As a Taurus, you can’t fully relax until you know you have a little nest egg that you are contributing to at the bank. It’s part of your DNA that you carry with you, for Taurus is a financial sign associated with wealth. Life doesn’t always give us the opportunity to add to our savings, but now it will. This comes thanks to an extraordinary merging of energies involving Jupiter, planet of good fortune, and the new moon, December 6.

The new moon of December 6 will set everything in motion. Remarkably, Jupiter will be orbiting conjunct the new moon and Sun in your eighth house of other people’s money. You may receive a large check or valuable gift, or you may receive a generous payout from a claim you made to an insurance company. Your boss may give you a bonus or large commission. Alternatively, you may win a scholarship or be told you will get more university financial aid than you ever anticipated. If you are finalizing a divorce, you may be amazed at the size of the settlement. You may win a prize from a contest you entered or be given a valuable gift or inheritance.

The transiting Sun in Sagittarius will receive golden vibrations from Jupiter, so home-related news will make you smile. You may be approved for a mortgage or home- improvement loan with attractive terms. If you close on a house shortly after the new moon of December 6, you will have made a wise decision. Although you may have paid a bit more than you had wanted, the appreciating value of the property will climb, and in time you will see you made a good bargain.

Jupiter will also shine on the new moon of December 6, suggesting it is a fine month to buy or lease a car, for your third house, ruling travel and transportation, will sparkle.

There is a caveat, for the new moon will have difficulties with Neptune and Mars, and because Neptune can cloud information, you will need to read the fine print of any document you sign and enlist the advice of a lawyer. (This is no time to save money on legal assistance.)

Venus opposes Uranus on November 30, and that is too close to the start of December to sign papers—wait until you get beyond December 6, the new moon in your financial house. During the first days of December, guard against loss, as you may lose something valuable in a taxi or other public conveyance. Leave as much at home as possible, such as your favorite sunglasses. Bring only what you need whenever you go out, and pare down what you carry—this is an aspect of loss. (Last month we had the same aspect, and I lost my wallet. Ugh.)

December 6 is the new moon and the date Mercury finally turns direct. If you feel like you have climbed tall mountains and come across a burning desert on foot, I completely understand. We have had Mars, Venus, and Mercury retrograde since late June, arriving one after the other and making progress incredibly slow. All that waiting is over now! Mars and Venus will not retrograde at all in 2019.

Your career is glowing, and on December 20, you could see an unexpected, exciting professional breakthrough, thanks to Uranus in fine angle to the Sun. Uranus is the planet that works like an engine to your tenth house of fame and honors, and it will be working hard to delight you before the holiday.

One of your sweetest days will be Friday, December 21, when Venus will send kisses to Neptune, setting off one of the most glamorous evenings possible for love and fun.

Now let’s turn to your social life, which should flourish beautifully in December. Mars is now in Pisces, brilliantly filling your eleventh house of friends, fun, new acquaintances, and events. You will enjoy the warmth of friends all month and be invited to at least one special holiday party. One of your sweetest days will be Friday, December 21, when Venus will send kisses to Neptune, setting off one of the most glamorous evenings possible for love and fun.

On the same day, December 21, you may have something else exciting to celebrate—good news about a check or valuable gift that you are given. December 21 is sure to be a favorite day for you. You may be asked to look over a contract—this will be a perfect day for you to sign,

If you plan to travel close to the holiday, December 21 will be your day, thanks to Jupiter, the happiness planet, conjunct Mercury, the travel planet. On this day, you have so much working for you!

The full moon this month will fall on Saturday, December 22, in Cancer at 1 degree. This full moon will powerfully light your third house of short distance travel, so it seems you will be on the road to see family, particularly your sister, brother, or cousin. You may not know you are about to pack and go, for Uranus, cooking up delicious fun, will be adding a spontaneous, exciting beam to the new moon and Sun, sending zillions of surprises for travel or incoming texts, emails, phone calls, and more.

If your birthday falls on April 21, plus four days, you will feel the benefits of this full moon the most.

As you get closer to New Year’s Eve, it’s clear you want to travel to a country that will require your passport for entry, but I am not sure if you will be going on December 31 or not until after the eclipse of January 5. I am going to bet it will be after New Year’s Eve in early January.

Saturn will be conjunct the Sun and new moon on January 5, making travel difficult, most likely due to weather delays. Saturn, in your travel house, is known to set up obstacles. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go, but it does mean you need to keep your AC cord for your computer with you in case of delays at the airport.

By early next month, five heavenly bodies will be gathering in Capricorn, and each one will be outstandingly friendly to your Taurus Sun. I can’t imagine how you’ll stay home! You should love December, as it will be a major improvement over June through November—finally, you’ve turned an important corner, and you will see life speed up and become productive in many ways, in just the way you like life to be.

SUMMARY

Financial news is fabulous, and that always makes you happy, dear Taurus. In the occasional times you don’t feel financially secure, it is hard for you to concentrate on anything else, because for Taurus, you feel having a good supply of money in the bank is an overriding concern. You will love the change that Jupiter will bring you—much better income in the months ahead—and the money will come to you in various ways and in large chunks from time to time. Your influx of money could come as a commission, royalty, licensing fee, bonus, inheritance, bank loan, mortgage, infusion of venture capital, division of property in a divorce, a court settlement, sale of property, or through other means.

The point is, you will have the money you need for an expensive dream. If you look for a source of cash, especially this month with the financial new moon due to appear on December 6, it looks almost certain you will find it. You might be looking for money to go to college or graduate school, to get married, have a baby, open a business—you get the idea. A new moon will always give you ten days of time to plant seeds, make an application, or even win money on a TV game show. If you look for money, you should be able to find it.

Mars and Neptune are traveling together, to conjoin on December 6, and are in hard angle to this new moon. If you are investing in an enterprise, look carefully at all the fine print and enlist the aid of your trustworthy financial advisor. Neptune’s dreamy fog may make deals look attractive, but with money matters involved, Neptune can produce a confusing situation at best, or a duplicitous one at worst.

Be careful, but also be happy that you will feel greater financial security in the coming weeks and months. Venus, your ruler, will be under siege with Uranus, planet of unexpected news, in the first days of December, another reason to think twice before committing cash to any venture. There is no such thing as being able to get rich quick.

All month, Mars will jazz up your social life in a big way, just in time to enjoy festive holiday parties. December is supposed to be fun and lighthearted, and for you it often is, but this month looks like December will be the happiest in recent memory.

Mercury and Jupiter will be beautifully oriented in conjunction on December 21 bringing messages of peace and joy, and you will likely receive beautiful gifts, too. Shopping on this day will seem to bring rare bargains. Travel will be best on this day, far better than any other time of the month. It appears you will be traveling a short distance, possibly to visit your sibling or cousin.

The full moon in Cancer will arrive on December 22 and gather your family together for a celebration. This full moon suggests you will get gift shopping done early, with time to wrap presents with creative flair.

Be careful not to overwork at this full moon and in the week between Christmas and New Years. You may take on too much and feel overwhelmed, because Saturn will be drawing close to a conjunction of the Sun, and both will oppose the full moon (to reach total conjunction on January 2). Think of who can help you with last minute preparations for festivities, and you will be glad to have that extra pair of hands. It need not be a relative—look to a young student who would be happy to earn a bit of cash.

You seem to be on the road to see family, and you can, but realize that in the last week of December, travel will become more difficult and possibly made hazardous due to heavy snow and ice (in the northern hemisphere). Saturn is likely to bring obstacles, including bitterly cold weather. Make sure to bring your car into a mechanic for a thorough check up to be sure you can handle any type of weather condition.

New Year’s Eve, December 31, will bring the moon to Scorpio, your opposite sign, so let your partner choose how best to ring in the New Year. It looks as though you will favor a quiet, private romantic evening together. Venus has now regulated her orbit, after having been retrograde in October and part of November, and settled into your house of marriage and serious partner, so all month, your relationship with your one-and-only should be quite divine. Celebrate your love on this exciting night with either just the two of you or with a few close friends that you invite over for a simple, intimate party.
