Do you believe in miracles? I do, and I found out that I am not the only one. Albert Einstein once said. “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein said he chose the latter. My own life has been one of high contrasts, with very deep lows (especially in regard to my life threating birth defect and the many surgeries it took to get me well as a teenager), but I also have had the highest highs to celebrate. The contrast has made me grateful for every day I live—that was never a guarantee. I had to learn to walk again, and it took years.

June will be very busy, thanks to a new moon in Gemini, 13 degrees in your sector of work assignments. You will be spinning several dishes on sticks, deftly showing impressive concentration and dedication to doing the job exactly right. It will be flattering for you to be so prized on this particular job. Gemini is the sign of twins, so you may get not one but two new assignments fairly equal in size.

If you have been looking for a new full- or part-time job, this new moon will help you, and it would be work on the same level you have been doing. If you were hoping to step up to a job with more responsibility and power, that would more likely take place after the new moon later this year, September 28.

Still, there are reasons you might prefer to take a job similar to what you’ve done. For example, if you moved to a new location, are in the process of a big lifestyle change, such as caring for a new baby or for an elderly parent, or need to switch positions because you simply don’t like your present job. In cases like these, you may feel that having a new job at the same level would be perfect. Start looking immediately for a job you can get excited about after the new moon arrives June 3, for something is very likely to come up.

Self-employed Capricorns will hear the cash register ring with orders and new customers beating their way to your door. The June 3 new moon would be an ideal time to launch a new advertising or social media campaign.

The work you do will likely lean on your talent to write, speak, edit, or code. Gemini (the sign of the new moon) is a communications sign, so look into jobs that relate to public relations, marketing, sales, advertising, research, fact checking, library work, translation, social media, television, radio, podcasting, cell phone apps, journalism, screenplay writing, editing, computer coding, or software development, or in travel, shipping, couriers, and messengers—all are ruled by Gemini. Your new job is likely to be associated with work in one of these areas, no matter what field you happen to work in.

If you feel you could use a brush-up seminar on grammar or a thoughtful course on creative writing, sign up for a class. Capricorn is the most ambitious sign, always on a mission to turn in the very best work they can. If you’d like to take a class, do so in early September when your chart glows for continuing education or university work at any level. Education will help you on whatever job you take or already have. I know a young man who took a class in improvisation, and he is a window display expert for Cole Haan. He felt the improvisation class opened his mind in a way no other class had ever done for him and made him more creative. It is true that sometimes taking a class in a very different field can be helpful and fun.

    Try to get all your most pressing matters wrapped up in early to mid-June because Mercury, the planet of communication, will soon retrograde, from July 7 to July 31. You will always feel the onset of Mercury retrograde two weeks prior to the official date of the retrograde.

The one difficult part early in the month is that Neptune will be at odds with the new moon. Neptune is taking a long journey through your contractual third house. This will make you magically creative if you are working on a screenplay or novel, for example, but Neptune here makes navigating contractual deals more difficult. Neptune obscures facts and will be influencing you for a long time. A new moon will affect you for ten days—those are the power days—and the actions you take during those days will have the power to influence you for an entire year or more.

This all means you must show all contracts to a lawyer before signing. Do not try to save money by going it alone. With Neptune in the third house, you would be spending more if you sign papers without your lawyer’s advice, for later a clause could become troublesome and not be in your best interest. I have found that the value of a good lawyer is that when you put your heads together, you can better examine what the contract does not address—that is, what was left out—for that is usually the biggest difficulty to deal with later. Covering unforeseen questions can be difficult after the fact, so try to imagine ahead of time what you would want to if a certain scenario came up. Brainstorm with your lawyer—I have always found that to be fun.

This month’s full moon of June 17 falls in Sagittarius, your twelfth house, and Jupiter, the planet of good fortune and planet of healing, will be orbiting close in conjunction. The moon is the natural ruler of your seventh house of marriage and commitment, so you might get engaged or wed within four days, plus or minus, of this full moon June 17. I love that Jupiter is so close—it shows such happiness for you. You might be keeping your engagement a secret, for the twelfth house is the house of secrets. Or, you might be cooking up something with a partner (in love or business) that you will reveal weeks or months later.

This same full moon of June 17 might have other benefits. If you have been going through treatments for a medical condition or are in rehab to overcome a dependence on painkillers, you will come to a moment where you might feel you can now be free. If you have been seeing a psychiatrist for help with a psychological difficulty, you may see a breakthrough now, within four days of June 17.

Also, if you need a new computer, cell phone, headphones, or TV, as some examples, buy those items now. If you purchase electronics while Mercury is napping in retrograde, you will not enjoy the product in the way you expect for a whole variety of reason.

Also, next month we have two eclipses coming, one in Cancer, a solar new moon eclipse, July 2, and a full moon lunar eclipse in Capricorn on July 16. You are likely to feel those eclipses directly, especially if your birthday falls within five days of January 2 or January 16. The way you view yourself, in terms of your talents, dreams, and life priorities and potentials may be due for a shift after these eclipses have spoken. Think back to January 5 when we last had a new moon solar eclipse in Capricorn. Something that came up then, perhaps out of the blue, will advance to a new level of discussion. I will give you details about both eclipses next month.

Now let’s turn to a vital topic for you, the collaboration of Neptune and Saturn, which is a feature of 2019, for it is as rare as diamonds. Your ruling planet is Saturn, so this particular aspect has special significance to you. By coincidence, Saturn is now in Capricorn, making this doubly important for you. Saturn takes 29 years to circle the Sun, while Neptune takes 168 years to make the same journey. You can see that it would be rare for these two planets to be in perfect harmony and supporting each other—and you. These two planets are making a sextile, which means they are 60 degrees apart, and that is an aspect of opportunity. With a sextile, you have to take action to make things happen, for a sextile is not like a trine, when luck magically lands in your lap.

Neptune is, as said earlier, in your third house of communication and rules the arts. This is fantastic for any kind of imaginative writing, as the third house rules communication, most often written or spoken words. The word photography literally means writing with light, so I will include film and photography as excellent endeavors to work on in a serious manner with this aspect in play. Neptune will light up your visual right brain, and Saturn will see to it that you create a foundation for your work that can sustain you for years to come.

Neptune teaches us to dream and to express ourselves artistically. Saturn, your ruler, teaches that what we work the hardest on are the successes that make us ultimately proudest. Saturn also teaches you to be practical and to find ways to have a steady stream of income so that you can continue to work on your artistic projects. The arts and artists in general will benefit from this lovely aspect. Many people don’t think of Capricorns as highly creative, but they are, with many becoming talented illustrators, painters, poets, filmmakers, and photographers.

You also have a growing emphasis on your closest relationship now and in July, and with Mars in your commitment house until July 1, you may be getting ready to get engaged or wed, or you may be planning for something else important with your mate. If you are already wed, you may plan something big, such as to have a baby soon or to save up to buy a house. If you are not wed and aren’t dating anyone seriously, Mars may focus you on a business relationship, such as a business partner, publicist, agent, manager, writing partner, editor, stylist, lawyer, accountant, or other collaborator who will be part of your life as you move forward.

You might encounter a disagreement with a partner on June 14, when Mars in Cancer will oppose Saturn in Capricorn. You may want to move ahead on a plan, but your partner is acting stogy and immobile, meditating too much on a proposed action you want to take quickly. It can be a frustrating day, so keep to yourself on June 14. Your partner may have good reasons to want to move cautiously—find out the nature of those reasons.

Another hard day could turn out to be June 19, when Mars in Cancer will oppose Pluto in Capricorn. This date, June 19, brings a hot aspect, where your partner will want you to follow his or her dictate and will be quite bossy. This is not a day to bring up any touchy subject—keep to yourself, and if something comes up, see if you can revisit the question a few days later.

A very different day—filled with wonder, surprise, and joy—will be June 27, linking the Sun in Cancer, by then in your marriage and commitment house, to Uranus in Taurus, your fifth house of true love. This day could bring on a proposal or a great surprise from your one-and-only. If you are not dating, you may make a big sale of an artistic or creative project, which could bring you a generous sum of money, or you may receive a gift or donation of cash. These possibilities could both happen—they are not mutually exclusive. What a wonderful way to end the month!

Work projects are mounting, but you will be happy to have your services in high demand whether you work for others or yourself. You seem to be looking over paperwork to sign, but with Neptune moving through your contractual house, it will be important to make no assumptions and to look closely at the fine print. Enlist an attorney to explain any clauses that might put you in jeopardy and listen to suggestions your lawyer might have to add any missing language to protect you from potential problems that your client may not have included.

You will get opportunities to generate more business if you are self-employed, or be given two plum projects you’ll enjoy, for they will allow you to showcase your talents in the communication arts. You may be asked to write, speak, teach, edit, or produce material. The pace will be quick, thanks to a new moon in Gemini, June 3, setting off a busy trend in the coming weeks.

By the full moon, June 17, you will want to slow down. You will want privacy, rest, and time to recover from the frenetic pace of the first half of June. Designate time over the weekend to sleep in or unplug from the world temporarily. If you have children, that’s probably not possible, but see if you can hire a babysitter for several hours while she or he takes your children to the park. Jupiter will orbit near that full moon, suggesting a trip toa luxury resort for one or two nights would do wonders for your mind, body, and spirit.

Romantically, you will do best while Venus spends her final hours in Taurus, a holdover from last month that will extend to June 8. Mars will travel through your partnership sector all month, a place that Mars took up on May 15, and that will last until July 1.

Mars will oppose your Sun, which could mean you notice that your partner is completing you in a magical way, each of you giving what the other lacks. On the other hand, Mars in your opposite sign could reveal areas where you both don’t agree, and you may find it exhausting trying to tangle with your partner on several points large and small. Part of the job of Mars is to bring to the surface any difficulties you’ve not addressed in order to cleanse and improve the relationship. How things work out will be up to you—astrology does not bring predestined results. A lot depends on how things have been going between you all along—Mars will enlarge the mood of your current relationship.

Next month you will have two eclipses, July 2 and July 16, that will strongly clarify where the two of you are headed, whether the relationship on your mind is romantic or business-oriented. If you don’t see any news coming on the horizon, that’s typical of eclipses—their job is to show you what you have not noticed or chose not to see.

Eclipses make us sit up and look at what is going on by giving us a floodlight of truth, and we cannot turn away. If your relationship is strong, you will recognize the truth of just how deeply committed your partner is to you. If your partner in love or business is not supportive of you, then you will be better off free. Wait until after the eclipses and see what happens. The degrees of the eclipse have to be close to the degrees of your birthday Sun to notice big news, so that would refer to those Capricorns born January 2 or January 13, plus or minus five days.

As the month winds down, you will come to a lovely day, Thursday, June 27, when all kinds of happy surprises will come up—in love, which could point to marriage, or in business, where your creativity will be prized—and money will flow to you when you least expect that to happen.
