September will be a far better month than July and August, and you will be able to make impressive progress. The past weeks brought three eclipses, which is not typical – usually we have two at a time, two weeks apart, coming every six months. Eclipses require a lot of adjustments, so you may have felt that the past two months were quite intense.

The reason we had three eclipses is because the current family of eclipses in Leo and Aquarius are changing over into a new family of signs, Cancer and Capricorn. Eclipses always emphasize two signs that are found 180 degrees apart on the horoscope wheel, six signs apart, for they lie on the same axis.

You saw a preview of what might come for your financial future on July 12, a new moon solar eclipse in Cancer, which lit your eighth house of other people’s money. It was a friendly eclipse for most people, so perhaps you saw an influx of cash or a way to make money without too much upfront investment.

This new series of eclipses will help to restructure your finances from top to bottom by bringing you opportunities to generate new sources of income. Alternatively, you may be approved for an infusion of venture capital, a loan from your bank, or you may start to earn royalties, commissions, or yearly bonuses based on your performance. In a creative way, this may work out, you may get an offer for services you need for your next project at no cost or much below market rates.

The next eclipse in this series will be another solar eclipse, a new moon in Capricorn, January 5. That one will light up your second house of earned income, and because it is a new moon, a new financial path will open that you can chose to take or not, depending on how it fits into your present life. It’s good to have choices, don’t you agree? I know money has been a concern, but financially, things will get better by 2019, and even better yet by 2020.

Speaking of money, you seem to have seen your expenses rise after August 12, for at that time Mars backed into Capricorn, and costs will stay high until Mars leaves Capricorn on September 10. After that, Mars will go back to Aquarius, a sweet place for Mars to be for you. You won’t be as troubled with high expenses, and you will have chances to travel out of town on weekends and to take short business trips to see clients face to face. Nothing refreshes a Sagittarian as much as a trip to a new setting.

Your career is going gangbusters, and in September you will see just how well you are doing. The new moon, September 9, will light a bonfire at the very top of your chart, bringing opportunities galore to make a bigger name for yourself and to generate applause.

Along with the new moon, you will have the brilliant Sun and Mercury shining at the very top of your chart. Mercury rules Virgo and is bound up with your professional reputation and honors that will accrue to you now. This is the only new moon of the year in your professional tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement, so this is a very important moment in 2018 for you.

This month, Mercury will be unusually social, meeting with many other planets in a friendly way, sure to boost your career opportunities even more. I will tell you which dates Mercury will be working on your behalf in a second, but first, let’s see which planets will be sending gifts to the magnificent new moon and Sun on September 9. You will have two weeks in which to use the benefic gifts of this new moon, and all that you do will have the power to change your career for the better in the entire year to come. New moons are some of the most powerful events of a year, so take this one seriously, and use it for your advantage.

Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, and also the planet that rules Sagittarius, will send a shimmering beam to that new moon, suggesting that the opportunities that come up will happen through confidential meetings, and possibly through a quiet tip from a friend. Pluto will also work on your behalf at this new moon, suggesting you are about to see noticeably more money in your bank account as a result of all that comes up on or just after September 9. Jupiter and Pluto are considered financial planets (along with other gifts they may bring), so this new moon will be one of the best of 2018 for your career.

Only two days later, on September 11, you will have your best day of the month, and it might turn out to be one of the best days of the year. Jupiter and Pluto will trade signals with each other directly in what astrologers call a sextile, 60 degrees apart, and an aspect that denotes a golden opportunity to use as you choose. Whenever you find Jupiter and Pluto together, big gains in career and finances are possible. Both planets are considered planets of great financial growth.

It will be up to you to use September 11 for something special. Have a job interview, launch a new product or service, or sign a contract for a venture that has the potential for large profit. You could open the doors of your new business, unveil your new website or app, or launch an advertising, publicity, or social media campaign for your business or your employer’s business.

Jupiter and Pluto have very different orbits, so it’s hard to find them in sync like we have this month. Pluto takes 248 years to journey around the Sun, and Jupiter takes 12 years to make the same trip. Three meetings of Jupiter and Pluto was one of the features of 2018, and these occurred on January 15, April 14, and now, September 11. (In some time zones in Europe, Asia, Australia, Turkey, and other countries, this aspect will be also strong on part of September 12, too.) After this, Jupiter and Pluto will not see one another in this aspect again in 2018, and not at all in 2019. As you see, September 11 is a special day for making a profit or seeing more income, so it would be a shame not to use it.

Earlier, I remarked that Mercury, ruler of your prestigious professional fame sector, would be very busy this month, moving around the zodiac and meeting with many other planets on your behalf. Take special note of the following days:

September 7, Mercury and Uranus will bring exciting surprises. This would be an ideal day to brainstorm for breakthrough ideas with someone you choose as a sounding board. Surprise career news may leave you breathless.

The weekend of September 15-16 comes next, when on Saturday, September 15, Mercury and Pluto will help you discover ways to make more money. It’s a good day to examine your financial records to see where your best income has been emanating from in the past year, and what, if any, changes you might want to make to encourage greater growth.

On Sunday, September 16, you have a truly divine aspect with Mercury and Jupiter in sync. This would be a good day to sign a contract. Your best day for the signing will be September 11, and September 16 is a runner-up second best day, assuming the contract represents a profit-oriented venture.

If you travel over this weekend of September 15-16, your trip should turn out to be fun and profitable, too. You will see friends and also may find ways to advance your career this weekend. As always, you can choose how you want to direct this weekend’s energy – for fun, profit, or both.

On the weekend of September 22-23, travel will be a positive activity because Mercury and Mars will give you the motivation to pack and go. You’ll be energized and eager to see friends and explore the area you will visit. This trip would not be business oriented, but one to give you a needed break.

On Thursday, September 27, the Sun and Mars will be in conversation on your behalf. This day falls close to the full moon, September 24, and it’s a full moon that will be urging you to let go and enjoy the company of friends and those you love. You may be on the road for pleasure rather than work, so if you can take the day off and make it a four-day weekend, at this point in month’s end would give you the break you need to return refreshed.

Love, romance, and the care of children will be on your mind at the full moon on September 24, in Aries two degrees. You may be invited to a beautiful event, but with Saturn in Capricorn at sharp angles to the Sun in Libra and to the full moon in Aries, you might want to beg off social engagements due to the high cost of participation. Or, it may be that you have to work and cannot take extra time off. If you do manage to go, keep an eye on how much you are putting on your credit card so that you don’t have sticker shock later when the bill comes.

This house rules pregnancy and birth, so a surprise pregnancy may bring up the discussion of whether you can afford to have a baby. In another manifestation of this full moon, where an answer will be needed fairly soon, you may be offered a chance to work on a creative project that interests you, but you may wonder if you will be able to raise enough funds to make it happen.

Before you make a decision at this full moon on September 24, be aware that Mars will be outstandingly friendly to this full moon. That is why you will have solid hope that you can find the money you need to move forward. This full moon is in Aries, and Mars rules Aries – good! Mars will be in your third house in lovely angle to the Sun and full moon, so as the saying goes, “Where there is a will, there’s a way.” You can find the money if you take time to think about it.

If your birthday falls on November 24, minus two days or plus four days, you will feel this full moon more directly than most and benefit from it, too. The same is true if you have Sagittarius rising two degrees or the natal moon in Sagittarius at two degrees. Also look to see if you have a natal planet found at two degrees Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius, and in all cases within five degrees of that degree. If you do, that planet will be lit up and receive excellent rays from this full moon. Watch to see what happens.

SUMMARY

Home related matters are coming to completion, but flood damage remains a possible threat that needs to be taken seriously. First, ask your insurance company for a rider to cover your home for water damage. If your insurance company refuses, then talk to an engineer about how you can best protect yourself, for Neptune, father of the sea, will remain in your home sector until 2026, so the sooner you come up with a solution to protect your possessions that you keep at home, the better.

You may have been reminded of the importance of protecting your home against water damage at last month’s full moon in Pisces, late last month on August 26. Keep looking for solutions to water damage and don’t give up until you find one.

The new moon September 9 will be an exciting moment for you, for like all new moons, this one will open a portal of energy. It brings the one and only new moon of the year in your house of honors, awards, and achievements, allowing you to make quite a name for yourself. In the two weeks after this new moon of September 9 appears, you may see new business walk in the door, get an offer for a prestigious new position or promotion, or get enviable publicity. You may win an award or be honored in some important way.

Opportunity will come knocking in the days following the new moon, and you need to be ready with a well written resume and bio, and if you are creative, a portfolio of recent work. Jupiter will be very friendly to the Sun and new moon and may bring help to you through a confidential meeting or secret tip you are given from a colleague or VIP. Jupiter is your ruling planet, so for you, Jupiter wields extra importance in your horoscope.

Mars is currently in your second house of earned income until September 10. Your expenses have been high since mid-August, and thankfully, those expenses will soon simmer down by September 10. This month’s new moon will have the ability to help you find a pipeline of cash that could provide growth and security for you for a year or for much longer.

Mars is also the planet that rules Sagittarius’ fifth house of artistic expression, so you may present a creative idea that you will now push forward. Pluto is in your second house of income, and once Pluto turns direct at month’s end, September 30, you will see the fruits of your labors in financial matters.

Keep your eye on the very best day of the month, and possibly of all of 2018, which will be September 11. This is when your ruler, Jupiter will send a “sextile” – an aspect denoting opportunity – to Pluto on your behalf. On this day you may make a very lucrative deal, one that could bring you substantial profits, for Pluto is found in your earned income sector (second house). This is an exceedingly rare aspect that will not occur again until 2020. (Actually in 2020, the aspect will be even stronger, but we will need to wait almost two years for that to happen.)

Jupiter is in your behind-the-scenes sector, so the meeting will be confidential and may be scheduled to discuss strategic plans. Once Jupiter gets to Sagittarius, to stay throughout 2019 and starting this year on November 8, 2018, you will be ready to be crowned celestial favorite, making all of next year, 2019, your luckiest year of the decade, and possibly of your entire life. You can start to get ready for your big push now.

You have other days when your career will be on fire, almost as special as the one coming September 11. Circle these days in gold for progress in your career, reputation, and ability to show leadership on any front. Here they are:

September 7, when Mercury, the ruler of your fame sector, will be receiving rays from surprise-a-minute Uranus. Applause for your work will be substantial, and it’s a day when you can come up with breakthrough work.

Next, the September 11 date I already mentioned, when your ruler, Jupiter, and Pluto will work together – a five-star day.

Take note of September 15-16, when Mercury will be in conversation with Pluto and Jupiter. This would be a fine time to make an agreement, sign papers, and work on an idea that has considerable profit potential.

Indeed, as you get toward month’s end, the emphasis on career will lift, and more emphasis will be on the personal side of your life.

The full moon of September 24 won’t be an easy point in the month because Saturn will challenge the full moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra. It will give you time to think about love in the four days that follow. This full moon will light your fifth house of new love, true love, and matters related to children or pregnancy. A love relationship is coming to fullness, and you will have to decide how you feel about the person you are dating, or about the needs of a child that will require your assistance. This area of your chart also rules creative projects, so it looks as though you will be finishing up an important one at the last week of August.

The moon also rules Sagittarius’ eighth house of money that is tied to other people or companies, such as through a loan, mortgage, insurance payment, grants, commissions, or as a venture capital investment, as a few examples. There will be obstacles not only with payments or re-imbursements for expenses, but also with ninth house activities – distant travel, relationships with foreign people and in-laws, legal matters, or matters related to the media. A discussion may come up about gaining credentials for immigration or for a college or graduate school education. One or more of these areas could bring up a sticky problem that will beg for an answer from you.

On the plus side of this full moon, September 24 in Aries, you will have Mars in a encouraging position to help you forge ahead with an answer that had not occurred to you earlier. Mars is now moving direct, as August 27, so your actions will have more clout, and you will experience fewer delays. You can more easily untangle problems now, so if you have a dilemma, stick with it, as most of us think of the obvious answer first, but subtler, imaginative ones follow if you are determined to find an array of possible remedies.

If you need to take a quick short trip to have a face-to-face meeting with a client, you may be able to untangle things more rapidly than if you try to do so on the phone or through email.

This month brings progress, unlike July and August, which gave you Mercury and Mars retrograde. This will cheer you enormously. No more delays, and no more indecisive clients will be a blessing. Work to make your mark in your career early in the month, and then as you get toward the end of September, plan on some needed “me” time. You will be proud to have accomplished a lot this month and will deserve a little rest.
