring an amazing first meeting – Cupid is out and about in late month, just for you. The ancients always wrote that when you had Jupiter in your own sign, as you do in Scorpio in 2018 until November 8, 2018, you are the most favored sign to find true love. You are the celestial favorite, dear Scorpio.
Jupiter started to tour Scorpio on October 10, 2017 last year, so some readers may have already met their one-and-only. As you see, Jupiter spends approximately one year in a sign and won’t be back for twelve years to Scorpio. Circulate if you have not found your true north. You have Neptune precisely where he can do the most good for you!
If you are attached, your love will grow deeper, and it would be a great idea to take a memorable vacation soon. Venus is now in your marriage / established partnership house until April 24, making your interactions smooth as silk. Venus will make a number of lovely aspects to other planets, too, so let’s look at those days.
On Saturday, April 7, Venus and Saturn will combine forces in a magically friendly way, and on this day, promises made will be promises kept.
Put a star on Thursday, April 12, when Venus and Neptune will dance an enchanting dance of love. This day will be filled with glamour, and you will be covered with a flurry of dazzlingly beautiful silver pixie dust.
Both these days will be ideal for attached Scorpios, so if that’s you, delight your partner with an unexpected romantic night out.
SUMMARY
The month starts softly. The full moon of March 31, still strong for several days at the start of April, will urge you to get rest. The volume of demands that life has asked of you has been dialed up to loud, so giving yourself several hours of peace will be welcome and restorative. If you have children, treat yourself to babysitting help – this will be a necessity not a luxury. Saturn will move into hard angle to the Sun in early month too, bringing evidence of how hard you’ve been working on a daily basis. The strain of responsibility you are carrying will be noticeable to you, another reason you need to take a break.
If you need to sign an agreement – very possible – with your ruler, Mars conjunct slow-as-a-snail Saturn on April 2, you will have to study every word. Don’t let anyone rush you. You may hesitate and not know which way to go next. Jupiter’s position in Scorpio in conversation with Pluto in Capricorn reveals that this deal likely has huge profit potential but only if you hammer it out properly so that both sides can benefit. This is assuming both sides will give a strong effort – the reason you are joining forces. Sign later in the month, on my favorite day for you April 23.
The third house, where so much activity will be centered, also rules your sister, brother, and cousin. You may be hearing news from this person who you love, and you will want to hear all of it. You may be able to help if your sibling or cousin has a dilemma.
Mercury will be retrograde in Aries, in your work project sector until April 15, a trend that started last month on March 22. It is never wise to sign papers with Mercury retrograde, because flaws soon show up that neither side anticipated, and the deal would have to be revisited, and changed if signed when Mercury, the planet ruling contracts, is weak in retrograde.
A work project that will come up after Mercury goes direct, on or in the weeks that follow April 15, will likely surprise you in every way, along with everyone on your team. The nature of this assignment is interesting because it will force you down a completely new path, possibly in new technology or the digital world, one that few others have any knowledge or experience, and it will cast you as pathfinder. You will like the independence you be given to work as you see fit and to hire the people you need to make the assignment a success.
The full moon in Scorpio will arrive on April 29, bringing so many of your efforts over past weeks and months to fruition. Something dearly important to you will bring closure, and it should be a gratifying moment.
Soon you appear to be focused on a business partner or expert you want to work with, or you may become more serious about making a romantic commitment in your personal life, such as to become engaged or married.
If you are already married, it appears your mate has good news for you, and as part of the news, it looks like you’ll both be traveling together to an overseas location soon. Travel will take you off the hard work track you’ve been on lately – a break in the routine will be something you’ll appreciate very much. With Venus in lovely angle to Saturn on April 7, you have a day when promises will be warm and lasting.
On April 12, Venus and Neptune will produce one of the most sparkling nights of the month, and because Venus is in your committed partnership / marriage house, attached Scorpios will have the edge.
Although others might have a tough time with April, I don’t think you will. You have enough planets in the perfect position to help you, sometimes in the eleventh hour. Jupiter and Pluto is one of the most important – it’s a whopper of an aspect meeting on April 14, and promises more money to come from deals you make now.
