Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

This will be a landmark month for you. Two eclipses are due this month, and of the two, the first one to come by on February 10, in Leo 23 degrees, will be the most important one for you. Until now, for two years, the eclipses have been falling along the Virgo and Pisces axis, but the solar eclipse in Pisces 8 degrees, due on February 26, will be the last eclipse in that family of signs for the coming nine years or so. This means that in the coming two years, the new eclipses will be in Leo and your opposite sign of Aquarius. This almost assures you that you will have one or more new elements coming into your life, and that your lifestyle will evolve now. No more humdrum days – things will start to move for you now.

Eclipses force us to move forward – you will feel as through time is moving at the speed of light this month. Our entire concept of time seems to change at eclipse time, and because the February 10 eclipse is in Leo, you are likely to feel this one more. Now while it is true that eclipses will bring changes that require adjustments, both eclipses this month will be so very positive that you will likely be thrilled with the confluence of events. When I looked at this eclipse series, I was amazed. I will describe what I saw and why you should be eager to see what comes up.

Let me digress for just a second, for I have to put this month in context for you. The new moon that just occurred on January 27 was in Aquarius, the sign ruling your committed partnerships. If you are dating, or in an established relationship, you may be getting serious about committing to marriage to someone you hold dear. Most of the planets are on the western side of your chart, putting the emphasis on your partner. That new moon was a positive one, so if you are not thinking about marriage – yet – it looks like your partner is getting mighty serious. Or, you may be thinking of forming an important business partnership or collaboration. If you are already married or committed to another person in a business relationship, that person may have important news for you this month, and it is likely to be news that makes you happy, for it will allow you to open the door to new opportunities and a way to feel more united to your partner in heart and purpose.

If your birthday falls on July 30, plus or minus five days (the closer to July 30, the better), you will notice this energy swirling about you at the start of February in the strongest way possible. The same is true if you have Leo rising, or Aquarius rising 8 degrees, or the moon in Leo or Aquarius 8 degrees, or a natal planet at that degree in Leo, Aries, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius at 8 degrees. Give all these signs in the list a plus or minus five degrees.

I particularly like your prospects in love, for Venus will be in fire-sign Aries for months, an ideal place for you to find love or encourage the present love you share to grow. Venus works best when she’s orbiting side by side her lover Mars, for together they form an equation that brings on the spark of love. Usually the universe directs Venus and Mars to complete different assignments, causing each to orbit alone in completely different directions in the sky. This month, Venus and Mars will be joyfully together and meeting up in a perfect constellation for you, dear Leo – fire-sign Aries! Can this month possibly get any better? Actually, yes! I have more to tell you!

Your big moment will arrive at the full moon eclipse Leo 22 degrees on February 10. You will begin to see yourself in a new light, and you may shuffle your life goals to prioritize them in a new way. Life is often so busy that we rarely stop to see how far we’ve come, but at eclipse time – when the eclipse is in your own sign – you have a chance to catch up and see your true image that you are presenting to the world. You may suddenly start to appreciate the range of your talents and all you have accomplished in recent years, sure to make you feel more confident about the future. You will be energized too – and soon your timing to act will be right. Clearly something is reaching culmination, and it is sure to be dearly important to you. This eclipse is falling near Valentine’s Day, February 14, so you may be getting engaged. Valentine’s Day brings the transiting moon to Libra, the marriage sign, and because Valentine’s Day will be friendly to you, you may be thinking about making a commitment so that you can be together forever. Your timing would be right on target, too.

The reason I like this eclipse so much is that it has the support of three major planets, which is so rare that this is quite remarkable. Uranus will be in ideal angle to the full moon and Sun (your ruler), bringing you surprise news from someone in a distant city or news that you will suddenly travel to a distant point very soon. Saturn will be friendly too, from your house of love, and give you the impetus to create greater stability in your relationship. If you don’t have a close relationship, then you can feel this comforting stability from a creative project you are involved in now. Saturn and Uranus will be beautifully oriented to each other and to the full moon, creating a golden triangle in the sky.

The days that circle this eclipse will be insanely favorable for you. Put a gold star on February 9, when the Sun and Uranus will be in conversation, sparking all sorts of innovative ideas in you. You may learn you are about to travel overseas, or if you are in a court case, you will get good news about the verdict or how the case is going on this day (or close to it). Are you in college or hoping to go to college or graduate school? February 10 is a day to hear exciting news. Nothing that happens on this eclipse will be expected, but that is what will make this day and the eclipse so outstanding and memorable.

The eclipse is February 10, and on February 11, the Sun and Jupiter will work together, giving you a chance to travel far and wide, and if you go away this month, your accommodations will be superb. Everything about the trip will please you, and you may be giddy with happiness. Because this will be such a big month for Leo and commitment, I am wondering if you are thinking of eloping and taking an enchanting honeymoon. It’s possible! Think it through, though – speaking as a mother (not your astrologer), your families will want to be with you when you wed!

You will begin to see yourself in a new light, and you may shuffle your life goals to prioritize them in a new way.

If you travel for business, you will come back with the order. If you need to sign a contract, this would be a good day, February 11, but because this day falls so close to the eclipse, I would rather you give the date you plan to sign a space of a few days. Generally, I don’t suggest you sign on an eclipse because events move so quickly that you may miss a detail that you will want to catch and fix if necessary. We all want to rush at a full moon eclipse, but when it comes to signing documents, would be best to resist that impulse. A lot of dust is kicked up on eclipses, even friendly ones like this one, and in the confusion, it is hard to see the road ahead. That’s why I want you to wait a few days until the dust settles. Still, don’t get thrown by what I am saying – this eclipse is the answer to your prayers, a truly wonderful event.

On Monday, February 13, Saturn and the Sun will be in sync, bringing long-range stability to whatever you will do at the time. Saturn is in your fifth house, a place in the chart that governs the romantic person you love (but are not married to yet) and also rules your children (or pregnancy) and your creativity. All three – together or separately – will be showered with golden luck. Keep reminding yourself that the Sun is your ruling star, giving it extra weight for you. Although everybody of every sign will benefit in some way from events that are triggered by the February 10 full moon eclipse, you will benefit more. Eclipses bring events we long remember – they usually coincide with the major life developments. Think back to 1998, nineteen years ago, which was the last time we had an eclipse in Leo at this degree and date. Thing will be different, as the other planets have since changed position, but you might be able to discern a theme, and later you can see if the dates, February 26, 1998 and February 26, 2017, have something common. This is what astrologers do – we look back and we look forward – and in so doing we learn how aspects deliver their news.

All these aspects will blend together because they are arriving so close to one another. In other words, these aspects will be like magical ingredients being swirled into a delicious cake batter.

The closer your birthday falls to August 14, the more you will feel the eclipse in Leo this month and in weeks ahead. Eclipses in a series (in this case, the Leo and Aquarius series) will always work together, building on the one that last appeared, pushing you forward on to a new road, bringing new elements to your life. The next eclipses will be on August 7 and 21, and those will be in Aquarius and Leo respectively. If your birthday is near any of these dates, your life is about to move on fast forward at dizzying speeds. The same is true if you have Leo or Aquarius rising at 22 degrees, the moon in Leo or Aquarius at 22 degrees, or a natal planet at that degree in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius. Allow a plus or minus five degrees in all cases.

The second eclipse will be a new moon eclipse, February 26, in Pisces 8 degrees. As a Leo, you tend to feel solar eclipses strongly and find them important because you are ruled by the Sun (and this is a solar eclipse). This highly friendly solar event will open a new path for you in regard to money. The kind of money this eclipse will focus you on is eighth house money – venture capital, insurance payouts, prize winnings, inheritance, commission, company benefits, loans, mortgage, and the like. Neptune will be conjunct this eclipse, so if you are a Leo who is an actor, or work in the cultural arts, you may make a big, profitable sale and come away with a tidy sum of money.

If you do not work in the arts, then you need to be more careful about financial dealings near the eclipse and even in weeks ahead. Neptune is the planet of inspiration and creativity but it can cause havoc when mixed with financial deals that are not related to the areas that Neptune rules. The world of cold hard cash does not mix well with Neptune. For example, if you have to sort out an insurance claim or an estate for an inheritance, you may encounter a mystery or two that is not adding up. You would have to dig around to get to the bottom of this inconsistency or missing information before you can come to a final conclusion. Don’t let anyone rush you. This is a full moon, so the pressure will be on to sign, but take a close look at what you are signing off on. I say this only if you are not involved in any sort of creative effort. If you are, Neptune will help you.

You have a lot of energy in your ninth house of travel, so it seems almost certain you will be going to the airport to fly to a distant point. Mars recently moved into this house, so a sudden opportunity to pack and go might come up on or near February 26. On this day, Mars will conjunct Uranus, a completely unpredictable aspect. I like that these two planets are meeting in Aries, a fire sign like yours, so while other zodiac signs may experience an event that is either very happy or very rattling, you seem to do well under this aspect, doubly so if your birthday falls on August 14, plus or minus two days.

If you are not traveling, you may hear sudden news about a media assignment (or you may be the subject of excellent publicity). Alternatively, you may hear good news involving a university situation or legal case.

Your finances should do very well on February 21 and 23. On the first date, February 21, Mercury will converse with Jupiter, triggering good news regarding your salary and personal savings. Or, you may purchase something at a very pleasing price. The second date brings a collaboration between Mercury, planet of deals and communication, and Saturn, bringing a promise that is likely to last forever.

I am so excited for you, dear Leo! You have an amazing month in store!

Summary

As the month opens, you are thinking about your special partner in love or business. If you are ready to get engaged, the new moon of January 27, still very strong as you enter February, will coax you to start to plan an enchanting wedding. Valentine’s Day may be the day a sparkling diamond may appear, and if so, it would happen thanks to the full moon lunar eclipse in Leo on February 10. (If your birthday falls within five days of August 14, you will feel this eclipse directly.)

Eclipses often speed up timetables and change priorities. A full moon in Leo would always bring you into the spotlight, but a full moon eclipse is even more likely to bring on a major life event. This February 10 eclipse will send a beautiful beam to Saturn, the planet of long-term gain, and to Uranus, the planet of surprise. Sudden news will likely make you happy and help you build a firm foundation to your future, especially in terms of a relationship important to you. If you are already committed, you will soon hear news you won’t expect from your partner. If you are not dating and not near the point of getting married, you may acquire a collaborator, business partner, agent, manager, or headhunter to help you get ahead. As you see, the partnership / marriage house can help you build a personal or professional life – you have the choice.

Mars and Venus, along with Uranus, are moving through your ninth house of travel, so chances are you will be off on an important trip abroad this month. Or, you may be working with foreign people abroad over email, phone, and or by hosting visiting executives in your city. This is a refreshing, broadening influence you will likely enjoy.

Additionally, Venus and Mars, called the cosmic lovers that love to be together, are in a fire sign like yours and will be a great advantage. Take heart, dear Leo. Although this month favors those who are already coupled up, or who are ready to wed, if you are single, this month you have a big boost from Venus and Mars to make it happen. Love is most likely to happen on a trip, or if you are attached, Venus and Mars will see that passions of love will be fanned to a bonfire by traveling together.

The second eclipse is a solar new moon eclipse in Pisces and will fill your eighth house of other people’s money. Neptune will be very close to this solar eclipse, so you may sell an important artistic expression, such as a painting, body of photography, lyrics to a song, a finished screenplay, or a novel, as some examples. If you are an actor, you may get the role of a lifetime. If the money you find yourself discussing at and after the February 26 new moon solar eclipse is not related to the arts – Neptune’s domain – be careful, as Neptune has another side, and is known to be able to obscure financial facts and fog the deal.

Your sign is ruled by the Sun, so aspects involving the Sun are very important to you. This month we have four. Watch these dates: February 9, the Sun and Uranus will be beautifully aligned, giving you happy surprises from authority figures. On February 11, the Sun and Jupiter will be in sync, most likely one of the best days of the month, when travel and contractual agreements serve you well. On February 13, the Sun and Saturn will support one another, adding forever-ever stability. On the eclipse February 26, the Sun and Neptune will be very close, igniting your imagination.

Are you excited yet? I am – for you! This month could change everything!
