Over the past eight months you have been under unusual favor for making a sharp rise in your career. From this month on, you will be able to attract greater, more effective help from influential people.

One of your very best days of the month, possibly of the entire season, will arrive on Saturday, June 3, linking the work you are doing on a complex project to your tenth house of honors. This is a day for celebration, and you will also feel its glow on the preceding day, June 2. Use June 2 or 3 to arrange a career interview, give testimony, launch a product or service, send a query letter or your manuscript to an editor, give a speech, make a presentation, or sign an important contract. If you are a trial lawyer, you would likely have a banner day in open court. There are so many possibilities, so you can decide how you will use one of these two days for career advancement.

A few days later, however, a troublesome full moon will surface in Sagittarius, 19 degrees, in your twelfth house. That full moon will come conjunct Saturn, a planet that contains, limits, and deflates, and will oppose the Sun in your workaday sector. This is an opposition of fire (the Sun) and ice (Saturn). You may feel this full moon in a variety of ways.

You may hear that a person close to you – your spouse, steady lover, business partner, agent, publicist, friend, or family member – is ill and needs to see a doctor. This professional will be in a hospital or other facility of confinement such as a rehab center. Full moons bring conditions that have been going on under the surface for a while, but you probably did not know that this person had a medical situation that needed attention.

 No matter what you are doing, the events of the full moon will demand you focus instantly on the topic that comes up. You are not an emotional creature, but this full moon could make you feel temporarily depressed and deflated.

A second way this full moon may work out is that your mother or another family member will tell you a long-held family secret that has been pressing on her and that she feels is serious enough to tell you about. It will get your full attention. Or, you may have a woman near who is suffering under the weight of the condition she is facing and needs your cheerful presence.

A third way this full moon of June 9 could affect you is if you have a political situation that has been going on in your company or from another source. You can be sure the situation involving you has been advancing behind closed doors. Now all is bound to surface. If you have any enemies or people working at cross purposes to you, you will know it now. Or, it may be that a person close to you, such as your co-worker, may betray you, or you may discover your spouse has not been truthful to you. I feel badly even suggesting this. The sounds alarming, so I don’t want you to become anxious. This is only one of several possibilities, as I described above. If you have no one behind the scenes who is trying to take credit for your good work, or expose a secret or confidential matter that they have on you, the full moon won’t affect you this way.

The hard part about this situation is that only less than a week later, June 14-15, Saturn will also oppose the Sun, bringing the situation to a more advanced level. Again, people who work for you or who work in your industry will be drawn into the conversation. The Sun is the natural ruler of your eighth house of other people’s money – covering credit, taxes, student loans, insurance payouts, mortgage, and other such areas – and you will likely be told you will have to pay a large sum. You may or may not have known this expense is coming up, but you won’t have any options to delay payment or not pay it at all.

It is alternatively possible that you will lose a source of income. Saturn at 180 degrees from the Sun is not an easy aspect. Everyone of every zodiac sign will notice this aspect on June 14-15, but you will feel it more, as you are ruled by Saturn.

Keep your head down and out of the line of fire, and don’t look for problems. Don’t have a big “talk” with your spouse. Don’t schedule meetings for your work anywhere near the full moon June 9 (plus or minus four days) or June 14-15 (plus or minus two days). Do not sign a contract or make a verbal agreement, for in astrology a verbal agreement is the same as a written one. The profit potential will be very low with Saturn will be so active.

You are now approximately six months away from your birthday so the Sun is now as far away as it can be from the end of December / January, which is the time of your birth. In that respect, June and July are your “winter” and you may feel the chill or the lack of warmth from the Sun, due to it being so far from you. You are not in control this month, but the good news is that after the third week in July – next month – the Sun will loop around and head back toward your Sun sign. For now, your best course of action is to collaborate and be conciliatory, and if necessary, listen to expert advice.

 There is another indication that others, not you, are running the show, but this is only a temporary situation. It has to do with active, assertive, warrior Mars, which is due to enter Cancer, your opposite sign, found six months from yours, on June 4, to stay until next month, July 20. Mars will be in your seventh house of partnership and marriage, so you will be focused on the person you are with in marriage or in a serious, established business alliance. This month and next, you will have much more than usual interaction with your partner(s), and sometimes that means disagreements and conflicts will come up. That is normal, and shows both of you are thinking and engaged with the topic at hand.

Furthermore, this trend will be further emphasized again, this time at the new moon of June 23, which will also enter you opposite sign of Cancer. With the new moon will be the Sun, Mercury, and Mars. You certainly will be focused on a partner, and as you read this, you probably already know why. With that crowd of heavenly bodies directly facing you from across the skies, you might be trying to create a partnership with a business partner, say, by engaging an agent, representative, lawyer, accountant, publicist, or other professional. Or, a different way the new moon may work is that you may be forced to deal with people who are opposing you. You may say, why such opposite possibilities? An opposition – and you have a number of them this month – you can either bring you a sense of completion, like when two halves of an apple are brought together to form a whole apple. Or, with a packed seventh house, which the ancient astrologers called the house of open enemies, you may feel attacked by a person or company, or under unusual pressure from competitors who are trying to take a piece of your market share.

When it comes to the new moon, June 23, you will have help from Uranus, planet of surprise, for Uranus will be in a position to bring an out-of-sign trine (from the word triangle, considered the most heavenly aspect possible) to the planets opposing your Sun. Simply said, your family is likely to be very helpful and may come to your aid with ideas, or even money. Also, the fourth house of home where transiting Uranus is based in your solar chart rules your home and real estate, and somehow your holdings may become an asset now in regard to any concerns you have about money.

I am most concerned about Mars at 180 degrees from your Capricorn Sun. You happen to be hosting transiting Pluto in Capricorn, which in itself is neutral and possibly helpful, for you are in the process of a major life transition, transforming yourself like a caterpillar that becomes a butterfly. However, there is a problem looming. Transiting Mars is slowly moving through deep space into a direct opposition to transiting Pluto, now in your first house of personality on July 2. You will feel the mounting energy of Mars’ coming opposition to Pluto at the very end of June. Tensions will mount. You will remain strong, for Pluto in Capricorn will give you that strength, and at the same time, your competitor or detractor will be strong too.
