This is one of those months where the planets are delivering crosscurrents. The beginning and end of the month will be your favorites, with the middle requiring attention to your career and to your home or family.

As you enter June, you may be thinking about your apartment or house, and maybe asking yourself if you should move. Or you may consider renting a weekend cottage for a few weeks to allow you time in sunshine and to enjoy the season to the fullest.

Alternatively, you might be thinking about putting up a wall, or taking one down, renovating your kitchen, or redoing your basement. If that kind of action is too big a project, you might invite the painters into give a room a fresh coat of paint. Or, you might simply send out the rugs and window treatments for cleaning, or work on a project to declutter and reorganize your closets. There are many things you could do, and with the Sun touring your home sector from now through June 20, you will enjoy the changes you make. The first days of June will be your best for home-related initiatives. You also will have strong family support, including from your parents and other relatives. If you share your space with a roommate or your family, everyone in the household will find the changes to be a morale booster.

A sterling, four-star day will arrive on June 3, when Jupiter sends the Sun a golden beam. These two bodies will be in a trine position (from the word triangle), which is the astrological term for being 120 degrees apart, the most harmonious and luckiest aspect possible. You will be outstandingly favored financially, especially if your actions involve property. You might sell a house or buy one, and either way be pleased with the price. If you sell furniture, you are likely to get quite a bargain. If you start a renovation project with the right contractor, improvements you make to your home contracted or finished on June 3 will appreciate its value. This would be an ideal time to apply for a mortgage, for you are likely to get attractive terms. You will feel the glow of this day one day before, on Friday, June 2.

The full moon could be exhausting and possibly causing a feeling of strain. You might pronounce the news you get as troubling. It will fall on June 9, in Sagittarius at 19 degrees, in your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. All full moons have a plus or minus four days of influence, but most full moons do not deliver news until on the day of the full moon (in this case June 9), or within four days after it occurs.

Something is finishing up – you seem to have a big day in your career on June 9, 10, 11, or 12. On the plus side, you may have been interviewing for a job and be given the offer. If you do take on a job then, it will be one that comes with high status, and great responsibility and influence.

Conversely, you might find the news depressing, and in that case, you won’t expect the news you hear. As you see, career news can go either way in the extreme. Saturn requires that you accept reality, so if anything goes wrong, you may have dig to understand the underlying cause for the news, for maybe it will be more acceptable to you when that is revealed.

 This full moon would be enough for one month, but only a few days later, we have the opposition of Saturn to the Sun on June 14-15, causing you to feel tension between the demands of work and the needs of those at home (or concerning your parents). A family member might need you to come, and you may feel conflicted because your work will need you too.

An older VIP at work may be critical of you, causing you to lose confidence. Don’t let that happen. Take the kernel of truth to heart, but nothing else, for no one can define you. This day seems to center on one project, not the sum total of your work. Your home and family will also be a topic of concern at the same time. At home, you may be thinking about a male figure of authority in your family who might not be in his best health, and if that should come up, you will want to help. Or, if you are in the middle of a fix-it project at home, you may get news that workers have found a problem that has to be fixed before they can continue.

    Travel will be fun at month’s end. If you are choosing where to go, with June’s strong emphasis on water-sign Cancer, choose a place near water, with a white powdery sand, frothy surf, and big striped umbrellas.

Do your best to address whatever comes up, but realize that not all things are within your control. For example, if your company is merging or failing and laying off people, there is not much you can do other than look for a better job. You have a wonderful year-long professional outlook (no matter what happens now), so you may later feel in losing your job they did you a favor. It is never a happy experience to work for a company in trouble. Better growth opportunities will always exist in a company that is growing.

This is a month with a strong sweet side too, so let that cheer you. Mars, the energy planet, will enter your romantic sector (fifth house) on June 4 and remain there for weeks, until next month, July 20. This is great news, because you will have fun during that time, and if single, might find a new romantic interest to date. If you are attached, you will have more one-on-one romantic time with the one you love. Being out and about will help you to take your mind off anything happening at home or in your career.

Your love life will get big boost at the new moon, June 23, to be in Cancer 3 degrees. This new moon is the one you waited for all year, for it will increase your chances to find your one true love. It would be a superb time to go on a vacation, for you will have Mars (energy and action), Mercury (news and travel), the Sun (where you shine), and the new moon (opportunity), all in your fifth house of fun and love. This new moon will be sweet for you, because Uranus, the planet of surprise, will be close enough to the new moon in what astrologers call an out-of-sign trine (a heavenly aspect). This adds a delicious element of surprise to the mix.

Neptune, your ruler, now in Pisces, will reach out to Mars in Cancer, based in your fifth house of true love, so the time near June 27 should be heavenly. If you had planned to go away on a vacation on June 24-25 and perhaps stay more days, you will be so glad you did!

If you are a Pisces with a birthday that falls within five days of February 25, you will feel the warming glow of this extraordinary new moon. The same is true if you have Pisces rising, or the natal moon in Pisces at 3 degrees (plus or minus five degrees), or a natal planet in Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn at 3 degrees (plus or minus five degrees). I am splitting hairs this month – this new moon will be great for all Pisces.

 Meanwhile, Venus, the love planet, will be in Taurus in your third house of short distance travel from June 6 to July 4. This is another signal that getting to a new setting will make you happy AND may help you find love. Taurus is an earth sign that blends beautifully with your water-sign element. Also, Venus is strong in Taurus because Venus rules Taurus – she is in her home sign.

If you are hoping to conceive a baby but have been disappointed with results, June should give you reason for hope. By all means, see a fertility expert if you have not. Try this month, and if your doctor says you can try in vitro (if needed) after June 23, plus two weeks, do it then. Remember, however, you have Mars, planet of action and energy, behind you in this endeavor almost all month, from June 4 onward for six weeks, until July 20. This would be your best time of the year to try.

No discussion of a month’s outlook for a Pisces would be complete without a discussion about creativity. You are considered the most creative of all signs, for your imagination stems from a very active subconscious mind, ruled by the twelfth house, the solar house naturally associated with Pisces as its home. This month, think big and broad, and write down your ideas, and don’t limit them. If you have a friend, business partner, or co-worker who will help you brainstorm, that would be a great idea to do now.

Your home – how it looks, how you live and where – appears to be top of mind as you enter June. For that, you have last month’s friendly new moon of May 25 to thank, for that new moon’s energy will continue to bring you opportunity, ideas, and best of all, motivation to make home-related changes. Also, Jupiter has been in weak retrograde orbit since February 6, but will turn direct this month on June 9. That change should bring an immediate change in your financial outlook. You will see clues in the days surrounding that date.

One day when your financial luck will defy your expectations will be June 3 (and you can add the day leading to it, June 2), when good fortune Jupiter will align with the Sun, putting a big gold star on this day. Additionally, the transiting moon will conjoin Jupiter – it would be hard to find a more spectacular day when it comes to money.

 The full moon in Sagittarius will be conjunct Saturn, so a serious career decision or a major culmination to a professional matter will occur within days of June 9. You may be given a rare opportunity to take on a new role that comes with great responsibility and power. At the same time, planets in your home sector suggest you may be torn between your rising professional status and your obligations to others at home.

Then, almost one week later, on June 15, the Sun will oppose Saturn, a rather deflating aspect.
