Leo Horoscope for June 2015

Your romantic life, or a pregnancy, baby, or child, will be joyfully on your mind as the month opens. A full moon in Sagittarius 12 degrees on June 2 will bring your attention to something regarding love or children to fullness, within four days of June 2. Overall, this is a sweet full moon, for it will receive with a nod from Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, in your sign, dear Leo, and from Uranus, the surprise planet, orbiting in pioneering Aries. You may spontaneously travel to an exotic location on this full moon, or return home, as full moons tend to finish up activities within four days of its appearance to prepare for a new cycle.
Neptune will be in hard angle to this full moon, however, and Neptune can either inspire or confuse, depending on the angle it takes in the horoscope. These days, Neptune will manufacture its pretty candy cotton fog, but it will obscure facts, so there's a danger you will be so enthusiastic about the warm feelings you have for a love interest that you could be tempted to throw caution to the wind and fail to see certain situations - namely financial ones - that you should pay attention to now, before you get more deeply involved.
Neptune is in your joint financial (eighth) house, which means you might not know all the pertinent facts about your partner's way of handling money. If you are getting married eventually, you should know his/her credit rating. Once you marry, you might be in danger of someday having to satisfy your partner's creditors for the debt he or she accumulated. Consult your lawyer and accountant now to see if you would have any liability.
If your birthday falls within five days of August 4, or you have Leo rising within five degrees of 12 degrees, or a natal planet in Leo, Sagittarius, or Aries at that degree tolerance, you will benefit from the full moon June 2.
Mercury is still retrograde until June 11, so don't sign papers or buy an electronic item, an appliance, a car, or any machine until after the retrograde is over. Mercury rules the moving parts and electrical impulses in all of these types of products. If a gear is wearing out with a product you now own, you'll know about it and have to go to the repair shop to get that item fixed.
You have the option to wait until Mercury moves at a super healthy speed - in that case, until June 27 to act. Mercury is always sleepy upon awaking on the day he goes direct, and is stumbling around the house until he can get his bearings. He needs about two weeks to get up to speed, and astrologers can tell mathematically when that day will arrive - this time it's June 27. It's perfectly okay to start acting a day or two after Mercury goes direct, say, June 12 or 13, but if you want to be SUPER sure, then wait to act on June 27.
As an example, I will buy my new Apple watch on June 27, for waiting another 16 days after the date Mercury goes direct is fine with me. I know on June 27 I may have to go on the Apple wait list for my new watch, but if the item works better, or the one I choose is better suited to me, that's great and what I want to happen. So while it may take even longer to get my new watch, I want to act at the very best time to buy it for me and for my younger daughter, Diana, who chose one for her birthday when we went to the store together to try them on. Diana is willing to wait too. Whether you can or are willing to wait to buy certain electronic items, or not, depends on your situation. You know best. The same advice goes for signing papers.
Now let's turn to the lovely days that will be sprinkled like confectionary powdered sugar all over June. Your special days will be grouped together in a row in early June, so you're due to have quite a happy ride then, but there will be more sweet days later.
First, I need to tell you where Mars is traveling, for the position of Mars is a key element in any chart. Mars, as the key action planet, always gets things cooking. In the first three weeks of June, Mars will be in Gemini, lighting your eleventh house of friends / fun / events/ new contacts.
It is likely you will be invited to a gathering on Friday, June 5, and you should make an effort to go. Jupiter will be active with Mars on that day, and when Jupiter is involved, happiness and profit usually result. This means that by attending a social event, you may make a new friend or acquaintance that gives you a tip you can use - it may help you see more money too. Gemini is fast-moving (everything is quick with Gemini), so any event you go to would bubble up with plenty of interesting conversation. Jupiter is the natural ruler of your romance sector, so you never know - you might meet an interesting new person at the event.
Also on June 5, Venus, planet of beauty and love, will move into Leo and stay in your sign for weeks. Venus will go retrograde next month on July 25 until September 17. During this time, it's not wise to do any plastic surgery, Botox treatments, or any dramatic changes to your hair, such as to cut your hair in a new style or color, as you may not like the results. Men, if you shave your beard, you may scare your children, who may cry, "Where is Daddy?"
During that period, sit tight. You CAN make changes to your looks prior to July 25. Routine grooming and hair trims are fine when Venus is retrograde - it is the dramatic changes you need to be careful about. Love seems to go from glamorous to less exciting no frills, so it's not the time to become engaged, as you would not want to put Venus retrograde into the DNA of your relationship - affection will be reduced.
Venus is the natural ruler of your tenth house of prestigious career progress too, so when Venus' power is reduced, it would not be the time to look for a new job. If you are in the middle of interviews, you will see them slow down because the company you are talking to will become indecisive about what type of person they are looking to hire. (November would be a far better time to announce a promotion or impressive step up.)
Your friends will begin to play an even bigger role in your life at the new moon in Gemini 25 degrees on June 16. Here you may make a new friend, and so many of the points I have discussed so far will intensify. Joining a club would be a great idea, whether social or professional in nature. By this time in the month, you'll have the Sun, new moon, Mars, and Mercury in your eleventh house of friendship.
This same solar eleventh house rules all kinds of groups too, for whenever people gather for a common purpose, it's an eleventh house matter. This month you may volunteer to help your favorite charity or to support a political candidate that you would like to see elected. By joining a group, you will meet likeminded people and may make a new friend.
Now let's look at a day that may be extremely important to you, Monday, June 8. On that day, fortunate Jupiter will be in pure harmony with the Sun, your ruling star. This day has your name written all over it! It is yours to enjoy and should bring pure joy. A friend will be a key part of the luck you see on this day, so keep your antenna up.
Next, a friend will likely surprise you in some significant way on Tuesday, June 9. Mars in Gemini - a double bodied sign, so it could be TWO friends - will receive a golden beam from the planet of all things completely unanticipated, Uranus. This should be fun. Mars and Uranus will be friendly to each other, so this is a day to enjoy socially.
Your ruling star, the Sun, will be active again on Wednesday, June 10, so again an authority figure you think of as a friend or supporter will receive a beam from Uranus. Like June 8, this day will be important for you. Uranus is in your ninth house of foreign people and places, international deals and travel, publishing and broadcasting assignments, all matters related to academia, and legal actions and the courts system. One of these areas may turn out to be very fortunate for you. When your ruling star is involved, the aspect is being directed at you.

You will also see all the dates that Mercury will retrograde, years into the future.
This eleventh house is also the house of hopes and wishes, so this new moon will encourage you to go after a dream dear to you. You do have Jupiter in Leo until August 11, so while you do, think big and reach for the stars. Jupiter will be in ideal angle to the new moon and so will Uranus, planet of surprise, so circulate as much as possible now. Gemini is an air sign, which will only make your fire-sign Leo element burn more brightly. You will be seen and admired at this point in the month. Venus will still be in Leo too, so while you have so much cosmic support, use it to your advantage.
One last point: an older person (indicated by Saturn) may become a mentor to you (planets in your eleventh house), as Saturn will be within range of an opposition to Mercury. This aspect can result in a serious, partnering opportunity with someone older and more experienced than you. See if you notice anyone in your sphere that you admire and who would be able to give you wise advice from time to time. This aspect also might mean you would be willing to take on a chairmanship of a committee in a club you have been a member of for some time. Volunteering is a good idea, for you will hone management skills you can later transfer to your "real" job. There is not a club on the planet that would not gratefully accept a volunteer's kind offer to lend a hand.
Next, we come to a jewel of a day, June 22, one that is rare and very special, and forms one of the high points of 2015. Jupiter in Leo will receive electric, exciting beams from Uranus, linking your first house of identity and desire, and your ninth house of travel, and the other areas I discussed in relation to June 7: International travel, people, places, matters related to teaching and study at a university, publishing and broadcasting opportunities, including Internet, all shine for you. One of these areas may provide a breakthrough, and something about what comes up will be completely unexpected.
It is a dazzler of a day, and it would be impossible to overestimate its power. We won't see this conversation between Jupiter and Uranus again until December 2019, and by then Uranus and Jupiter will be in different signs. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime aspect, so try to find ways to take action prior to its appearance so that you can unlock its treasures.
Mars will move into Cancer on June 24, a time when you will slow down your socializing. You will need more rest when Mars moves into your private twelfth house, so give in to the feeling and treat yourself to quiet time.
In terms of your home life, Saturn will slide backward into Scorpio on June 14 to September 17, a period of thirteen weeks, and affect Leos who have birthdays from approximately August 20 to 22. Saturn will refocus you on a long-term home, property, or family dilemma. If you did not make a decisive decision about this matter - and it may be centered on one of your parents or someone you think of as a parent - you will get a second chance to do so now.
Saturn often asks us to take on greater responsibility and to learn new skills, and also to learn to sacrifice for others, or to attain larger goals. You may be saving up for your first house or apartment that you will soon buy, or you have been charged with the care of one of your parents. By accepting this role, you will grow in stature and authority and garner much admiration from family and friends. Think back to what you had been thinking about in November and December 2014 - you will go back to that discussion and perhaps finish off things now.
The last weekend of the month seems made for you. Venus in Leo will be flirt with Uranus, setting up a gorgeous weekend for travel and romance. With Jupiter in Leo, you will have an outstanding chance to meet your one true love, so in the coming weeks, after you have had enough rest, continue to socialize. Your one true love could be right around the corner.
Summary
Something is brewing in your love life, for a full moon will appear June 2 and will influence you for four days before and after. It may be time to decide about a person you are dating, or to adjust the pace of a new love relationship if you feel it has been moving ahead too quickly. Mars will oppose this full moon, so be on guard if a friend's criticism of your sweetheart causes troubling feelings about that friend. At the same time, Uranus, planet of surprise, will be well angled, so you may love the unexpected news involving love, children, or a creative project. It seems many things are going on at once.
Your favorite day this month will be June 8, when your star, the Sun, will be in perfect angle to Jupiter. On this day a friend will make you very happy, perhaps by going out of his/her way for you. It's also a wonderful day to present to a VIP or to petition for a favor. The prior weekend will be special too, June 6-7, so this is an aspect with several days of bright light to it. If invited to a party, go, as it would be one that has a touch of a luxury, and every guest, including you, would be pampered.
Venus will enter Leo for the first time this year, June 5 until July 18, a time you will have heightened charisma and magnetism. You will not have to try too hard to get noticed, but it sure is smart to stack the deck by going out and looking your best. Venus is about to retrograde at the end of July, so if you want to make radical changes to your looks, this month would be the time to act, especially with Venus protecting you now in Leo. Have a consultation with your stylist, browse for new clothes and for women, choose new makeup or a new scent. If you have any plastic surgery on the agenda, schedule it sooner rather than later. Men, you too can't make any radical changes with Venus retrograde, but you can keep up regular routine grooming.
Mercury is still retrograde until June 11, a holdover from May 18. You may be enjoying this phase, as Mercury is touring your eleventh house of friendship, so you may run into and reconnect with one or two friends you are fond of and haven't seen in a very long time. Mars is still in Gemini, enlivening your eleventh house of social activity, so you will find the time to leave the office at a decent hour this month, and having time to have fun will be well deserved, after having had an intense career life last month. Your activities will step up even more after the new moon occurs June 16, in the same social area of your chart.
Distant travel to a far location may come up suddenly on June 10, 11, 22, or 29 when surprise-a-minute Uranus will be active and friendly, and send you a friendly lightning bolt to get you heading for the airport. Matters of academia, international relationships and foreign travel, publishing, broadcasting, and legal all shine too. The shining gem of the three days will occur on June 22, considered one of the gifts and lucky features of 2015. This aspect won't occur again until December 2019, for it involves two powerhouse planets that move slowly, Jupiter in perfect angle to Uranus. Those planets will be in different signs and houses by then - this month's aspect is better for you.
Finally, Saturn will retrograde back into Scorpio on June 14 to September 17, a place Saturn has been for two years, but Saturn exited at the end of December 2014. Scorpio rules your house of home and family, an area you seem to have been focused on for two years. If you have not yet found a solution to the challenge facing you, the problem may become more urgent to fix now. You may have settled things last month, but if not yet, late October and November look promising. Saturn will be gone from your home and family sector by mid-September for good, not to return until 2041. You won't miss him. This time, Leos born at the end of their sign, August 20-24, will be the ones to notice this trend the most.
Dates to Note for Leo:
Your love life, a focus on a pregnancy or child, or the finishing up of a creative project will be all you have in mind at the full moon on June 2. Uranus will be well angled, so events will move fast and in an unexpected direction. You may be talking about moving in together, or discussing whether you have enough room in your present home to add another baby, as two examples. Neptune will obscure facts - get to the bottom of things by asking questions and getting them verified.
Mercury will continue to be retrograde until June 11.
Spiff up your looks when Venus goes into Leo, June 5 until July 18, for it is the ideal time of the year to do so.
Great party night with friends, for it will have a touch of luxury and beauty: June 5.
Your career may stall a bit between July 25 and September 6 when Venus retrogrades. Focus on what you've already started, rather than reach out to new territory.
Friends and gatherings will play an important part of our social life from June 8 to 10. Surprises galore.
More fun with friends will start up June 16, the new moon, when the Sun, new moon, Mars, and Mercury will collaborate to heat up your schedule for the coming two weeks - you will hear from lots of friends.
A surprise trip may occur on June 10, when Uranus speaks to the Sun.
Saturn will move back to Sagittarius September 17, 2015 to December 20, 2017.This may bring back a housing problem if you still have to attend to this long, ongoing dilemma. By November it appears you will have made a deal concerning your home, and you will feel more settled.
Venus in Leo sextile Uranus in Aries on June 29, and you can feel the glow building June 27-28 over the weekend. These days will promote spontaneous response, bring over the top fun, and could involve surprise travel.
