If there is one element that makes you excited above all other things, it’s travel. Sagittarius is the foreign travel sign, and you are truly a citizen of the world. This is why you will be deliriously happy this month, for February will be all about exciting travel that will come up for you. Your home will also be a big focus too, and despite all this commotion, with just a little effort on both fronts, you can be enveloped in the warm feeling of love and affection, too. No doubt about it, February will be a big, happy month.

Let’s start from the top. As you enter this month, the new moon that appeared just a few days prior to the start of February, on January 27, lit your third house of communication, negotiation, and agreements. New moons open a door to much new energy, and you will feel it as you enter February. You may be looking over papers to sign, and it would be the right time to do so, too. The planet covering agreements, Mercury, is moving at strong, sure orbit, after having been retrograde during late December through early January.

It always takes a planet time to get back to full power, and Mercury just resumed full power by January 28. Venus will go retrograde from March 4 to April 15. Because Venus rules your workaday projects sector (sixth house), you need Venus to be strong, as Venus has a part to play in generating profits. As you see, you have a good moment now to sign, and I particularly like February 21 and 23 to do so. More about those days later.

This same house that will be so lit up rules short distance travel, so you may be packing your bags to go out of town for a several days. The reason for travel in early month seems to be for love, not business, and if you go, it will be an ideal weekend, February 4-5.

Early in February will be a great time to set up your new social media page, or join a social media venue that you’ve not delved into. Or, you may think about an app you’d like to code yourself, or have done for you. Your office life will be very busy, that’s for sure.

New moons bring opportunities to begin ventures, and this was a favorable one – the one January 27 – so there’s no reason to wait. There is only one caveat: it’s usually wise not to initiate precisely on an eclipse, whether solar or lunar eclipses – and we will have two eclipses this month – so do your best to leave a space of days between the eclipses of February 10 and 26. As I said earlier, February 21 is a great day, and so is February 23.

If your birthday falls on November 29, plus or minus four days, you will benefit in a very noticeable way and can take advantage of all that is being offered. The same is true If you have Sagittarius rising at 8 degrees, the moon in Sagittarius at 8 degrees, or a natal planet in Sagittarius, Aries, Leo, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius at 8 degrees, and in all cases, allow a plus or minus five degrees.

Your big day this month will arrive at the full moon lunar eclipse in Leo 23 degrees on February 10. This eclipse is the most helpful eclipse that I have ever seen. Most eclipses set up challenges, for their job is to push us forward and to shake us out of routine. This eclipse is a peach, and may send you quite far, possibly on a very exciting trip.

Anything that happens on or very close to eclipse time usually has great importance, so if you do travel on or near February 10, for any reason, it seems to be a landmark trip that you will long remember and that might change your life in some way, possibly through the new perspective you receive. You may go for pleasure, or you may go to negotiate a deal face-to-face. No matter, whatever you do, it will go well. Your ruler, Jupiter, will be in fantastic angle to the Sun and moon, from your house of hopes and wishes.

    On February 21 and 23, Mercury will receive a beam first from Jupiter and then Saturn. Mercury rules your career honors sector, so you can expect some sort of breakthrough or victory that will become a jewel in your crown. Exciting!

Jupiter, the great good fortune planet, is currently in your eleventh house of friends, so a friend may be instrumental in the happiness or victory you experience in mid-month. This same house – the eleventh house – is the house of hopes and wishes, so you may, at long last, see the realization of a long-held dream. The day after the eclipse, February 11, Jupiter and the Sun will be in sync, making that date a rare one in its ability to give you outstanding favor for you.

There is another element to this extraordinary full moon lunar eclipse – which is worth three normal full moons rolled into one – and that is, this full moon will be working with Saturn and Uranus. Together all three, Saturn, Uranus, and the full moon, will create a golden triangle in the sky, which is as rare as it will be incredibly positive for you. The lunar eclipse will culminate something in your ninth house – a long trip, an agreement with a person or company based overseas, a court case or legal action, a publishing or broadcasting project, or happy news related to an academic goal. One of these areas will draw your attention.

What makes this so interesting and exciting is that Saturn, planet of stability and long-term thinking, is still in your sign of Sagittarius and will be beautifully angled to that eclipse in your ninth house, giving you a feeling that you know your own mind and that a deeply held desire is being respected. Events will work in your favor. At the same time, Uranus, planet of surprise, still touring your fifth house of romance, will bring a big element of love into the picture – if single you may meet someone new, and if dating, the sparks of love will bond you closer through unexpected developments. Events that you didn’t assume would click into place now will – much to your amazement. I am stunned at how beautiful this lunar eclipse will be for you.

This lunar eclipse, February 10, will fall very close to Valentine’s Day, February 14, and is within mathematical tolerance of that day for lovers (being within the enchanting romantic surprise episode over Valentine’s Day – a date that you may long remember after this month is over).

If your birthday falls on December 14, plus or minus five days, you will feel the effects of this eclipse very directly, and in a very positive way. The closer your birthday falls to December 14, the better. The same would be true if you have Sagittarius rising 22 degrees, or the moon in Sagittarius at that degree, or a natal planet in Sagittarius, Aries, Leo, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius at 22 degrees. In all cases, allow a plus or minus five days.

Mars will help love along too, for as the planet of passion and energy, set to tour your house of true love for the first time in two years, the stage is set perfectly for love. This is a trend of Mars in Aries that started January 28 and will continue to March 9. Remarkably, Venus will tour the same house with her lover Mars. These two planets adore being together, and when they are, they spark the first sparks of love. This is so exciting! I know I am gushing, but I have even more to say!

Venus will enter Aries just a few days after Mars entered Aries. In the case of Venus, she will enter on February 3 and stay to June 6. Typically, Venus spends only four weeks in a sign, but as you see, Venus will spend four months in your fifth house of true love. The reason for this long stay of Venus is that Venus will retrograde from March 4 to April 15, and during this period you may re-examine your feelings for someone you are currently dating. (This does not affect married couples, as marriage falls in a different part of your chart, the seventh house.) You may pause a relationship if you feel it has been going forward too quickly.

Still, Venus will go direct April 15, and become strong by May 18, and you will still have until June 6 to enjoy Venus in divine-for-you Aries, so you will come out ahead. Uranus, planet of surprise, is also in your true love sector, and as I mentioned earlier, Uranus is to play a big role in the February 10 full moon lunar eclipse. These are very glamourous stars, twinkling just for you.

There is one day I would like you to watch, February 26. This date is also the date of the solar eclipse, but is unrelated to the aspect I will now describe. Mars and Uranus will conjoin and set off fireworks in your house of true love, but I cannot tell if the effects will be positive or negative on your relationship. In your favor is that you are a fire sign, and Mars and Uranus will be meeting in Aries, a fire sign – so far so good. Mars and Uranus will meet at 23 degrees, the same degree as the February 10 lunar eclipse. This tells me that something surprising will come up – you may meet someone new if you are single and looking, or you may hear about a pregnancy, or good news about a child you have now. It is also possible a wonderful creative idea will occur to you and change the course of an ongoing project.

Nevertheless, you might want to keep your Sagittarian bluntness a little muted, for if you say something that hurts your sweetheart’s feelings, a disagreement could erupt and escalate quickly. I am betting if you were born near December 14, the effects of Mars in conjunction with Uranus will be thrilling. I can never tell with Uranus, as this planet of unpredictable behavior can make things go either way.

I will get to the solar eclipse in a minute, but first I want to tell you why I have mentioned the two days, February 21 and February 23, twice so far. These days should be fantastic for your career, for Mercury will receive a signal first from Jupiter and then Saturn respectively. Mercury rules your tenth house of career honors, so you can expect some sort of breakthrough or victory.

On February 21, a friend or club you belong to might be instrumental in your success. This day has great profit potential, due to the involvement of Jupiter. Use the second date, February 23, if you hope for a very long agreement or commitment. Mercury also rules your house of partnership and marriage, so these days will be special for forming a bond with someone in business or in love, for any relationship you set up on one of these two days is likely to stand up to the test of time.

Now let’s look at the new moon solar eclipse on February 26, in Pisces 8 degrees. This eclipse will bring a new start in your home area, and may bring a move or the start of work on your house, possibly with a new addition or renovation of part of the house or apartment. If you are doing decorating work, you will make exceptionally graceful design choices.

I worry that Neptune will conjoin the new moon solar eclipse, so you have to keep checking your pipes, water supply, and possibilities for flood damage. I know I keep saying that you need homeowners or renters insurance to protect you from water damage, just in case. With Neptune so close to this Sun and new moon solar eclipse, Neptune will want to come in and bring the sea with him. As long as you are covered for all sorts of water possibilities, from drinking water to mold, floods to a leaky roof, you will be fine.

Keep in mind that with all eclipses, you can have news one month to the day earlier in about 10 percent of cases, on the day, plus or minus about five days in 70 percent, and in 20 percent of the cases, one month to the day later, plus or minus five days – bringing you to the time near March 26 next month. (The same is true for the February 10 eclipse – they all work that way, but the February 10 eclipse has so many planets working with it, it’s extraordinary, so I feel you will feel the effects this month.

As you see this is a big month! You can improve your home and see a breakthrough in your career, and love will arrive on the wings of the angels. This is a very special month, one of my favorite of the year for you, dear Sagittarius.

As the month opens, consider treating yourself to a change of scene. The new moon of January 27 is coaxing you to take a weekend getaway, and it would be good for you. The reason for your travels appears to be for purely pleasure, for your fifth house of true love will be lit brilliantly all month by none other than the cosmic lovers, Venus and Mars.

Venus and Mars is exactly where you need them to be, in fire-sign Aries, to amp up your magnetism to maximum levels. If you are single, you should do very well indeed, for someone new appears to be at the very next party. Attached? You will find your partner to be in a highly romantic mood, and any steps you take to surprise your partner will be reciprocated in kind. Valentine’s Day may be a banner day for you, for the moon will be in highly compatible Libra, and the other planets have set the scene for spinning a tapestry about your love life, made of golden threads.

The pace at work will be hectic in the first ten days, with overflowing email, texts, meetings, and much to do. Your mind will crackle with ideas, so share them, for those ideas will be lauded by higher-ups. If self-employed, the start of February would be the right time to start an advertising, publicity, or self-promotion campaign. Do presentations and sales calls, have lunch with clients, old and new prospective ones. You can get the attention of the right people and win prestigious new business, so give your plan all you have to give.

February has two major eclipses, one February 10 in Leo, that will direct your mind to things going on in a foreign country. You may be given an assignment to work for a company abroad that has outposts in your country, or you may need to travel overseas to do the project. It is just as possible that you may be working on a publishing or broadcasting assignment that brings in contractual talks near February 10. The person who will trigger the opportunity will be a friend.

The February 10 eclipse will be broadening, and will bring news that surprises you. News will come on suddenly and without warning. If you are looking for funding for a project or educational goal, it may come at this time. No matter if your talks are centered on a contractual or a salary matter, Jupiter will be smiling on you, so any money offered would be generous. Saturn is being supportive, too, giving your efforts a firm foundation. An eclipse this friendly is unusual, so even if the changes put on you are enforced, you will win out in the end.

The second eclipse, February 26, can have a massive effect on where you live, with whom, or in what style. The solar eclipse comes conjunct Neptune, so it will be vital that you get a water damage insurance rider built into your homeowner or renters policy quickly. With the Sun, new moon, Mercury, and Neptune all in the watery sign of Pisces in your home sector, be safe rather than sorry. This is also a highly creative, lyrical vibration, so if you are moving, renovating, or doing repair work, the outcome that happens later in the year should please you, and your design choices will be heavenly.
