I am just coming off attending the United Astrology Conference in Chicago where I met so many astrologers from all over the world – Turkey, Brazil, China, Japan, Canada, England, Australia, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, and of course the United States.

Something dearly important to you – so close to your heart even I cannot tell you what that is – came to culmination last month on the full moon in Sagittarius, 8 degrees, on May 29, This was the only full moon of the year in Sagittarius, so it might have been a high point for you, or a date very significant in your timeline. That full moon last month was likely to be positive and supportive to you, for happy planets surrounded you.

That full moon had the power to clarify what is truly important to you and may have given you a shot of optimism as events began to play out. If your birthday falls on November 30, plus or minus five days, that full moon was speaking directly to you. Of course, all Sagittarians should have noticed something important happening, for this was to be the only full moon of the year in your sign.

On Friday, June 1, Venus in Cancer will receive golden rays from Jupiter, which is your ruling planet as well as the planet of good fortune and luck in the chart. Uranus is in your sixth house of work projects, so you may hear of a new project, or be about to finish one up, and you are likely to be given a generous sum of money for your hard work if you are self-employed.

Also on June 1, Mercury will receive supportive vibes from active Mars, and because Mercury is the natural guardian of your tenth house of fame and honors, you can now find a way to reach accord with a client and sign papers to make the deal official.

On Saturday, June 2, Venus and Neptune will be in conversation on your behalf. This is a glamorous vibration, and with Neptune in your fourth house of home, this weekend night would be ideal for giving a party at your home. Hang Japanese paper lanterns from the tree branches, pipe in your favorite music, and enjoy the scent of the honeysuckle in the air. What a wonderful evening to give a party in the evening. Look up and see the twinkling stars.

(I realize that my readers in Australia and South America, among other lands down under, are having winter now. In your case, entertain inside your cozy home if the weather isn’t warm enough to have a party outside. You can still have fun.)

Now let’s look at the new moon on June 13 in Gemini, 23 degrees, that will light your partnership house. When you think of a new moon, do not see it as just a day, but a portal to opportunity that has the power to change your life for six months to a year, or even forever, depending on how you use the days that follow the new moon. This one will have you thinking about teaming up with another person who completes you in an important way, either in love or business.

You may decide to get engaged or wed this month, which would be a very exciting prospect. If you are already married, you will likely hear big news from your partner that would affect you both. Or, if you use this energy for a business purpose, you may select an expert collaborator, such as an agent, publicist, writing partner, social media manager, or other professional to help you get ahead in your business, and this will be especially likely if you are self-employed.

Additionally, you must choose your words carefully to transmit the true meaning of your thoughts, or you may risk upsetting the very person whose support you need. Neptune is currently in your house of family, so a misunderstanding might arise with a partner, or alternatively, with a family member.

I should add that whenever Neptune is in a hard angle, as it is mid-month to the new moon, it might manifest in a completely different way, not in terms of communication but in more physical way – in terms of water damage in your home. I know I say this often, but it is true that you need to be covered by insurance for all kinds of water damage. Ask for a special rider to your policy, for it is not typically covered in a basic homeowner or home-renters’ insurance coverage. Neptune will remain in Pisces and your sector of home until 2026. This month, Neptune will be especially active.

At the same time – and this is a complex new moon – you have Neptune in supreme harmony with Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, indicating home is where your heart is found, and that family may be a source of warmth and support. I had mentioned this new moon June 13 is complex and it sure is, because you have a number of gorgeous aspects at the same time. You may be negotiating a contract this month too, because this third house rules all formal contractual agreements. If you do need to negotiate and ultimately sign papers (or do so verbally), do so on one of the most fortunate days of the month, June 19, when Jupiter, the planet of gifts and luck, will send dazzling beams to contractual Mercury.

DO NOT sign a contract or document when Saturn opposes Mercury earlier, on June 15. Instead, wait for your best day for making a serious commitment verbally or by signature on June 19. That is when Mercury will work in a sublime way with Jupiter. If you sign on this day, it seems profits will likely follow.

Next comes the full moon at month’s end, on June 27, in Capricorn at 6 degrees, which will emphasize your personal finances. Saturn will be conjunct this full moon and oppose the Sun. This full moon may be a moment when reality bites, and you won’t have any way to avoid paying the piper. However, just because money might be tight now does not mean money will always be tight – this is a temporary situation. Saturn is trying to teach you to value what you earn, and to coax you to cut down on waste so that you can keep more from what is in your paycheck. You are learning patience too – you may face red tape or delays concerning proper paperwork, particularly with overseas clients.

Ever since Saturn entered your second house of earned income, you have been singing along with Donna Summer: She (or, he) works hard for the money, hard for the money. In fact, this song may have become your anthem. Now let’s turn to what Mars, the action planet, and see what Mars is doing, for what he is up to will affect you in the coming months. Your daily life is apparently very busy, with plenty to do, overflowing emails, meetings, and telephone calls to return. You will need to make sure the many details you will be dealing with don’t fall between the cracks.

The coming weeks will also likely emphasize news about your sister, brother, or cousin. Something big may be bubbling up in the life of one of your close kin, and you will want to know all about it. Alternatively, you may cooking up something with your sibling or cousin together in coming months – to plan a family reunion, rent a vacation house together, or to take a trip together. This person is about to be on your mind, judging by your chart, so be sure to keep in touch to see what develops.

Mars will be traveling in Aquarius from now (a trend that started May 16) until November 15, and Aquarius is an air sign that blends beautifully with your fire element Sagittarius. The fact that Mars will be in this same sign for six months, until mid-November, is news, for Mars usually spends only six or seven weeks in one sign. There is a reason for that – Mars will go retrograde, starting this month, from June 26 to August 27.

This all means that you will have to work hard to wrap up important matters as early in June as possible. Once Mars goes retrograde, it will not be a favorable time to begin new relationships or major ventures. It will be important to get all vital matters done prior to June 26.

Mars may be VISITING your third house but Mars is also the natural RULER of your fifth house of true love. This means you may change your mind more than once about how you feel about a person you are currently dating. Give yourself time – there is no reason to rush if you are not sure. The fifth house also rules pregnancy and the care for children you have now, so again you may waffle back and forth about whether to have a baby now or later, or plans for a school for your little one, as two examples. Again, no pressure – you have time to think about this.

Venus will be in Leo from June 13 to July 9, one of the best places for Venus to be to help you enjoy romance. With Mars in opposite sign Aquarius, you’ll be magnetic and charismatic to admirers, so during this month, put on your favorite outfit and step out. You never know what the world has to offer until you leave the house!

If you are ready to wed the person you have been dating, apparently your partner is ready, too. If you are a married Sagittarius, you may be cooking up future plans with your one-and-only that will bring you both to a new level of closeness.

If you are single and you want to accept a proposal in mid- to late June, go slowly. Neptune will clash with the new moon in Gemini of June 13, and may cloud your judgment. You might also or alternatively use this energy to sign an agent, manger, publicist, or other collaborator, but if so, the same rules apply – go slowly, for what you see may not be real but rather a wishful view of this person. The less we know someone, the more likely it is human nature for many people to fill in the blanks with glowing attributes that they may or may not deserve. In this case, take your time, and see your partner under a wide variety of situations.

The big news of the month is that Mars, the energy planet that sets the tone of so many of your actions, is back in Aquarius after a two-year absence. Aquarius is a highly compatible spot for Mars to be for you, and lucky for you, Mars will remain in this sign until mid-November, a period of six months rather the more usual stay of seven weeks.

Mars will keep you on the road, traveling quite a bit, but not likely to a distant point overseas, your favorite destination. It may be that if you are single, you are involved in a long-distance relationship and going back and forth to visit your beloved’s base city. Or it may be that your best clients are just a short drive out of town. For some reason, you will be on the road quite a bit to nearby towns.

If you have to sign papers, do so early in June, or on June 19 when you will have Mercury (contracts) and Jupiter (profits, good fortune) in perfect sync. It appears you may be negotiating quite a bit in future months, and if so, you will have to be strong and keep your wits about you.

In July and August, you will find your client hard to pin down, and you will have to deal with your clients’ continually changing views. This is because Mars will be retrograde from June 26 to August 27, not a favorable time to seal deals. That’s a long time – 9 weeks – so if you do sign papers, have your lawyer button things up tightly. The problem is, after Mars goes direct, he will still be sleepy and lackadaisical for weeks.

The job of Mars in a chart is to help you compete and do well, but without Mars’ steady supply of energy, you may struggle with the yeomen’s effort you will be expected to put out. It would be better to launch a new product or service in September, at which time you will have Mars’ energy behind you.
