亞馬遜公司（Amazon）創辦人貝佐斯造價4.3億歐元（新台幣135億元）的超級遊艇，因為體積過於巨大，荷蘭將不得不把一座歷史悠久的橋樑一部分暫時拆除，好讓遊艇通過。
貝佐斯（Jeff Bezos）的這艘超級遊艇有3個桅杆，高度約40公尺，在荷蘭的阿爾布拉瑟丹（Alblasserdam）建造完成後，需要通行位於鹿特丹的康尼謝夫橋（Koningshaven Bridge）橋下，造船廠已要求鹿特丹市議會拆除大橋的中心部分，以便讓遊艇通過。
康尼謝夫橋建於1878年，1940年二戰期間被納粹轟炸後重建，最近一次整修是在2017年。
鹿特丹市政府曾經承諾不會再動這座橋，因此市政府表示將暫時拆除橋樑一部分，這項決定讓部分當地人相當不滿。
鹿特丹市長發言人告訴法新社：「這是通往大海的唯一路徑。」他也說，億萬富翁貝佐斯會支付工程費用。拆解將需要幾週時間，預計將在今年夏天進行。
鹿特丹市長辦公室堅稱，建造這艘超級遊艇為當地帶來經濟效益，並創造就業機會，也承諾會把橋樑恢復原狀。

貝佐斯鮮少提及自己的生父，他只在某次訪談中談論生父，表示自己對生父完全沒有印象：「事實上，對我來說，養育我的爸爸就是我真正的父親。我只有在醫生叫我填表格時，才會想到我的生父。」

貝佐斯的生父喬根森受訪時坦承兒子剛出生時，自己是個很不負責任的老公和爸爸。根據報導，喬根森在傑夫一歲時跟傑夫的生母離婚，但之後常常沒給撫養費，也不曾探望過傑夫。之後傑夫的生母再婚，喬根森更是毫不猶豫地放棄了兒子的監護權。喬根森晚年罹患了肺氣腫，但因為沒錢，所以一直沒住院治療，而且因為沒有積蓄，儘管重病，卻仍得每天工作來支付日常開銷。喬根森告訴記者：「我只是希望他能承認我是他的父親、他是我的兒子。我不想要他的任何東西，我也不想取代他的另一個爸爸；我只是想見他。」由於貝佐斯刻意迴避，兩人始終沒有見面，最終喬根森於2015年因病情惡化而病逝。
