A Note from Susan Miller

march 2019

Dear Reader,

You might already know that I love posting on Twitter (@AstrologyZone), and I am also on Facebook (Susan Miller’s Astrology Zone). What is new is that in December, I added Instagram to my regular social media posts (@Astrologyzone). I have been having fun reading your comments and seeing how the planets are influencing your life.  I had joined Instagram in 2012, but in intervening years I had not been posting there, but now I am enjoying going on Instagram almost every day.

Your Horoscope by Susan Miller

No sign has had as many changes involving their residence or other property than you, dear Capricorn. Over the past years, while Uranus made its journey through your fourth house of home, many Capricorns had to move more than once. For many, there were several moves, and I can imagine how hard it must have been to be uprooted so often.

You finally waved goodbye to Uranus last month, and you won’t miss that trend. Uranus was in your fourth house of home from May 10, 2010, to March 6, 2019.

You will never experience this influence again in your lifetime because Uranus will take 84 years to revolve around the Sun and return to Aries. You do have an opportunity to make voluntary changes in your living situation this month—most likely your décor—thanks to the new moon in adventuresome Aries, 15 degrees, on April 5. A new moon will set up ten potent days in which to start instituting your plans.

There is a problem, however. Saturn, your ruler and now in Capricorn, will be at odds with that new moon and her companion, the Sun. This suggests you may be of two minds about what is needed to be done, or you may hesitate because you have an older relative you are caring for, such as a parent or other relative, and you don’t want to spend any more money on your home for the time being. Saturn is the planet that makes us become more cautious, usually with good reason, so for now you may have to be content to keep a file of your ideas and what you feel needs to be done in your home. It may be a new residence or a country house, and now that you are there, you want to make it more reflective of you and your style. Pluto, also in Capricorn and also in hard angle to that moon, may be urging you to redo your basement, see about your home’s plumbing, or examine its foundation, but I am not sure if you can take the time to do so now.

You have another consideration, too. Jobs at work are rolling in, and with business so brisk this month, spilling over into the first half of next month, you will need to keep your eye on the details of the assignments. It seems you will have at least two big projects if not more.

With all this commotion at the office this month, you will need to take breaks, and Venus, Neptune, and Mercury are all in your short-distance travel sector, coaxing you to leave on weekends. You won’t be able to go far, such as overseas, not until the second half of August or early September, so for now, find little trips to take over weekends to clear your mind and keep you feeling fresh and recharged. Your best weekends to go will be within the time that Venus spends in Pisces, a divine place for Venus to be and highly compatible with your Sun sign—go over the weekend of April 6-7 or over April 13-14. Both weekends will be sensational, and married, attached, or single, every Capricorn will have fun.

The tensest part of the month will be a full moon in Libra, 29 degrees, on Friday, April 19, influential for a plus or minus four days. This full moon will cause big shifts in your career, possibly with management or other personnel. The full moon will fall in your prestigious tenth house, the sector of professional honors, awards, and achievements found at the very top of your chart. However, Uranus, the planet of unpredictable events that seem to come out of the blue, will directly oppose the full moon and at the same time conjunct the Sun in an out-of-sign conjunction in your home sector. Uranus will be at two degrees Taurus, and the Sun will be at 29 degrees Aries. (A planet can only go to 29 degrees 59 minutes before it automatically goes into the next sign.)

This is a month you’ll need to stay alert. You won’t be bored, and you just might have a few adventures that have some breathless moments, which finally go strongly in your favor. Wow, this sounds like a movie, with you as the star!

You may be ready to change jobs, perhaps because you are given an offer, but at the same time you will be mindful of those who are depending on you at home. You seem a bit conflicted. You have clearly achieved a lot in your career by this juncture, and you may feel you can’t possibly achieve more in the setting you are in now. That is a possibility and may be why you are weighing a move.

This full moon will bring money into the conversation too, for the Sun, being jolted by Uranus, rules your joint financial sector, that is, money you share with others, such as your spouse, ex-spouse, an inheritance, and also that you would owe the government, a credit card company, your student loan lender, mortgage lender, and institutions like that.

It may also be that you have business partners, and you and they have different visions of the future. The moon always brings partners into the mix (such as your business partner, agent, or in love, such as your spouse) because in Capricorn’s natal chart, the moon rules the solar seventh house. It is possible, I suppose, that your spouse or established partner is urging you to take another position. I am not sure which possibility would prevail.

I have listed possibilities to start you thinking, and I am not sure which will resonate with you, if any, as there are always other ways the situation could materialize.

I do know that with Uranus involved, you can never quite anticipate what will come up. The job of Uranus is to keep us all on our toes by throwing sudden thunder bolts of change. Uranus is also known to sweep out all that is outworn or no longer of relevance to your life. Everyone will feel this, so we all have no choice but to be resourceful, adaptable, and flexible under this full moon—and that’s the point.

Whatever comes up on or very close to the full moon on April 19 will be jarring and not something you see coming. If you are self-employed, you may have an unpredictable client who may suddenly leave, but in that case, you may be better off without him.

This full moon will have you looking at all you have accomplished over the recent years, and ask yourself, what should come next?

Now before you start to freak out, there is such good news! At this full moon, you will have incredibly lucky help from Jupiter, in ideal angle to the Sun in your home sector and to the moon in your career and reputation sector. It seems a powerful person behind the scenes is impressed with you and will go out of his or her way to help you solve whatever sudden problem you will be faced with.

Jupiter at 24 degrees will be in the most harmonious place possible to beam both the full moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries at 29 degrees. Not only will you keep your dignity and good name, you will be able to see, by the goodness of Jupiter, what your next move up the mountain of success should be. Have faith—you can see this if you stay calm. To say that all this is a high contrast full moon moment is an understatement—extreme tension, extreme luck, all coming at the same time. The end result is that you will land on your feet, sunny side up.

You will need down time to relax, and one outstanding time for seeing progress in your home or to enjoy being with children and family will be the weekend of April 13-14, when Jupiter, the generous planet of happiness and good fortune, will be in ideal angle to the Sun. You may also hear about a small windfall of cash over this weekend or hear of a terrific bargain when you buy your new stove or refrigerator, for example. The entire weekend of Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, will be magical for everyone in different ways. I feel on April 13 and possibly April 14 too, your heart will center on the joys of being with family, including your children, aunts, uncles, and parents.

On Monday, April 22, a conjunction of the Sun and Uranus will occur in your truelove sector, bringing all kinds of happy surprises straight out of the blue. If your birthday falls on December 24, you will get a double dip of pleasure. You will feel this aspect the day prior too, April 21, as this aspect builds in strength. If you are single, no matter when your birthday falls, do your best to socialize on and near April 22.

Saturn, your ruling planet, will go retrograde on April 29 until September 18. When Saturn goes retrograde it is not at all like when Mercury, Mars, or Venus retrogrades. (Mars and Venus won’t retrograde in 2019 but will in 2020.) We feel the lackadaisical orbits of Mercury, Venus, and Mars more noticeably when retrograde because these planets orbit closer to Earth. You will feel Saturn a little bit more than other outer planets (Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) because Saturn is your ruler. Try to get deals done mid-month, far ahead of the date Saturn will go out of phase. As mentioned earlier, April 13 and April 14 are magical—pure liquid gold for you—so act then.

SUMMARY

Your self-discipline and drive will be very strong now and in coming months, for Saturn, your ruler, is getting quite close to Pluto, within just three degrees of each other, so this rare aspect will start to influence you from now on. (These two planets will meet in exact conjunction on January 12, 2020.) Saturn will help you build structure to your life, for Saturn teaches that if you take on more responsibility and remain dedicated to your work without distraction, impressive results that you will be proud to own will flow to you.

Pluto is a transformational planet that rules power and influence over masses of people, similar to the power wielded by CEOs working within behemoth international corporations and governments. You are known to care very much about your reputation and professional progress, but now, Saturn and Pluto working together will light up your career ambitions to an all-time high, from now and throughout the rest of the year and well into 2020.

These planets will urge you to make a present day sacrifice to complete a big goal that will take time and effort to complete, such as to have a baby, buy a house, start a business, or to go back to college for a graduate degree, as just four of many possible examples. The reward at the backend is more than worth the temporary sacrifice you would make to that end. You may be mulling over a goal now that would give your life a sturdy foundation and future.

The new moon of April 5 in Aries in your home sector will not be friendly to Saturn and to some degree, Pluto too, indicating some sort of difference of opinion or conflict may arise about a home matter. It might be with one or more family members, most likely in regard to a parent or other authority figure at home. If so, allow for discussion rather than creating a conflict or dictating terms to the entire family.

Alternatively, it may be that you will be called on to help a member, most likely a parent, because no one else in your family will be available and be in a position to help. Saturn will remind you to do the right thing.

Another way this full moon might affect you has to do with repairs or renovations you planned to do on your property. Pluto rules the foundations and basements of buildings, so you may want to remodel and fortify your basement or have plans to change one or more walls of your home to add or subtract a room. It’s also possible you will need to attend to your home’s plumbing, as it may need urgent attention.

There is some indication that you may have to shelve your plans for a while because new business will be coming in, and the pace will be brisk. All hands will be needed on deck at work from the start of April until mid-May, and after that, things will simmer down to a more normal tempo.

You will be under some pressure in April, and when feeling stress, some people are prone to take a hard line to gain control. If you find yourself doing this, remind yourself that it would be best to take a conciliatory, diplomatic tone. If the situation becomes a little too hot to handle, consider breaking off talks and rescheduling them for the weekend of April 13-14, a time when you will have the great healer, Jupiter, in a helpful angle to the Sun. You will find then to be a more soothing atmosphere to have productive talks.

By April 19, the full moon will switch your attention rapidly to your standing in your company and industry at large. Uranus will conjunct the Sun in your home sector and oppose the full moon. The news in your career will come quick as lightning and might have you feeling jolted. A career matter will reach culmination, but if you get an offer for a promotion or new job, you will have to factor in obligations at home. Sudden news will likely emanate from home or a family member at this time too, and with the Sun conjunct Uranus, it seems you will quickly need to write a check as a part of the fix to the situation. Your partner in love or business will be vocal, so you see how complex this full moon period will be.

You will feel pulled in two main directions—career and home/family—but the saving grace, coming like a miracle, will come from a high level, successful person behind the scenes who will come up with options for your career that you don’t expect. That development, in turn, will help the family or residential/property situation. I feel all is well that ends well, despite the initial stress you will feel. Have faith in yourself, for I see you can garner much support in any situation in which you find yourself.

When it comes to romance, you have a glamourous outlook from April 1-19, when Venus tours Pisces, a sign that blends beautifully with yours. You will be able to travel short distances for fresh air and sunshine and enjoy new settings not too far from home. Your best weekend to pack and go will be April 6-7, when the moon will be in fellow earth-sign Taurus, and Mercury, the travel planet, will be in friendly conversation to Saturn, your ruler.

If you can go, do, for you need a little fun in a month jam-packed with news about career and home. By getting away, you will clear your mind and know what steps you need to take next.

I also like April 9, and if you find you will be on the road for a mini vacation at that time, with Venus conjunct Neptune, you could experience an enchanting evening with the one you love. Perhaps you could bring along your mate, or if you are dating, your sweetheart.

Lastly, put a big circle around April 22, when Uranus, planet of surprise, will conjunct the Sun in Taurus. Capricorns born near December 24 will likely feel the vibration. While I can’t say if you will like this day or not, because with Uranus things can go either way in the extreme, I am betting you will like it because the two luminaries are in earth signs, just like your Capricorn Sun.

This is a month you’ll need to stay alert. You won’t be bored, and you just might have a few adventures that have some breathless moments, which finally go strongly in your favor. Wow, this sounds like a movie, with you as the star!
