Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

This has been an unusual year, with both difficult news and fantastic news coming at you at rapid speed. It’s enough to make you feel like you’re watching a ping-pong game, with you turning from right to left, never knowing what might be coming next. One minute, news was terrible; the next minute, it was sensational and far better than any you had expected, and so it went back and forth. It was hard to keep things straight because life was moving so quickly.

We had three eclipses this summer, July 12, July 27, and August 11, and eclipses change timetables, often bringing sudden news and moving up events that we expected would happen years into the future, but instead happen right now. News usually comes within four days, plus or minus five days before or after an eclipse.

Keep in mind that some deliver their big news one month to the day earlier or one month to the day later, plus or minus five days. (In the case of the July 27 eclipse, watch the very first days of September; in the case of August 11 eclipse, watch September 11, and in all cases a plus or minus five days. This different timing is true only if the eclipse did not deliver its news on or very near the day it appeared.)

You will like September far better than July and August. Mercury and Mars were retrograde last month, but both are moving forward now, as of August 18 and August 27, respectively. It was nearly impossible to make plans and make deals stick over the past weeks, but now you can move ahead confidently.

Before I get to the exciting news, I need to tell you about one more retrograde: Venus will go retrograde October 5 to November 16. The very same day Venus goes direct, Mercury will go retrograde, from November 16 to December 6.

Of all the planets in our solar system, we feel the effects of Mercury, Mars, and Venus most when out of phase, because those planets orbit closest to Earth. Once we get to December 6, you will be free and clear. Mars and Venus will not retrograde again for a long time, and not at all in 2019. Knowing we are going into another period where some things will be on hold, do your best to get plans set in September.

Venus rules Pisces’ solar eighth house of other people’s money, so you may find that checks due you are late and that clients need to be gently reminded to send their payments to you. Venus also rules your contractual third house, which is another reason for you to move talks along as quickly as possible in September. I am not thrilled about your signing paperwork in October or November.

Jupiter will also reach out to Neptune, making this a very bright month for promoting your creative efforts. You have Pluto, Jupiter, and the Sun all working on your behalf mid-month, so go for the gold, and don’t let anyone stop you

Venus rules good looks, so don’t do any untried dermatological procedure. Also, no plastic surgery or Botox, and no changing you hair color or doing anything radical to your face. Venus rules your face, and you should not change your appearance when Venus is weak. Venus rules warmth and affection, but with Venus weak, it would not be the best time to circulate socially to meet a new romantic interest.

There will be plenty of time to socialize from December 6 to 30, when Mars will amp up your sexiness, and Venus will be in Scorpio, moving swiftly ahead and making your charm and charisma much more visible.

The Sun has now moved to Virgo, six months away from your birthday. This means your seventh house is lit, and that puts an enormous emphasis on partnerships and collaborations. You may find you are working closely with a business partner, agent, manager, publicist, or social media manager, or you may be involved in a joint venture with another company. These twosome efforts will produce magic. You will do far better by working with a partner or expert than you ever will alone.

In your personal life, you may be getting engaged or married this month, which could be a very exciting development. If you are already married, you can work on a dream that you create together.

The new moon September 9, in Virgo 17 degrees, is heavenly, perfect for a wedding or any kind of serious partnership or collaboration for business. Jupiter and Pluto will support that new moon, and their support is both extraordinary and very rare. Don’t assume that a new moon this spectacular is commonplace. It’s not!

When Jupiter and Pluto signal the new moon, Jupiter will encourage feelings of love and also encourage conception and the birth of a baby, if that is a dream for you. Pluto will have your friends playing a bigger role in your life this month and will also bring you opportunities from foreign people and places.

You may get a major TV, radio, Internet, or publishing deal, or you could be working with clients abroad but without the need to leave home, using Skype, FaceTime, WeChat, email, and telephone calls to work though the assignment. You may instead be excited about starting college or graduate school now and will be signing up for all your new classes. Your ninth house is certainly ablaze with good-fortune Jupiter in Scorpio, creating these life-altering possibilities.

At this new moon, you also have something extraordinary. Your ruler, Neptune, will be in tight mathematical trine to Jupiter, an aspect of breathtaking harmony. This aspect fosters love and magical creativity, so it looks as though you will get an opportunity to showcase your talents in September. Jupiter used to be designated your ruler, and later, when Neptune was discovered, Neptune became your ruler. To this day, astrologers look at both planets, and when they are in exceptional sync, as they are now (and it takes years to get to this point), you do exceedingly well. Neptune and Jupiter are at 15-16 degrees, favoring those Pisces born March 6-8 in an outstanding way, or those with 15 or 16 degrees of Pisces rising.

The very best day of the month will be September 11, when Jupiter and Pluto send signals to each other, a rare event in the sky, and one laden with financial opportunity. The conversations that Pluto and Jupiter have been having, through what is called a sextile, which means two planets are 60 degrees apart, translate into a golden opportunity there for the taking. A friend seems involved and will introduce you to the right person, opening the door for what happens on or within a week of this new moon. The compensation being offered you will be exceptional.

Use September 11 to schedule an important interview or presentation or to negotiate a big money deal. This day deserves five stars. If you have a meeting that is vital to your future and that you hope will grow profits in a big way, schedule it for this day, September 11. On the same day, the Sun will send golden rays to both Jupiter and Pluto. This will help your health, bring interesting assignments, and also bring more news from the media, possibly regarding an international business relationship.

Earlier this year, I had to choose a perfect wedding date for my Pisces daughter, Chrissie, and I chose Saturday, March 3, the full moon in her marriage sector. I also offered her the Saturday after September 9, the new moon in her marriage seventh house. She chose to marry in March, although both dates were excellent.

An interesting statistic is that most brides marry within six weeks of their birthday, and so by marrying on March 3, this was true for Chrissie, born February 26. At the time near your birthday, the Sun is conjunct the Sun, a lovely coming together of two people. Chrissie’s wedding to Leo turned out to be beautiful and tender, special in every way.

Yes, my daughter’s husband’s name is Leo and he really is a Leo, born at the end of July. We all love having Leo in our growing family. Chrissie and Leo were to have their first child, baby Otis, on Chrissie’s birthday, February 26. It just worked out that way, and it added more pixie dust to their beautiful family.

Chrissie is a Pisces with three heavenly bodies in Aquarius – one is her natal moon in Aquarius. She was born just after the Sun went down, giving her natal moon special prominence. That is the reason she gets along so perfectly with Leo, a sign six months away from her natal moon, Venus, and Mercury. She also has air-sign Libra rising, and an air sign makes a fire sign like Leo’s burn more brightly.

Now let’s see what Mars is doing in your horoscope in September. Mars has been in Aquarius since May 15, and finally went direct on August 27, so things will move forward again. Mars backed into Capricorn to enliven your ties with friends, so the first ten days of September will be your best to arrange dinners with friends or to go to museums, parties, and other events.

Your most important time in the coming weeks will be when Mars tours Pisces, November 15 to December 31. That will be just in time to celebrate the year-end holidays in style. You will be at your vibrant best at that time. Because Mercury will be retrograde from November 16 to December 6, you may run into friends you’ve not seen in ages. Your very best period to put plans in place will be December 6 to December 30.

There will be one day, September 18, when you need to avoid doing anything important. It is a hot button day when Mars, the warrior, will be at sharp odds with Uranus, the planet of unexpected events. Do not sign a contract; don’t have a major meeting. These two planets have been in a dispute for weeks, but this will be the last time they give each other a piece of their mind.

Mars in hard, 90-degree angle to Uranus is the same aspect that has come by May 16, August 1, and now, September 18, and is responsible for the volcanoes, violent fires, and earthquakes we have seen in the news. In your interaction with people, you will find some people to be ultrasensitive and quick to become angry. If you agree in writing or verbally to any new deal on this day, you will be building into that enterprise or relationship all the wrong vibrations. Keep your head down on this day, and keep to yourself. Keep a space of days around September 18, too.

Since mid-May, you seem to have been working behind the scenes on one or more projects that you will unveil full force in December, the perfect time to do so. At that time, Venus, Mars, and Mercury will be strong, and there will be nothing to hold you back.

The full moon on September 24, in Aries two degrees, will highlight money. You may have to write a large check to pay a bill, or you may have an expense you had not anticipated. Saturn will be in very hard position to both the Sun in Libra and full moon in Aries, causing you to feel tight cash flow.

If you find you are not paying bills within days of September 24 but instead are negotiating a project, you may feel the compensation being offered is too low, when you weigh how much work you will be expected to do. If you are invited to a social event or are giving a party, keep an eye on how much you are spending at this full moon, for you may not be aware of how costs are mounting. With Saturn in your friendship / social sector, it is likely that the credit card bill you see at this time will be higher than you imagined it to be.

One day when you may get great news about money will be September 27, when the Sun and Mars combine energies and work to bring you a lump sum that makes you smile.

Romantically, Venus’ tour of Scorpio, starting September 9, will be a blessing for you, for Venus will make your travels so much fun. If you are attached, try to travel with your sweetheart or spouse. This month, you seem to be able to smoothly combine business with pleasure and get lots done, while you also will find time to enjoy your time away.

SUMMARY

Last month, you experienced a magical full moon on August 26 in your own sign, Pisces – the only one of 2018 – and you may have had a romantic episode, had fun with children, or you may have finished up an important creative project.

No matter what you did on the days leading up to August 26, you are likely entering September with an energetic, happy spirit. Uranus, the planet of surprise, is now in your third house of quick, fun travel, and is receiving signals from Saturn, the great stabilizer, making you feel more secure and loved by friends, and the Sun is now in your partnership house, putting emphasis on those you are aligning with to achieve goals.

As September opens, a golden triangle of supreme harmony will form in the heavens, the finest aspect you would ever wish to see. A partner in love or business, friends, travel, close kin (like siblings, cousins), and even neighbors bring happy interactions and an element of surprise and fun.

After the new moon of September 9, you will be thinking about your relationships. You might be ready to make a commitment to a person you love or to make a business partnership or collaboration official. Two planets will be outstandingly supportive – good-fortune Jupiter and powerhouse Pluto. There is no doubt that in September you will find that others will play a dominant role in your life and that you will do best by collaborating.

Jupiter will continue to be in your ninth house until early November, bringing you luck with the media, through being involved in publishing or broadcasting projects, and may also bring you enviable publicity. You may also find outstanding benefits exist from foreign people and places, legal moves, and university study – one of these areas is likely to be where the golden nuggets lie.

An extraordinarily lucky day for turning an idea into a blockbuster will be when Jupiter works closely with Pluto, September 11. All the topics listed as lucky for you will be accented September 11.

The full moon of September 24 will be a tricky one. Saturn will be in hard angle to both the Sun and moon and bring a financial matter to a final stage. You will have to be very realistic and unemotional, as you respond to a financial matter that will come up. You may feel overwhelmed or run down a bit at this full moon, so take a little extra time to get the rest you need. If you are tired, you will be less equipped to deal with financial matters come September 24.

Money matters will finalize at this time, September 24, and as part of the discussion you may be thinking about a love relationship, a child, pregnancy, or a friendship. You may temporarily feel pressured and overwhelmed. Thankfully, a full moon will bring things to a head quickly, and once matters reach a peak and you’ve make a decision, you will be able to move on.

Finances have often come up to shock, surprise, or depress you, but you are moving into a far better financial phase, for you have learned by now how to deal with these occasional unexpected financial moments in life. That has been the aim of the planet that is pressing on you at this full moon – Saturn. Saturn wants you to learn to anticipate events and have a plan ready to cope with them.

Mars is still touring your twelfth house, giving you more than usual interaction with medical personnel. If you feel that you are spending much too much time at the doctor, blame Mars. Alternatively, it may be that one of your friends needs medical care, and you are spending quite a bit of time seeing him or her and talking about their procedure and generally bringing your cheer.

This emphasis on speaking with medical people, either for yourself or for a friend or relative, has gone on since May 15, and will finalize when Mars moves out of Aquarius on November 15. In the meantime, you might want to use this trend to address a medical or dental matter that you’ve put off but know you should address. Do it now, for after November 15, action Mars will be in Pisces until December 30, and you will be on your skateboard moving at the speed of light.

Although the full moon of September 24 might not be your favorite moment of the month, you do have lucky days coming up before it arrives, times when money is likely to find its way to you.

The first day will be September 11, when money is likely to show up when you least expect, but the caveat is that you work through an intermediary – a partner, agent, publicist, business partner, or other expert – who can find ways to fill the treasure chest of your business.

On the weekend of September 15-16, Mercury will cozy up to Pluto and to Jupiter, indicating that distinguished people working in government, publishing, broadcasting, academia, the legal system, research, and medicine will be lucky for you. It’s a great weekend to sign a contract and send it in by express mail.

One day not to travel or sign papers will be September 18, when Mars will be in hard angle to Uranus. Uranus is in your travel sector, so things are likely to go haywire. Under no circumstances should you sign a contract on this day, when just about everyone will be feeling overly emotional. Avoid problems on the road, such as the driver who seems to be exhibiting road rage. All kinds of crazies will be out and about, and you need to distance yourself from them.

Romantically, Venus will be in the compatible sign of Scorpio, and so will be in a position to rev up your social life in the most delightful way from September 9 to January 7. Venus usually remains in one house of the chart for one month, not four, but the reason is that Venus will go retrograde from October 5 to November 16. During this time, payments from those who owe you money may come slowly, so it would be best to bill your accounts receivable now, in early September, when you are more likely to get paid quickly. The happy part of Venus and Mercury retrograde will be your ability to connect with friends from your past, and catching up will be positively delicious.
