Tomorrow, I fly to San Diego to give my Year Ahead 2019 weekend seminar at the La Costa Resort & Spa in nearby Carlsbad, CA. I am doing a cool Yoga + Astrology 3-day weekend from November 2-4 with Alanna Zabel of AZIAM Yoga. Neptune will be trine the Sun, denoting extreme harmony and spirituality, making this the perfect weekend to recharge. This will be a calming weekend where we will set our intentions for the New Year 2019.

This is sure to be a happy, proud month for you, for your future has never looked brighter. I have so much to tell you that it is hard to know were to start. Stay with me all the way through the finish of your November report, for although some of the biggest headline news will happen early in the month, we also have the luckiest day of the year and other good news coming at month’s end.

The month starts out with a magical vibration on November 5 between the Sun, in Scorpio, and your ruler, Neptune, in Pisces, energizing your house of travel. Any trip you take early in November would be inspirational and quite lyrical. Your creativity will be working at peak levels too, especially in the first week. You will enjoy thinking about a current creative project and coming up with ideas to add to it. Although this aspect will be mathematically perfect by November 5, you will feel this lovely aspect over the preceding weekend of November 2-4, as it grows to a peak point. Neptune moves quite slowly, which is why this aspect stays in place for several days. If you are involved in a publishing or broadcasting project in early November, you will see the elements fit perfectly into place.

Now let’s look at the November 7 new moon in Scorpio, 15 degrees, which will bring all the matters of your solar ninth house front and center. You might be interested in attending lectures and the cultural arts, you may start to read or write poetry or stay up all night discussing with your sweetheart the meaning of life and other philosophical matters. Go to an old fashioned coffee house with old world charm, like the ones found in Greenwich Village in New York City or the cafes of Vienna, Paris, or Rome. Find one that has large, old fashioned mahogany furniture, marble topped tables, and a tin ceiling, and order a cannoli or other pastry and an espresso, as you and your sweetheart carry on your debate. This would be a lovely weekend to think about the coming New Year and to set your intentions.

As delicious as setting the scene for having long talks with your sweetheart is, an even bigger moment also arrives at the new moon. This will be a marvelously supportive new moon for you, for it falls in fellow water-sign Scorpio, and Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be in his last degrees of Scorpio to aid you in all the areas ruled by the ninth house. Those include long distance travel and international relationships, publishing and broadcasting projects, academic pursuits, legal matters and the court system, as well as philosophical thought and reflection. This is a very refreshing new moon, so try to use it to your advantage by thinking about all these areas it covers and deciding which ones might apply to you.

Take action, for the force will be with you. Keep in mind that a new moon will offer you ten days in which to act before its energy gradually fades, as it gets further away from the new moon and instead begins to become the full moon. The actions you take in those first ten days following the new moon will be potent, giving you the ability to change your life for the better for the entire year ahead, or even forever. We get one new moon in each one of the 12 houses (one a month) each year, so this is your chance to initiate a plan, knowing you are moving into a very powerful time for your career and personal aims.

I love that Neptune will be making the closest, tightest, positive aspect to that new moon November 7. Neptune is your ruler and is traveling in Pisces. Neptune will see to it that you’ll get to voice your desires freely and be secure with the knowledge that some of your ideas will be warmly accepted.

Pluto will also support that new moon on November 7 from his perch in your eleventh house, suggesting an influential friend may go out of his or her way to make an introduction for you, offer to be a reference for you, or bring an opportunity to you. Pluto rules the sign of the new moon, Scorpio, so the fact that he will be supportive of that new moon is significant, for this suggests your actions will lead to a final resolve of success.

You may hear news from someone regarding one of these areas ruled by the new moon, or instead, you may decide to take the bull by the horns and take a more proactive approach, assertively going after what you want—either way, things are looking up for you. In astrology, the way things work best is to cast a wide net and go after your dream situation when you have rare, glowing aspects as you do now.

    On November 8, Jupiter, planet of good fortune, will move into Sagittarius and remain there until December 2, 2019, a period of 13 months, and light your solar tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. This is earth-shattering news, for it is the first time Jupiter has lit this part of your chart since November 2006 through December 2007.

If your birthday falls on March 6 or 7, this new moon will be speaking directly to you. You are likely to hear superb news. The same is true if you have Pisces, Scorpio, or Cancer rising at 16 degrees, plus or minus five days, or the natal moon or a natal planet in one of those three signs and degree, plus or minus five degrees.

Let’s go back to the beginning of the month. Venus has been retrograde since October 5, and this may have held up an important payment to you, but that situation will likely resolve after November 16, the date Venus will go direct. Not only does Venus rule your eighth house of money owed to you (and is a house that also rules money you owe others), but Venus has been transiting this house as well. This only underscores how frustrating it might have been for you to have to wait for that illusive check owed to you and that you may have had to wait to pay others, which is also tension producing.

Venus also rules your solar third house, and you may have found that contracts were slow to be drawn up, or that writing or broadcasting projects were taking more time to complete than you had hoped. Thank goodness this phase is almost over.

I should mention that Venus rules products and services that are for women, so if you have a new product or service geared for women, it would not be wise to unveil them to the market when Venus is retrograde in the first half of November. Also, in your own personal life, hold back on ordering radical changes to your looks, such as, having Botox, a face-lift, dental cosmetic surgery or plastic surgery, cutting your hair in a radically different way, or making a radical shift in color. It’s fine to do touch ups and general grooming, but do not ask your stylist for a look that would be dramatically different. Men, if you have a beard and want to shave it off, wait.

Mercury, Venus’ mischievous copycat brother, will go retrograde this month, too. Mercury typically retrogrades every 12 weeks, but as luck would have it, he will start his nap on the same day that Venus will go direct—November 16—and stay retrograde in your solar tenth career sector until December 6. This will bring delays, problems with shipments, and other confusion in regard to your projects.

If you have a product or service that is vital to launch, especially if your work is related to high tech, software or app development, publishing, broadcasting, web services, artificial or augmented reality, or other work in the digital realm, or in travel, shipping, or courier services, you will need to hold back and launch after December 6. Mercury rules all communication and electronics, and those are the very areas that can go haywire.

Now let’s turn to the biggest news of all! On November 8, Jupiter, planet of good fortune, will move into Sagittarius and remain there until December 2, 2019, a period of 13 months, and light your solar tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. This is earth-shattering news, for it is the first time Jupiter has lit this part of your chart since November 2006 through December 2007.

As you can imagine, this influence will feel fresh and new. While in Sagittarius, Jupiter will herald the onset of your finest career year in over a decade. You will be the sign most likely to make huge professional strides forward in the months to come, during most of 2019. Get ready to see your name in lights, dear Pisces.

Jupiter enjoys being in Sagittarius, for it is the sign that Jupiter rules. Jupiter will be strong in this sign and work hard to expand your career reputation for your work over the course of the past ten years. It will be as if the universe were handing you a beautiful box tied with glittering ribbon as reward for all the contributions you’ve made over the last decade. The harder you worked over those years, the greater accolades and rewards will be yours in the coming months

You may get a major promotion or receive a generous offer for a top job from a competitive company. If you are self-employed, you may be given enviable publicity, or you may bring in a prestigious new client. It is also possible you will win an industry award. In social media, your followers will increase noticeably. This coming year may well work out to be your biggest career year you ever experienced.

Sagittarius is an international sign, so your work seems to have worldwide application. If you write books, for example, your work may be translated into different languages, or you may do import-export of goods or services and see business prosper. If you work with companies abroad, you may be invited to go there, and it may be a country you’ve not visited in a long time (or ever)—and all expenses will be paid. This year will bring a broadening influence and put you in touch with many other cultures.

In this rare period, starting now, all conditions are right for you to be in the spotlight and make a name for yourself. Also, watch for the new moon next month in Sagittarius on December 7 and the days that follow, for that month could well become a landmark month for your professional progress.

Over the past six months, since May, Mars was stuck in Aquarius for the lion’s share of the time. Now, on November 15, Mars will move to Pisces, and having Mars in your sign will be a huge advantage. Mars will ask you to courageously press your ideas and plans forward, and you might even take a judicious risk, for Mars will bestow you with determination, energy, and drive. While Mars was in Aquarius, you seemed to have been working hard behind the scenes on a secret project that will soon be ready to show later this month or, more likely, in December.

At some point during the past five months, you may have had a health concern that you had to address, or you may have been concerned about someone close who was in the hospital with a serious condition and was going through a slow recovery. Mars in Aquarius lit your solar twelfth house of confinement, which rules such institutions as hospitals, rehab centers, physical therapy, nursing homes, and so forth. This was another reason you were not quite ready to tear out of the gate with your banner fluttering in the wind—you had other things on your mind. By next month you will be ready, and you will be in a fine state of mind.

July and August was rife with retrograde planets, including Mars and Mercury, and you had to deal with three eclipses that were causing havoc, too. To say those months were intense is putting it mildly. By September you took a deep breath, hoping that you could finally have a better environment in which to launch new plans, but no, Venus went retrograde on October 5 but will go direct this month on November 16. Venus rules your eighth house of other people’s money, so you may have seen checks held up that were due you. Now the gates are open, and you will be paid.

There is more good news! Neptune, your ruler, has been retrograde since June 18 of this year and will go direct this month on November 24. Whenever your ruler is retrograde, it is hard to make swift progress, for it is a time to work quietly, slowly, and carefully behind the scenes. This is still another sign that you are about to come out into the spotlight after Neptune turns direct. This is just another indication that the gates are swinging wide open for you, Pisces.

Now just to be sure you notice Jupiter’s might and good fortune, this month holds the luckiest day of the year. Actually, this year, the luckiest day bridges two days, from Sunday, November 25, to Monday, November 26. This marks the annual meeting of the mighty Sun and benefic Jupiter, so you are likely to get outstanding news about your evolving career progress.

Something may happen that proves to you just how much support you have in your industry (or the world at large). These luckiest of days would be ideal for having a major meeting, presentation, interview, speech, audition, sale of your work, product launch, or other career-oriented initiative. If you have an important publicity campaign this month, you will be reading about yourself in the press.

If your book is being published near November 26, all I can say is wow, since Jupiter is associated with publishing and broadcasting, as well as legal matters. If you need to travel to a distant point, you will find your meetings go well, and you’ll be excited to recount to team members about how easily you were able to reach accord with higher-ups.

The Sun is the natural ruler of your sixth house of work-a-day assignments, so with Jupiter conjunct the Sun on November 26, you may get news of a new client or assignment, and it likely will pay exceptionally well. Jupiter is considered a financial planet, so when he comes knocking, generous profits or fees usually accompany the opportunities he brings. Additionally, your sixth house also rules health, so if you need to consult a doctor or dentist, do so this month, for you are likely to get good advice and encouraging news.

Here is something I was surprised to learn. Every year the Sun and Jupiter meet for one day, but always in a different sign and date. Because Jupiter was in Sagittarius in late 2006 though late 2007, I expected to find the date the Jupiter met with the Sun in one of those two years. However, the Sun and Jupiter never met in Sagittarius. In 2006, Jupiter and the Sun met in Scorpio, and in 2007, these two luminaries met in Capricorn! They skipped Sagittarius completely. That meant I had to go back further, and I did find the date—December 18, 1995.

Was December 1995 a memorable time for you? I can’t believe you’ve had to wait 23 years to see the luckiest day of the year light your career sector, but it is true! You may know Astrology Zone was born as a Sagittarius on December 14, 1995. That certainly was a big week for me—it changed my life completely. These luckiest days of the year are very powerful, so plant a seed, dear Pisces. They all have a little bit of aura around them with a plus or minus four days.

You will have another stellar day, Tuesday, November 27, when Mercury and Jupiter will conjoin. The problem is that Mercury will be retrograde this month, stealing some of the thunder of this day. I don’t want you to sign papers on this day or buy any electronics. You can have meetings, but refrain from sealing any promise with your signature, if you can help it. Happily, Mercury and Jupiter will meet again next month on December 21, and by then, Mercury will be strong and healthy. That’s when to sign legal documents. It’s also a highly romantic day—you can propose on this day, so put a big star on it.

You may be tempted to shop on Black Friday, November 23, or Cyber Monday, November 26, but I feel better sales will cluster near December 21. I can’t guarantee that better sales will happen on or near December 21, but it sure looks that way. (Mercury rules the activity of buying and selling.) Keep in mind no gift is a bargain if your friend or family member doesn’t like it. The idea is to thrill the person you are surprising with a gift.

Now let’s turn to your private life. The full moon in Gemini on November 22 will light your house of home and family. This day falls on Thanksgiving Day in America, a big holiday here, where most people have four days off, so it does look like you’ll all be together. You may be inviting family over to your house, going to theirs, or having the whole clan this year to a restaurant that will offer lots of choices to eat. You may also be thinking about changes you’d like to make to your living space, and if you have already been working on your home, the contractors may be finishing up your project.

If you are not American, you won’t be celebrating Thanksgiving because this is our holiday (you may have yours on a different day). Nevertheless, the emphasis will be on your home. You may be seeing the contractor finish up a big project within four days of this date. No matter where you live, and no matter if you celebrate Thanksgiving or not, all Pisces will see an emphasis on family and home-related matters. Full moons bring closure, so something is coming to a conclusion. Perhaps you were looking for a way to help your mother or father in a substantial way, and by this point in the month, I feel you will find the answer.

Some people don’t get along well with their parents or siblings, so if that describes you, and you know you will be with your family at or near this full moon, you might want to make it a point to be diplomatic. Mars will be in conflict with the Sun and full moon, and a member of your family (not sure who) may be critical of you at this time.

I have a theory about this—you will be having incredible success in your career, and if you are excited and talk about what is going on for you a lot at the dinner table, some family members may feel deficient in comparison. Be caring to others in your family over this full moon, and you’ll be fine. I love that Jupiter will be very close to the Sun and to Mercury, and Mercury is the ruler of this full moon in Gemini. This tells me you will have a wonderful full moon and the outcome will be positive.

Finally, romantically, with Mars in Pisces from November 16 to December 31, your magnetism will be very high. On top of that, Venus, Mars’ lover, will be in a highly compatible water sign, Scorpio, from December 2 to January 7. Dear Pisces, you have such a brilliant romantic vibration, and you are entering such an exciting month. Your entire chart is positively glowing!

Travel to a distant city or to a country or island, where you will need a passport for entry, is very likely this month, and it will most likely happen in the days that follow the new moon, November 7. This trip will be fun, and if you are traveling to an event, such as a wedding, you are likely to enjoy the event to the fullest. You may also make the acquaintance of an influential person who may later become a close friend, someone who may even mentor you in career matters.

Neptune, your ruling planet, will send silvery beams to the Sun and new moon, providing inspiration and creativity to the work you do early in the month. The ninth house, where all the activity will be focused, will have a broadening effect on your thinking to help you expand your horizons.

Also, as part of this new moon, you will find that international relationships and overseas projects will shine, as will media projects and anything having to do with your pursuit for an academic degree at a university. Legal matters will also favor you. The new moon will be strong in the days following November 7, for one week, so find an area among those listed that are applicable to you and act on your goal—the sooner the better. You may see results immediately, or within six months, but with a solid new moon like this one, the force will be with you.

For months, you’ve been dealing with behind-the-scenes private matters, and perhaps you’ve been looking back to clean up situations that have languished and needed your attention. Those situations took time away from the new projects you wanted to work on, and while you juggled both areas of life, all this took a lot out of you. Alternatively, you may have been working behind the scenes on a secret project that you could not show anyone just yet, but that project is now nearing conclusion. Additionally, you won’t be looking back so much to fix relationships or projects (brought on by the many retrograde planets). On November 15, Mars will enter Pisces for the first time in two years, and you will be thrilled with how the pace of life picks up. The timing of this is perfect. You will have no problem getting your foot in the door of any VIP you hope to see. Mars will give you optimism and motivation, and with your passion and drive evident, others will want to follow you wherever you go.

It will be exciting to see that you will easily light others to support your cause.
