You have been dealing with a heavy workload and many changes lately, so it’s understandable if you want to take a moment or two to catch your breath during the first week of February. You are getting closer to your birthday, and it’s a perfect time to think about what you would hope to achieve by this time next year. The new moon of January 27, still strong as you enter February, has put you in the mood for reflection, considered a fine way to plan your new birthday year for maximum results and happiness.

There are many fun questions you can ask yourself. What was your finest success in 2016? What was your biggest frustration? Who (or what) brought you the biggest joy last year? What are you proudest of for having done in 2016? Is there anything you’d like to change or delete moving forward so that you can make room for new experiences? What is your #1 priority to tackle first as you begin your birthday year? What is the single thing you are most looking forward to doing in 2017?

Financially, it appears you have had a number of large expenses lately, and those are being caused by Mars in Aries, a constellation Mars recently entered on January 28 and will remain in until March 9. Having Mars in this area of the chart always forces up spending, but you may have planned for some of the check writing you are doing now. It will be likely be comforting for you to know that your expenses will normalize after March 6. I know money may be a bit of a sore topic now, but the situation is not nearly as severe as you may assume it to be. You are inches away from victory.

Here is why I say that: Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, is currently in your eighth house of other people’s money, ruling commissions, bonus, prize winnings, mortgage, credit, loans, inheritance, court settlements and division of property in a divorce, grants, and other income that would come to you outside of salary. This area will be golden for you through September and early October, so at some point, you will be outstandingly lucky with all these types of funds. If you haven’t seen evidence of this yet, you will, so keep to the program and keep up the good work.

If you are negotiating benefits in a new position, know these types of funds are where you can make your biggest progress – a great health insurance policy, vacation days, profit sharing, the key to the executive gym, or entry to the top floor executive dining room, and so forth.

This is a big month, for it holds two out of the four eclipses that will come by in 2017. The first one, a full moon lunar eclipse, will arrive on February 10 at 22 degrees Leo. Lunar eclipses have the strength of three full moons in one, so you may notice a project you are working on will reach a grand finish, but this is not any normal project – this one will hold special import. Whatever you find yourself doing near February 10 will require your full attention, and your time and effort on all that you are doing this month will later prove to be worthwhile. Eclipses point us to the direction we will take in the future.

This full moon lunar eclipse is remarkably sweet. Jupiter will be beautifully angled to the Sun and moon from your financial eighth house, suggesting a generous bundle of money will flow to you as a result of the project you worked on. In other words, this could be a good week for news about your income. The moon will be involved too, again emphasizing your creativity will be reaching all kinds of peaks. Get used to it! This is just the beginning. This would be enough to make this eclipse one of my favorite moments of the year for you, but there will be even MORE good news!

A rare golden triangle, the finest aspect of harmony and good fortune in astrology, will appear in the sky at the time of this lunar eclipse. The moon in Leo will be on one point of the triangle in your house of day-to-day work projects, and will be linked to Uranus in your house of salary at the second point of the triangle, and finally to Saturn in your house of prestigious career reputation, completing the ideal mathematical triangle. Said another way, your day-to-day work project will be linked to money and will be awarded to you as result of all the hard work you’ve been doing in the past two years, thanks to Saturn. Saturn is, after all, based in your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement, suggesting to me that all Saturn’s tough tutoring you have been subject to since December 23, 2014, is starting to pay off. You won’t see your biggest reward until Saturn exits this house in December 19, 2017, but it’s coming, and little by little you will get increasing evidence that you are on the right path. Watch what happens at the February 10 eclipse – it will give you clues of your career direction.

This same eclipse might bring a health protocol to a finish. Or, you may decide you will want to do something special to improve your health and get started in earnest. Keep your health strong mid-month because you will be very busy.

I love the days surrounding the lunar eclipse. To me, they look like little happy people jumping up and down, cheering on the lunar eclipse in all her magnificence. On February 9, you have Uranus in ideal angle to the Sun, giving you an opportunity to discuss ways for you to earn generous money. An opportunity to do so will likely come up suddenly, or in a surprising way. This is also a terrific day to brainstorm for creative ideas too.

    Valentine’s Day falls on February 14, and the transiting moon will be in marriage-minded Libra. Lots of couples will become engaged this year, and planets are being delightfully cooperative, set to bring on a stellar day.

On February 10, you have the eclipse in Leo that I talked about above. Then, on February 11, a Saturday, Jupiter, a planet deeply tied to financial developments for everyone, will speak to the Sun on your behalf, indicating again that an assignment will come up to help you make money. When you see one aspect after another saying the same thing, it means this is real – pay attention to it.

There is another interpretation for February 11 that I should mention. I don’t think it will apply to you, but for a tiny number of Pisces, it might. The sixth house is also associated with health, and should you need a procedure or surgery, and you have health insurance (covered by the eighth house of other people’s money being brought into play here), your insurance company will likely understand your condition, and will pay generously to get you the treatment you need.

On February 13, the Sun and Saturn will work in sync for you, and this will help you garner VIP favor, and you will start to feel it over the weekend as well. As you see, all these dates are clustered on the head of a pin, making this a fantastic time. This is why I said if you have been concerned about money, it may be just a situation of things being darkest before dawn. As I said, you are very close to seeing money pour in.

Two other days, February 21 and 23, will be very special, so I would like you to note them on your calendar. Both involve Mercury, a planet that rules your seventh house of partnership, and also your home and family sector.

Both areas will shine as a result of Mercury’s conversations first with Jupiter, February 21. Talks will be about money, again, and this time, you will need to keep your meetings under wraps. Your rising career will be under discussion, and it appears an agent, lawyer, or manger will help you thread the needle so to speak – to get you where you want to be. If you are the agent, then you will have an excellent talent to represent, and discussions will go well. The same day will help you with any family question or real estate question you might have.

On February 23, you have another day when your career is clearly on fire, and talks will lead to a feeling of comforting stability. Mercury will work with Saturn, which is, as said earlier, in your career sector. ­­­­­­­­­­­Again, you have a stellar day for both your public and private, home life.

Now we come to the major event of the month, the solar eclipse in Pisces on February 26, in Pisces 8 degrees. A solar eclipse always is a new moon, and will open wide a gate that had been previously locked shut. This eclipse has but one aspect, a conjunction to Pisces’ ruler, Neptune, the planet that is considered the patron planet of the arts. Pisces is a wildly creative sign, and now you will be given a fine opportunity to show precisely what you can do. Sometimes we have to wait years to find the right setting – it is coming now, dear Pisces.

If your birthday falls on February 26, you will experience a massive change in career, work life, and possibly in your home life, too. Eclipses when falling on one’s birthday often change the domestic condition. Also, you may change your appearance to reflect the changes in the way others see you, and how you, in response, see yourself. This is a very exciting time. Solar eclipses are almost always happy events.

It is true that Neptune can bring confusion or obscure facts under certain circumstances. If you are not in a creative field, nor work with creative people in the course of your day-to-day work, then you must be careful that you have all the facts. Neptune may be obscuring something. If you feel something is missing, or you are not completely clear on what is being asked to or asked to agree to, ask questions. There is no harm in doing that – in fact, if the people you are dealing with are people of character, they will only respect you more for aiming for clarity. If you like, you can write a follow-up bullet-point memo with all that you understand to be the deal and show it to the other party for confirmation.

If you were born February 26, plus or minus five days, you will feel the effects of this eclipse (the closer you are born to February 26, the more you will notice the developments). The same is true if you have Pisces rising or the natal moon in Pisces, or a natal planet in Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn at 8 degrees, plus or minus five degrees in all cases.

On the same day, independent of the eclipse, Mars and Uranus will conjoin in Aries in your house of earned income. This is absolutely a big aspect, but with Uranus, the planet of unexpected developments, we never know precisely how things will go, positive or not so positive. It’s interesting that these two planets will meet at 22 degrees Aries, the same degree as the earlier lunar eclipse, which will be in Leo 22 degrees. That earlier eclipse will fall in your assignment sector, so this aspect of Mars and Uranus could be related to that project, in terms of a surprise amount of money paid to you. Yet with Uranus, the topic or the outcome is never what you would have ever been looking at as possible, but always something out of left field.

Mars can add arguments when combined with Uranus like on this day (this is certainly a hot aspect), so to be careful, don’t bring up money to anyone in your public or private life on February 26. The other party might become agitated quickly, and talks could become heated, unexpectedly. Wait to talk about money a few days later. On the other hand, you may love what comes up, and be surprised by how generous the money is that is being offered. You and I don’t know yet which way things will go, and because we never have to prepare for good events, but do need to prevent being broadsided by adverse events, lay low on this day.

Valentine’s Day falls on February 14, and the transiting moon will be in marriage-minded Libra. Lots of couples will become engaged this year, and the planets are being so cooperative, for Valentine’s Day falls very close to those lovely days I talked about earlier, February 9 to 13. Acknowledging that all these aspects have a plus or minus one day of influence (except the lunar eclipse, which has a much longer tolerance of plus or minus five or more days), on Valentine’s Day, you should have a lovely night out. If for any reason, your sweetheart has to travel or work late on Valentine’s Day, I actually love the weekend of February 11-12 when the transiting moon will be in Virgo, perfect for a celebration of your love.

As you begin February, you will be in a meditative mood. Your birthday will quickly approach, and ancient wisdom was that it is time to plan your birthday year ahead. As a Pisces, you love to be with people, but you also have an equal need to be alone, to rinse yourself of cares – yours and those of others who depend on your sympatric heart, for you are always a willing listener. Do a bit of creative daydreaming, and imagine your life as if it is a film that you direct. What does your protagonist – you – do, and how do you succeed in creating your dream year?

The first week of February will be an ideal time to schedule necessary annual health exams, and if a psychological matter has troubled you, to see a therapist to find insight and comfort. The idea is to enter your birthday year with a clean slate, or, if that is not possible, with a plan to work toward building a strong mind, body, and spirit.

You are experiencing a long trend of heightened creativity, for your ruler, Neptune, the planet of imagination, will tour Pisces until 2026, a place it took up in 2011. The project that comes in this month will be prestigious and pay remarkably well, for this eclipse will form a golden triangle among the stars, linking professional success, and generous financial compensation and a new assignment. This has to be good news, for with Mars tearing through your second house of finances, your expenses have been high. Give this project all you have to give, for it will form part of your impending upsurge in your career. You have been working with Saturn, the great teacher, in your tenth house of fame and honors for two years, and have a little less than a year to go.
