We have made it to February, a darling month, made all the sweeter because most of us have come through some tough tests in January, which held two eclipses (January 5 and 20) triggering one or two sudden changes. If you felt January was intense, you are not alone. I would like you to share your stories about the eclipses and other aspects on social media—each night I read every post. Please include your month and day of birth (no year necessary) so that I can see your sign and rising sign.

This month, you will propel your future—your motivation will be high, and when you take aim, it will be steady and on target. Last month brought two eclipses, demanding adaptation to changing conditions, and a slew of Capricorn planets in early January that seemed to bring on meditations about cash flow and your strategy to make more money. This month you seem more relaxed and therefore more lucid and creative about such matters. You will turn up fresh opportunities now, for you are about to enter very possibly your favorite month of 2019.

Things start out quickly with the new moon on February 4 in wildly compatible Aquarius at 16 degrees, one of the best we’ve seen in a long time. Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, also your ruler, will shoot golden shimmering beams to that new moon and Sun, a rare aspect that indicates happiness, a lucky break, and possibly financial gain, too. This new moon will energize your third house of legal agreements, as well as short trips, and all types of communication.

You will be very busy this month with meetings, email, conference calls, and so forth. The first half of February will be your most creative time. All month, others will want to hear your opinions and plans, so don’t wait for others to come to you—reach out to them. You will like the response you receive. Your work is likely to pertain to the digital world, newly invented products and services, or social media, so you will have lots to learn.

The third house, which is so lit up for you, rules all of the communication arts. Here is your moment to start writing your book or screenplay, designing an app, or having your work translated into other languages. If you are an actor, audition for that role of a lifetime. Start a blog or redo your website, start a new social media venue (say, try Twitter, if you currently only use Instagram, for example). Open your world by broadening your horizons, and put ideas into action. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are on the wrong course. Having Jupiter in Sagittarius makes this your Emerald Year, when you will increasingly find that you are in the right place at the right time.

Your career will be vibrant over February 3-4, when Mercury, the ruler of your prestigious tenth house of career success, will receive golden beams from Jupiter too, from your first house of personal desires. What occurs over this new moon and in the ten days that follow will certainly bring news that you feel is important to you and that you will want to investigate and follow up on. The universe is on your side—seize the day and press forward.

Your favorite day of the month could well work out to be Thursday, February 7, when the Sun, in Aquarius, and Jupiter, in Sagittarius, will be in heavenly alignment and help you forge ahead with a deal that you feel passionate about. This is a day deserving of a gold star. Use this day for an important meeting with a VIP you would like to work with, to travel afar, or to meet with people overseas (or here) to forge an international relationship. Publishing, broadcasting, and opportunities in academia all shine, too.

Mars will remain in Aries, a fire sign like yours, and during this time will heighten your creative powers. This is your fifth house, which rules love and children but also artistic expression, and all will be given a boost in the first half of February. Share your ideas, for Mars only comes by every two years for a six-week period. It might be easy for you to underestimate Mars’ powers—he will give you the courage to present concepts that go to your core, and your timing would be right on the money.

Watch February 12, when Mars will align in conjunction with Uranus—a surprise trip or communication is likely to come up, and you won’t see it coming. Creatively or in research in the sciences, you could reach a major breakthrough.

Mars will leave Aries on February 14 and head to Taurus, lighting your workaday sector until March 30. This will intensify the fast pace at work that I spoke about earlier in your report. Although you will be on your skateboard and moving at the speed of light, you may like this phase, for your goods or services will be in hot demand. If you work for others, you will have plenty of interesting work, and if you are self-employed, jobs will come in, and the cash register will ring. Keep your health strong, because much will be demanded of you from the second half of February and through March.

If you are given a contract this month (and it’s very possible that you will be), then you must move things along this month by calling your lawyer quickly and sign. Mercury will be retrograde throughout next month, from March 5 to 28, and alas, you will feel the slowdown, delays, and miscommunications that Mercury is known to manufacture ten days prior to March 5 (February 23).

You must never sign a contract with this planet of communication, negotiation, translation, speech, and writing out of phase. If you do sign a contract, do your best to stay as far from the onset of this period as possible. Keep in mind that Mercury is at his worst at the very start and end points of the retrograde—that is when Mercury is a virtual wild child. Mercury rules your career, so move talks forward with a sense of urgency beforehand, because doing so in March will either require redo’s, or talks will slow down to a crawl. February is due to be a glorious month, so while you have such sunny aspects, take full advantage.

I will add here that if you want to buy a new computer, smartphone, expensive headphones, TV set, or other electronic item, shop on or in the week that follows the new moon, February 4, for it falls in high-tech sign Aquarius. (Aquarius rules all things newly invented in society. I add this because once someone asked me how the ancients knew about the digital world and high tech. They didn’t, of course—they just assigned Aquarius to all things little understood, and also all things that are newly invented. Astrology is governed by Aquarius, too.)

This month, something career-related will come to culmination at the full moon, February 19, in Virgo one degree. This will mark a moment of professional victory, and news will come as a complete surprise, for Uranus will be in ideal angle to that full moon. Mars in Taurus (February 14 to March 30) will also be perfectly positioned to send support from your sixth house of work projects, so your ideas, style, taste and business savvy will have something to do with your success. This full moon will land at the tip-top of your chart, so others in your industry will be aware of your good news, too. This might well become the most important moment of 2019 for the crystallization of a career goal. It’s a happy moment, so pop the champagne, and mark the moment.

This may be one of your favorite months of 2019. The February 4 new moon in Aquarius comes chock full of goodies, and will be working hard to get you to where you want to be. You will see lots of new offers come up, for Jupiter will be in the ideal place to boost this new moon’s energy, so whatever comes up will likely benefit you now and over the long-term.

You will have emails to answer, many texts coming through, and ringing phones to answer. You will also have conference calls and face-to-face meetings with a crop of new business coming in. If you are creative, work that you would be proud to design and put your name on will likely arrive, and you will want to show it to the world, so consider launching a publicity campaign about what you are doing, but do so in February. It’s due to be a busy time.

You will be able to spontaneously travel a short distance, and it seems to be for a grand romantic weekend away for two. I love the aspects on February 7, when the Sun in Aquarius will signal Jupiter, your ruler, currently in Sagittarius, in the friendliest way possible. The Sun and Jupiter will form an aspect denoting opportunity. This day will glitter for any purpose, including, but not limited to, a top meeting with a VIP, travel, signing a contractual agreement, and projects involving communication and creativity.

I also love the subsequent weekend of February 9-10 for you for travel laced with romance. On that Saturday, February 9, Mercury and Uranus will be sweetly aligned, indicating spontaneous plans will be a lot of fun. The transiting moon will be in Aries—a fire sign like yours—so circle Friday night, February 8, to enjoy a happy night out.

You may need to sign a contract this month, and if so, sign it. Next month will bring Mercury retrograde from March 5 to 28, so you don’t want to get tangled in Mercury’s delays and miscommunication. It’s never wise to sign any contract with Mercury retrograde, so if you sign papers on February 7, you are likely to make quite a profit from the endeavor. If you sign February 27, you can rally a lot of media attention for your venture.

The first half of February will be your time to concentrate on your creative efforts. On February 14, Mars will move into Taurus, to remain until March 30. During the second half of February through March, you will be busy with orders and demands of deadlines and needs of clients, management, and customers.

This same period, February 14 to March 30, would be perfect for getting your fitness goals in gear if you didn’t start in January. You have a lot of career action going on, and the time at the gym will be valuable for clearing your mind and helping you return refreshed to your desk.

The biggest news occurs at the full moon, February 19, for it will be the time of 2019 when your career hits an all time high. Big professional news is coming to you, and all the fireworks will burst open in the sky within four days of this date. Mars will be perfectly oriented to that full moon and Sun, giving a high-octane push into the stratosphere. Uranus, planet of all things surprising and unexpected, will also beam this full moon, so news you get will come out of left field, but you will be excited about what you hear. You will have plenty of news to announce.

The moon in your Sagittarian solar chart rules your eighth house of other people’s money, so it appears your finances are about to climb at the same time great career news come in. Foreign people, academia, or the media (broadcasting, video, publishing, and the Internet) will also be on your mind at the full moon, and the person who brings you the news may come from one of these fields.
